The Best thing to do is call the 800 number ( 1-800-772-1213) I have had to Deal with this Cleburne office for a long time and they are Rude and not well trained and just Plain Lazy they would rather sit and chat with each other than do there Job so Call the 800 number then they will let you know if you need to go to the Cleburne office and I always make a complaint when they send me to them over the phone before I go and after I go if needed

I tried and tried to call them on the phone. I would be waiting to talk to someone for hours. After at least 20 attempts to speak with someone, I finally had someone answer. I just needed to ask a simple question. The person I talked with was rude and could not answer a simple question. After asking to speak with a supervisor things got worse. The person I was talking to would not give me their name nor transfer me to anyone else. Then they hung up on me! This is unbelievable. I have tried to call back many times and still, no answer. What is their problem? What are the people that work there doing all day? I guess they hope you die before getting to talk with them. There should be a rating below Unsatisfactory for this office because I feel that Unsatisfactory is way more than they deserve.

I too was hung up on. They call me back, I said hello, a very soft voice gave me her name, and I could barely here her. I say who is this" She gave me her first name, I said, do I know you? She said "you called me". I said, "Who are you again". She said, ??This is the SS office? I said, "why didn't you say so?" She then hung up.

I called about a small matter of money being taken out of my account and got a hold of a lady named Patricia, she was very rude and short with me then hung up on me before I was finished.

For some reason, everytime I contact the local Social Security Office, I get mixed responses for the same answer. Naturally, this leads to a great deal of confusion.

Don't get me wrong. Most of the people there are very courteous, but it doesn't seem like they are all on the same pace. It does tend to get hectic there and waiting time may be necesary.

The best advice I can offer you is to go to their online website site at: www.socialsecurity.gov and see if you can submit your info from there. Or better yet, call them. I'm sure these routes will prevent less confusions.
