Towson Place has gone several transformations in the past few decades and I think they've finally hit on one that works. This is a two-sided strip mall of mostly discount stores---good one-stop shopping for clothing and housewares if you want to save money.
Marshall's, Toys R Us, and Hermann's have been there a long time. Newer stores include TJ Maxx, Filene's Basement, DSW shoe outlet (great!), Bed Bath & Beyond, and Michael's crafts. There's also a Target and a Superfresh grocery store, plus some other smallers stores.
There's not a whole to choose from as far as dining but Einstein Bagels is good and Red Robin has great burgers and fries.
Oh, there's also a Walmart but I avoid it like the plague.
There's lots of parking but you won't find a spot close to the stores during peak shopping hours.
