I am in the process of purchasing my first home and I am working with Dale Carruthers at Coldwell Banker. He has been fabulous. He is sending me listings via e-mail as they become available in the area and price range I want. When I saw a listing that I really liked, he took me out to see it that afternoon. He provided detailed information about the sale of other homes in the area. After our walk through, he said he would be happy to sell me that home, but he also told me that he kept hearing me want to make changes. He asked, 'Is this really the kind of home you are looking for?' Then he suggested that we wait and keep looking for just the right place for me. Can you believe he gave up a commission so that I would just have the right place? To me that is the signature of honesty. I feel completely comfortable that he is watching out for me.
