I went here today and it was EXCELLENT ALL AROUND! I found the prices to be great.. for I did not spend more then $10 and had a great quantity. The staff was also friendly to boot!

I must say I am impressed. The service is friendly and I just love the ambience. They have nice chairs and tables and a small leather couch. they also have outside patio seating with a water fountain in the center. It's just beautiful.

Their coffee is excellent, serving Gavina, a gourmet coffee I haven't heard of, but it tastes smooth and rich. I didn't get to try their sandwiches but they have breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I only ended up ordering a lemon poppyseed muffin. Their prices are excellent for this area: $1.75 for a large (20oz.) cup of coffee, and $1.50 for a muffin.

They also have free wifi here, which is important to me.

Check this place out for a great relaxing time, to do business, read a book, enjoy the weather, for a lunch break, or to catch up with friends.

PROS: ambience, service, food, coffee, wifi
CONS: parking, but you can get into a lot for 90 minutes free in Old Town

Ratings_icons great coffee AND food too

My husband was hungry for breakfast & I wasn't, so we were headed to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for coffee & a little pastry for him. But first we passed Cafe Alibi, and decided to try it. I had one of the best caramel macchiatos ever, and my husband had a healthy, delicious breakfast without feeling stuffed (the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I didn't have any food). The employees are also quite friendly. We will definitely stop in anytime we're in Pasadena. Too bad Coffee Bean!!

PROS: has food as well as coffee, inexpensive, friendly, good atmosphere
CONS: can be tricky to find parking in the neighborhood
