If you are trying to go for a good education i would not recommend Oakland's schools. Simply because there is a lot of crime and drugs. Also a lot of schools are underfunded with not enough teachers and supplies. If you were to go to this school it would probably because you had no choice but if you did have choice you should only decide to come here for sports. Especially football, because a lot of Division 1 football schools scout for players here. An example is Marshawn Lynch now with the California Golden Bears and is a guarantee lock for top 10 NFL pick barring injury. This school is not known for education but they sure do have a good sports program.
