Featuring a wide range of books, CDs and DVDs - even new releases that you can pre-order before they've arrived.</p> <p>I've found the customer service to be excellent, with the staff ready to order anything you might need from other libraries should they not have it in stock. Their system is flawless, with the customer receiving a phone call from the library to alert them that their materials are in.</p> <p>The best part about the library is the small room on the third floor that houses Salem-only reference materials. Here you can peruse birth/death records, witchcraft trial records, old maps, family history books, etc. all relating to Salem's long history. They are open seven, yes seven, days of the week. They have a great helpful staff. We love their expansive collection of dvds to rent...including many current ones! Also, we take advantage of borrowing from their huge collection of music cds. They have all genres. Oh yes, they even have books. :) They display their latest paperbacks and all the new hardcovers right in the lobby as you come in.
