I bought my wife a brand new Maytag washer and dryer from Sears over 20 years ago. She kept them in mint condition without a scratch on them all that time. One day the washer quit working and I called Justified Appliance on FM529, which was only a half mile away at the front of my subdivision. They picked up our washer and took it for repairs. We could have bought a new washer for $500, but they said they could replace all the worn parts in it for $250. They said the tub was rusted on the bottom side from years of use, and it would also be replaced. It sounded good so I gave my OK for the repairs to be done. When they delivered the washer back the first thing my wife noticed was a dent in the side of the washer that was not there before. She kept it perfect for over 20 years and they bang it up in one week. My wife was a bit irritated, but this was not the main problem. I noticed the "new" tub they had installed looked different than the original one that had been there. I called and asked why. They tried to tell me it was a bigger and better tub than the original Maytag one, but the final truth that came out was that they had used a cheaper aftermarket replacement tub in place of the Maytag one. I also asked what parts they had to replace and they told me about some gears in the transmission they had swapped out for good ones. Swapped out for good used ones? They said they did not use new parts to fix it. They finally admitted to using "good USED PARTS" from other broken washers. This was not what I was told or expected for paying half the price of a new washer for repairs. The cheap tub really bothered my wife so I promised her I would get it fixed back to new condition like it was before. I called Justified Appliance and told them to come get it and put the right tub in it. They refused to do so unless I paid them another $125 for what they said covered the difference in the prices of the tub. I did not tell my wife but I went ahead and paid the additional $125 for the tub replacement since I had already invested $250 in it, and I wanted her to be happy with her washer. It was supposed to have a three-year warranty, but within a year it started leaking water on the floor. I called Justified Appliance and was told there would be an additional fee. I went to the Justified Appliance location and was talking to the employee at the counter. I told him I was not happy and I wanted the washer fixed with new parts and with no dents this time. The owner heard me and came over and I told him I wanted the washer fixed right! He said, "All I want is for you to be out of my store!" This is the type of treatment you get when you catch these people cheating you. I called later without giving my name and tried to talk to the service tech to find out what could be leaking on the washer so I could fix it myself, but they refused any information over the phone. Pass this info on to others so they will be warned of just what Justified Appliance is like. God bless, James

The washer we bought worked well for a while, but then broke. They were rude and unconcerned when trying to schedule the warranty service. They also charge a $53 charge to come do the warranty repairs, so really not that great a deal overall. Unfortunately if you are short on cash and can't buy new, you have to take a gamble.

We bought a reconditioned GE Dishwasher from this supplier 15th November 2008. Today, 20th February, it is still not working properly. It has never worked properly. It runs an entire programme without water, then sometimes it runs an entire programme WITH water. When it does work with water, nothing is cleaned properly and dirt remains flung around the sides of the machine and all the dishes after a wash. A couple of weeks after we purchased, a couple of guys came and replaced the motor. It seemed to run louder, which made me think that it would then be cleaning better. It did - for about a week. Then I went back to England for 6 weeks, leaving my girlfriend with a substandard machine. She was unable to schedule a day off to be in for the guys to come and fix machine. I got back to Houston on Feb 3rd. Machine was still not working properly, so I eventually called Justified and they sent a guy to look at the machine on 19th Feb. He played around, did something, then machine ran great - BUT ONLY ONCE. I called them back the next day (yesterday) and spoke to the same guy who said he may need to replace the switches. He said he would call back. That was yesterday morning. He has not called back. I would like a full refund OR a replacement machine. To me, this would be the minimum they could do to be reasonable.
