Have been using BAH for over 7yrs now, and am very satisfied with there services. I have a cat who has major issues he is aggressive and he bites. Recently I had to bring him in for a bladder infection. The Doctor and staff member handled him with such care. Never once were they indefferent with him cause of his issues. They still took the time and the gentleness with his examination. I compliment the whole Staff!

This is the first time I have actually gone ahead and posted a review on this site for any company. I have been going to BAH for about 6 years and have always had great service for my two doxies. I have moved twice since starting at BAH and even though it takes me nearly an hour to get there I will not change.

Just a side note, I started going there because one day my dog was very sick when I had returned home from work. There was vomit all over the house and he was shaking in the corner. When I called my vet they said sorry we don't have any openings and to take him to the animal hospital. I called BAH and even though I had never been there before they told me to come right over. They treated my dog and were always the most caring and professional group!

I have a two year old Maltese and we have been going to B.A.H ever since he was a puppy. Any time I'm ever there there is never a long wait ten minutes the most. It maybe expensive but any animal hospital you go to it will cost you money, pets don't come cheap. The staff is very polite and knows what they are doing. I would recommend Boulevard Animal Hospital to everyone any day, but don't take my word for it, you won't know until you try it there.

I have been taking my dog to the same vet for 7 1/2 years, even with an appointment I would end up being there for nearly 2 hours so when they raised their prices I decided to change. That is when I found Boulevard Animal Hospital. I LOVE THEM! I am in and, the staff is amazing, their prices are reasonable and they really care. They found things wrong with my dog that my previous vet thought to be normal. I am very thankful for them and will continue to recommend them.

I've been taking my 2 cats here for 4 years, since I rescued my first. With only one exception, I've found the vets here knowledgeable and caring, particularly Brett Geffen, who's just amazing with cats - I have a VERY large male who can be very aggressive and just plain intimidating when he's at the vet but Brett can handle him with ease, and everyone who's seen my cats here is very capable and caring. Compared to the "emergency" vet hospital in Langhorne, where I've had to go on a few weekends and holidays, prices aren't terrible. Yes, the office is hectic but a place full of animals is always a zoo.

I have been going to BAH for 20 years now. I have to say that I am surprised by some of the negative reviews. I have never been treated unkind there and neither has any of my animals. As far as price goes I say you get what you pay for and when you get exceptional service you will pay a price for it and trust me it is worth it. I don't think you will find another place that takes the time to really care for your animals. Anytime any of my animals have been hurt they have always taken them in the "same day" and they have ALWAYS followed up with phone calls to make sure they are doing okay. I do not know of too many places that do that.

last sat., i had the difficult decision to put our 15 year old dog down. i had let it go till the last minute. it was on the weekend and i now was getting very anxious. i called boulevard hospital. they said of course they could help and to come over within an hour. i had to carry our dog up the stairs and into a very busy waiting room. they immediately took me back to the room. they were gentle and very caring. i do not think our dog suffered as they immediately gave her a sedative and waited for it to take effect. since she was very lethargic anyway, it didn't take much. the whole thing was over in a few minutes. i have nothing but compliments for this facility.

My husband and I took our shelter star, Jake to BAH for over seven years. The first time we realized how dedicated and compassionate the staff at BAH was was when Jake accidentally ingested some critter bait the the evening before a party we were hosting for 65 people on 12/23/2001. Dr. Brett expedited lab work for us and treated Jake with vitamin K. Over the years Jake went for routine care and we thought we had many more years with him. In late January of 2008, Jake suddenly became quite ill. Over the course of three weeks Dr. Brett and Dr. Jill ran tests and treated Jake. When he did not respond to treatment, we were sent to Langhorne Emergency where an US determined he had hemangiosarcoma of the spleen that had spread to his liver and he was bleeding into his belly. We were told there was nothing that could be done except end his suffering. Dr. Jill and the office staff waited for us keeping the office open so Jake could die in familiar surroundings. After Jake's death Dr. Jill and Dr. Brett called us to see how we were doing and are now taking care of Murphy, a sweet boy we adopted from a rescue group. I stopped in yesterday to pick up Murph's heartworm meds and Dr. Brett again made time to ask how we were doing. These people are wonderful.

Yesterday my cat who was only 3 years old had to be put to sleep due to genetic heart disease. I was in desperate need of a vet close by because he was very sick & needed attention immediately. My friend referred me to BAH. I called & explained my situation and the woman i spoke to told me i needed to being him in ASAP. When we got there she knew exactly who we were and brought us back immediately because she knew there was something terribly wrong. Putting my cat to sleep was like loosing my child. I do have 2 young boys but our cat meant the world to us. It was the toughest decision ive had to make thus far in my life. The woman COULD NOT have been anymore compassionate and caring. The girls at the desk couldnt have been either offering me tissues and telling me how sorry they were for our loss. Also, the woman who took care of us and our baby told me that in a few months she would call me to find out if we were ready for a new kitten & that she personally would help us find one. As far as im concerned they were some of the best. Whoever begs to differ really isnt in their right mind. If the girls who work there read this ... being in my distraught state yesterday i dont remember the name of the woman who was with us, if by chance you read this please call me because i would love to talk to you and thank you for your outstanding service and true compassion. my name is jen.

My husband and I very recently had to have our dog Lucy put down. It was very hard for both of us. She was only 7 and had the disposition of a puppy her whole life. There were no signs of her being sick at all until one day when I came home on my lunch break to let her out she was lying by the door to my bedroom and wasn't in the window waiting for me like she usually was. When she got up to go outside (with lots of prompting) I could tell there was something terribly wrong with her by the way she was walking she got outside and collapsed on my back lawn. I called my husband to come home and immediately called the vet and explained the situation. They told me to come right over.
Dr. Geffen examined her and asked me if she could have gotten into anything like rat poison or Tylenol, I told him no I have 2 small kids and I can't leave stuff like that lying around my house. My husband got there just in time for Dr. Geffen to tell us she was critical. He said they could do a chest xray and some other tests and then they would have to send her off to a hospital affiliated with them that handled critical cases. I explained money was an issue for us. Dr. Geffen then said if he could tell us there was a 60% chance they would be able to save her he would suggest they should go on with the testing. He said even if they could save her he didn't know what kind of quality of life she would have.
That would've been his time to pad the bill if he was going to do it. He could have told us to go on with the testing and he didn't. He made a very hard decision for my husband and I easier. After she was put to sleep Dr. Geffen told us how sorry he was. He said he would have made the same decision if it was his dog. He also said thank god they very rarely see cases as severe as Lucy's was. So thank you Dr. Geffen for being so honest and understanding. We miss Lucy very much and I wish we could have her back with us everyday but that wouldn't have been fair to Lucy who loved to walk, run, play and play ball with the best of them. RIP Lucy. I don't know what we are going to do without you.

My dog recently cut his paw on glass. When I saw all the blood I knew she needed stitches.I called my vet ( at the time- someone I'd been going to for years ) and was told "They were booked" and I could call another vet to see if they had an appt. for me. ARE YOU KIDDING? Call another vet? After I picked my jaw up off the floor I started calling local vets. Only one hospital had an appt.. I couldn't believe how nice they were at Blvd Animal Hospital . The vet assistant came right over and checked my dog's paw. I could see it was bad by the look in her eye. She quickly took myself and my dog into a surgery room where we were immediately met by a woman vet. Dr. Michelle was very understanding and explained that my dog needed stitches, the wound was deep. I returned 2 hours later to find a very sleepy but happy dog with a bandaged paw. I read the other reviews listed for this hospital and I have say I was very happy with the staff. They were professional and courteous. AND my bill was very reasonable. Needless to say I transferred all my animals records to Boulevard Animal Hospital.

I began taking my new kitten there and they misdiagnosed her condition several times. I understand not everything is picked up on the first visit but they continually charged higher and higher fees although they did less and less. The vet assistants are nice enough but on each of my visits all but one veterinarian behaved as if my kitten's problems were just a nuisance to them and they didn't listen well. Kept insisting they knew what the problem was but each time they were wrong.Ended up paying hundreds of dollars for a condition that should have been resolved on the first visit and actually was, my first visit with my new vet.

This vet hospital gives average vet care, but at a more affordable rate. They do take time to listen to you, and offer a wide variety of services such as spay/neuter.
Have had no problms with them. Would use again.
