The Kavinoky Law Firm

The worst experience I could have imagined. After paying $6000 for consultation, I never heard from my attorney again. Noone, especially the attorney assigned to me, was willing to answer questions concerning the legal process or strategy, absolutely nothing. The decision I received in court I could have gotten without an attorney. At least I would have saved the $9000 total I spent with them. Horrible.

Do yourself a huge favor and AVOID this firm AT ALL COSTS.

I had a VERY good experience with this firm. First off, they were extremely responsive. I had so many questions and I felt very comfortable calling them any time. I had a commercial license and absolutely could not afford to get a conviction for DUI. They handled my case like professionals and ended up getting me a reduction to a "dry reckless." I was told by many lawyers that they could do nothing for me because I had blown a .14 in to the PAS device and a .16 into the machine at the station. THANK GOD FOR THIS FIRM... they saved my job, my house, my family, basically my life. Well worth the money I spent!

I went for the most expensive legal representation possible, and got the worst. My initial attorney quite, or got fired, halfway through the process. The guy that took over did basically nothing until we were sitting in front of the judge in the courtroom, then tried to figure out what to do with the case. It was very difficult to get hold of my attorney. I basically did all of the research and collection of evidence for the case. The only thing the firm did was show up in court for me to plea. I truly regret going with this law firm, and I'm sure I would have been far better off using a $2,000 attorny instead of paying $9,000 to this firm.

These guys handled my DUI like true professionals and they won my DMV hearing and saved my drivers license!! I recommend them to anyone who gets busted for DUI.

This was a "very good." Firm. They did exactly what they said they would do, which is more than I can say about other lawyers I've known. Overall, I was happy with how they handled my DUI.

The Kavinoky Law Firm handled my possession case in Aug. 08 and did a great job. My attorney was always available to answer my questions or give me an update on my case. Anyone who gets arrested should call them.

After paying a very large retainer fee I thought I'd at least get to meet the attorney representing me. Nope, the only attorney I met was the attorney this firm contracted my work out to. I would never recommend this firm to anyone. In my opinion you'll spend a ton of money and gain nothing but debt.

Darren and his firm were very helpful. They took my case all the way to trial and won! These guys really know what they're doing. I totally recommend calling them if you need a criminal lawyer.

Dedicated Professionals

I have interned at the Kavinoky Law Firm for most of the summer of 2006. I see the amount of time, energy and sweat that is poured into every client's case that the firm takes on. The firm defends mostly alcohol and drug related cases, but routinely represents those accused of domestic violence and federal crimes, as well. PROS: Experienced law firm, many succesful cases, and very professional.
CONS: May be out of price range for some clients.
