HORRIBLE!!! Do NOT send your child here. The facility itself is old and run down, most teachers do not speak english therefore communicating what is going on from day to day with your child is nearly impossible. There is no classroom structure leaving kids to run rampant and wild while most of the teachers sit around and gossip without paying the children any attention...I have witnessed this on numerous occasions firsthand...not to mention, most of the staff seems underqualified to even be there. This is definitely not a learning environment. Children are shuffled from classroom to classroom leaving parents to guess where there child will even be upon pick up. The owner, Natasha, is hardly ever present and extremelu difficult to get in contact with. Concerns as a parent are shoved under the rug and never addressed. This place is definitely not worth the cheaper price compared to other local facilities. My child is much happier and thriving somewhere else! Think twice before choosing this dump!!

If you want your child to actual learn in Pre-K than this is not the place for you. If you want your child to have a great time playing all day and doing projects that have no educational value this is the place for you! The Pre-K teachers are lazy and are ok with doing the absolute GA state minimum.
We love you Isabella

My son attended this daycare/school when he was 3.5 yrs old and he absolutely LOVED it!! Ms Rosa, Isabella, Natasha & Ms Yolanda are among his favorite teachers at Ashford Academy. As a mother, the most important thing that we look for in a daycare or school is our child's safety, overall development and happiness. Ashford Academy promises and delivers on all of these important aspect. If it is not because I had moved too far away (Cumming), I would have continued to let my son attend Ashford Academy. Until now (almost 6 months later), my son still talks about his experiences there! You must see this school and talk to the staff there to realize the loving atmosphere found in this awesome school!!!

Ashford Academy is an older facility located behind the Georgetown Shopping Center. It's owned and operated by mother/daughter team Noori Aaziz and Natasha Hashim. Both Noori and Natasha are terribly sweet and make all the children feel welcome and loved.

My daughter was in the three-year-old class which was taught by Ms. Rosa and Ms. Yolanda. Miriam loved them both, but was absolutely nuts about Ms. Rosa. She still talks about her.

My daughter learned quite a lot there. Each week there is a different letter/color/shape/number of the week that the children learn through stories, crafts, songs, etc. I was stunned by how much she learned. She even came home picking out letters on the computer keyboard. They also introduced Spanish in the classrooms.

The school also offers, for an additional fee, dance classes and gymnastics classes. She went to the dance classes and absolutely loved them. After my son was born and I pulled her from the school, we still went once a week so she could continue dance. In May they have a recital at Roswell HS. It was so CUTE!!!

Ashford Academy also participates in the state-funded pre-k program. We're going to sign my daughter up for their lottery in February.

Was initially very happy with care, but learned quickly that rooms are over-filled and staff is under educated, in some instances barely speaking English. Children came home injured with no reports of incident. Often had no idea what went on at school. Acitivities not learning directed. NOT WORTH THE COST SAVINGS - note no security system on building, with close proximity to I 285. Homeless people noted to be scattered about the neighborhood.

Pros: cheap

Cons: not safe, not a good teaching environment

My son attends Ashford Academy and is very happy. That is what I care about the most. He is also very smart and learns new things everyday. He is so advanced and I feel like the price is fabulous. I find the teachers and administrators easy to talk to. They also have a personal relationship with your child. Thanks Ashford Academy!

Ashford Academy is a little off the beaten path behind the Chamblee Dunwoody Kroger shopping center. The facilities are a little run down but are kept very clean. The staff is competent. My son did not quite get the pre-school experience that I was looking for so we switched schools. I wanted more of an academic setting and this was more of a daycare.

PROS: Very Reasonable rates and friendly staff
CONS: More of a daycare than preschool
