This wash goes for quite a ways and there are different park areas along about a 2 mile stretch. The playground is up to date and well used. The volleyball courts are usable, but the sand is packed and not friendly on the feet. You will also need to bring your own net and see if you can get it to work with their equipment. You don't have to worry about the kids much, though, since being in the wash places them pretty far away from most traffic. I hear there is a 9 hole disc golf course here too that stretches across the wash, but I have not played it yet.
PROS: In the bottom of a wash, disc golf course
CONS: Volleyball courts leave something to be desired
