4 Stars: Unique Education (by Lucy T.)

This is a wonderful school with great teachers and high parental involvement. We went to the school mainly for Spanish immersion but have been pleasantly surprised with the global education and general love of learning that this school instills in the students. I must say though, in response to the other comment, we have definitely been asked to sell plenty of cookie dough, wrapping paper and things of that nature. I didn't want anyone to be mislead. Also, the field trips, while educational, seem to be of a similar nature (most are hosted by various departments at the U of A which I presume are free anyway).

5 Stars: Correction of earlier post (by Debbie N.)

To correct Lucy's comment, the cookie dough etc.started this year and is done by the Parent's Association. We are all members of the ISTPA and meet monthly to discuss projects, fund-raising and the events the ISTPA runs. If Lucy dodn't like this she can go to the ISTPA meetings and vote. The School only runs a golf tournament first semester and a dinner second semester and that is their only fundraising. I am unaware of any wrapping paper. The Field Trips are all related to the themes and some are more age-appropriate than others. This year they have included Tucson Zoo, Botanical Gardens, landfill, water recycling plant, train museum, old cars museum, Historical Society, downtown buildings, I don't recall any to the UA but since every class goes on 6 - 10 Field Trip every year I may have missed one or two.
