ALOT of problems now. Didn't use to be so bad so if you are reading any older reviews they are mostly accurate but if many of them came back on today they would likely update how far downhill the center and staff has gone. Shame to say my children will not be staying much longer. My kids are at a delicate age to adjust to changes but this is no longer the best place for them. Alot of issues I wont even get into except to say. Keep looking

My daughter's been attending Dayspring for about a year. Most of the teachers are really great; only 1 or 2 undesirables. The school is pretty good overall; the good teachers do care about the children and treat them well. My daughter is very happy attending.

What I love: 1. The Christian environment, i.e. saying grace before lunch, teaching about Jesus and Christian children's songs. 2. The mostly nurturing environment and how happy my daughter is.

What I don't love: 1. The administrator is not good at conflict resolution. If you have any issues, don't expect them to be resolved in the best way possible. If I brought up a conflict for resolution, it took way to long to be addressed. 2. The high teacher-turnover rate. My daughter's has had over 7 different teachers in a year (however the turnover is decreasing. She's only had 2 different teachers in the past 6 months).

Overall, the school is pretty good. My daughter loves it way more than I do, and that's what matters. She's safe, happy and loves the other children, so the negative things don't matter as much.

God bless on your childcare search!

My Kids have been going the DCC for a little over a year or so. They have been more active socially and have really learned a whole lot. My son was potty trained in under a week, his manners are awesome. He clears his plate after dinner, and he is only 2! The crafts and relationship along with the teachings of Jesus have really opened my eyes as well as made life better at home. They don??t pound the religion down the kid??s throat; it is more of a religious theme which gradually lets the children know who he is. They had some real problem staff members in the past but they have since been rotated out for a GREAT group of teachers. Price is comparable to other centers. It also helps out that they accept Title 20, not for me but a good friend who is between jobs and has 2 children of his own. Their summer programs are great for older kids as well. I recommend 100%.

I can't even begin to explain how wonderful this place has been for my children and myself as a mom. I have a son in the infant room and a 3 year old daughter. My daughter has been to 3 previous centers since she was a baby and this is by far the best for her. We are moving to another house and I already decided I will go out of my way to still bring my kids here while I work. The director and teachers are so caring and helpful. I will keep my kids here until they go to school, no doubt about it

We visited alot of different daycare centers prior to placing our grandson with Dayspring, do the same & you will see they are far ahead of the others. Clean, Secure, Friendly, Good meals for the kids, Huge playground, lots of activities to keep a very busy 3 yr old boy interested & learning. Looking forward to all the new classooms and activities he will be involved in as he gets older. Thanks Daysprings, you give me peace of mind during the day while I'm at work.

They raised their rates comparable to Goddard's, but do not provide the Goddard quality environment.
Their reasoning for the rate increase was to hire more staff. Well, they hired more staff, but still hired incompetent personnel.

The Director is barely available, and she is definately does not have a handle on managing.

We pulled our child out of their care and luckily Goddard had a spot available.

My children have been attending Dayspring Community Child Care Center for three years now and I haven't been anything but happy with them. They are located in a community church in Canal Winchester. The facility is clean and the ratio of children to teachers is low. I have a one year old daughter that has attended since she was twelve weeks, and a four year old daughter that has attended since she was two. They do some Christian education, but the majority of it is preschool type learning. My four year old can already write her name incredibly well for her age, and is well-socialized. I believe this has come from the environment at Dayspring. It's a small center, which allows for very "personal" interaction with the director and teachers. They do field trips, Christmas programs, a "graduation" for children entering kindergarten, movie days, luau week, and the like. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

PROS: Wonderful, caring teachers. Small personal environment. Clean facility.
CONS:
