Gloria's has groomed my pack for countless years now. The store is cozy and the staff is extremely warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They always take the time to discuss with me how I want each dog styled and then do it that way as long as the dog's hair permits. I am very particular about grooming my Yorkies, Schnauzer, Cocker, and Bijon, even to the point of bringing pictures to follow. My doggies' groomer, (yes, we have our own) is very patient with me and assures me that I am not a pain in the neck. The dogs come out impeccable but if there is anything I want adjusted, she will do so without hesitation.
I have boarded my dogs there and they are well taken care of and treated with love. Dogs are fed California Natural (great brand) or food you bring. They do not have a dog run but do get walked and played with frequently and are not kept in crates for long periods. I am very comfortable leaving my dogs with them. One negative is that they require that dogs get baths before being returned and there is a charge for this.
Gloria's Dog Beauty Salon has been in business for many years. They are a great dog grooming salon, making your dogs clean and pretty. This salon is the type of place that dogs do not mind going to, as the personnel there is so warm and friendly.
The salon also boards dogs while their owner's go away, and they do so with love and compassion. The dogs are not crowded in, they are treated like the boarder's own pets, and they are fed, exercised and played with. It is like a dog sleep away camp, and the dogs enjoy going there.
PROS: Warm, friendly and talented dog groomers and boarders
CONS: None, except must reserve in advance for boarding
