Old Neighbors Laundry Dry Cleaning And Delivery

Old Neighbors is by far the best laundry service in this area. I have several other places closer to my house but I prefer to use Old Neighbors because they are always do a great job - whether there are specific instructions, delivery time, or anything else.

I had my laundry picked-up and had set a delivery time when I scheduled the pick-up. I then was in the area, so I decided to come in and pick it up myself. The total seemed rather high, so I asked to weigh the clothes myself....when I did, I found that I was being charged almost 20.00 more than I should have been (I had a lot of laundry). I think the total weight I was being charged for was 90 something lbs and it was only 73lbs when I put it on the scale. I think because it was a delivery, they over charged (because how would anyone check?)...so just be careful.

I'm super happy with this place and totally recommend it. I call and the guy's at the door within an hour, next day they drop it off, all neatly folded and organized like socks all in one bag, towels in another etc and for very reasonable price, brilliant.

No matter how desperate you are to have your laundry done, do not use this place. They lost some of my clothing and gave me a few of someone else's items. When I called to let them know that they had given me someone else's laundry they did not understand and then told me that they would have a manager call within the next 30 minutes. 3 hours later the manager had not called me back, so I called them back again and they pretended that they did not speak english. I then started speaking to them in Spanish and they told me they would have the manager call me. He never called back and I am still missing some of my laundry. And no one has come to claim the other pieces of laundry that were not mine. There are some designer pieces which I am sure someone is upset about. I am very mad that I am still missing some very expensive work pieces and will never use this company again. Please do not use this company no matter how badly you need a cleaner unless you would like to end up with somebody else's laundry and your own favorites missing.

I use this laundry for almost a year and I am very satisfied. They pick up and deliver for free. They are always very friendly and nice on the phone as well are the delivery men. Your laundry comes very clean and folded and I never had to iron. I have never used another laundry before, but I find the prices very reasonable. 15 dollars for a really tall bag is not too much.
I recommend this laundry without any hesitation, they are great!

My laundry was just picked up. What a relief. It will be back tomorrow night. Despite my still being only mid-process, I'm feeling total confidence in this service. I could reach them immediately, They were polite and matter of fact, which to me spells professional. I've been
putting this off for months. I don't know why I hesitated. Now, all is well. No more rushed homestyle-washing with Woolite of just enough clothing to get me by for a week. Good-bye to that last minute overnite washing of just one shirt to make it through the next day, anxiously watching it, waiting for the moment I can take it off the improvised rack that's suspended over the 12-inch fan. Finally, I'll have more worry-free nights every month.
I recommend them: they offer many services, and they are meeting my expectations, for sure.
Well...I've said a mouthful, or is it a laundry bag full (what a wit!).

I recently discovered Old Neighbors after an unpleasant experience at another laundry in the neighborhood. The entire store is clean, well-kept, and organized. The washer and dryers are very new. In the back, there is a mini garden where you can sit and relax while you wait for your laundry cycle to finish. Old Neighbors offers free pick-up and delivery; you can also drop off your laundry to be washed, dried, and folded. If you have a complaint, there is a phone number on the wall that you can call to lodge a complaint. I'm not sure how much English the laundry attendant speaks.

PROS: clean, organized, new machines
CONS: not sure if there is air con in summer, not that big
