Sunriver Resort

We stayed in a house at Sunriver Resort and the house was just okay - a little older, but we really enjoyed our vacation at Sunriver. You could ride bikes everywhere on the property and it was such gorgeous weather every day. The Deschutes River runs right next to the bike trails and it is beautiful.

I think the resort is wonderful to stay at with so many activities for everyone to do. However, I would not recommend hosting any type of events here. We have tried to host 2 separate events and have had difficulty each time: timeliness issues, receiving accurate information, quality of work, etc. They seem like a great staff group but it always seemed like I was doing so much of their work.

If you like driving everywhere and staying in a lodge room with lousy heating so that you catch pneumonia this is the place. Rooms are pricey for what you get and restaurant facilities are sparse. The only bright spot is the spa.

This resort is so pretty. There are bike trails everywhere you can also walk. There is a pretty one right by the river where the landscape looks fake. Each house is privately owned so they have character. The pools have a lot of seating and it is a great place for kids. The little town area has cute little restaurants and shops. Great place for a family vacation.
