No one goes into a root canal whistling a happy tune. I had one years ago, and it was a terrible memory.
Dr. Pilot has a friendly, but matter-of-fact, approach that puts you at ease. I was also given a warm, soft blanket that was very comforting in the chill of the office air conditioning and my personal fears.
He was gentle and reassuring through a lengthy procedure. Though I have trouble getting my mouth open very wide and keeping that way, he was helpful and supportive. Afterwards, I had no pain, which was a welcome surprise.
However, the next day I found my upper teeth had some new cold sensitivity. He was working on the lower jaw on that side, but kept hitting my upper teeth due to my inability to open my jaw fully. Not his fault, really, but this is why I gave four stars instead of five.
Costs also seemed relatively moderate, for this type of procedure. Certainly, they were not out of line for what I considered to be superior work.
PROS: Skillful, caring, and painless dentistry. They even validate parking!
CONS: None, really.
