Grande Pointe Healthcare

My bedridden mother was placed in a room with a bedside call button that didn't work. She ended up crawling on the floor to find help after waiting 1.5 hours for a diaper change. She was scraped & bruised & petrified. And this was on her first night.

I volunteered often at Grande Pointe when I was a student at Richmond Heights Middle & High school. It's a clean, well-lit, roomy facility with a lot of programs for residents to attend - Bingo, painting flower pots, making homemade holiday cards, and listening to middle school students sing were the ones I best remember. The staff is very warm and friendly, and the patients seem happy with the variety of activities and the chances to socialize - they aren't lonely and cooped up by themselves all day. I'm not a resident, but from an outsiders perspective, it seems like Grande Pointe does a lot for their residents to keep them happy.
