Big Time Diner

Great atmosphere, great service, excellent food, definitely good to families (good kids menu), one thing that's delicious and not on the menu is the Chicken Philly over rice...just ask for it by name! THey know what you want!
Get in early though, they fill up quick!

If you're sick of the same ole foods, then the Big Time Diner is the place to go. They have a great variety of menu items ranging from old fashioned floats to fantastic seafood gumbo. I always make room for their scrumptious homemade pies. It is place you don't want to miss,

Food is always amazing, service is always great, just wished they would open one in Auburn so that I could eat there all the time. My husband and I always make a trip to eat there when we are in Mobile

Big Time Diner is a great place for families. The food is excellent and always fresh. The prices are very reasonable. This restaurant does not serve alcohol or have a smoking section. It is very kid friendly and is decorated like a 1950's diner. It is conveniently located on Cottage Hill Rd. across the street from Cottage Hill Baptist Church. They have blue plate specials which come with a meat and three vegetables, a roll or cornbread. The shrmip po boys, hotdogs, and hamburgers are also good. They also have excellent malts and milkshakes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

PROS: Great family atmosphere, reasonable prices, great food, kid friendly
CONS: They sometimes run out of certain dishes; often have to wait
