There's a large variety of food and given the quality, the prices are quite reasonable. I go here at least once a week since I work close by.

I can't imagine some of the low rankings this place has gotten due to poor service. I can only think that the customers were rude or obnoxious. I've chatted with the manager/owner on a few occasions, and she seems very friendly, and I've never had any issues with the staff.

We visited this restaurant with family, and we had very bad behavior with the so called manager/owner... she was very arrogant and rude with customers...

Not only the taste I expected good behavior with the customers, also she was telling that she have lots of customers if you don??t come again.... that is very ridiculous....

If you don't mind being served by waitresses that seem to hate you this is the place for you. The food is pretty good but the service is horrible. My girl and I actually got into an argument with a mean older waitress about what we ordered and the waitress would not leave us alone claiming that we were wrong. It got to the point where we had to ask for the check and get out of there before it got worse.
I don't know who owns this restaurant but in this economy you might want to choose your staff better.

Though the name might sound odd to someone who hears 'derm' and thinks 'skin' - this restaurant is a local treasure. As noted in other reviews, the seating is unusual and cozy - the table is low and your feet go down into a pit below the table - hard to describe but very intimate and comfortable in practice.

I've loved the rainbow of curries I've had here: red, green, yellow, and I'm a sucker for the Mussaman curry. For appetizers the Fish Cakes and Egg Rolls are favorites; for a salad we like the Larb Khai.

I picked this place at random and found it had great food. The seating is interesting (there are no back-rests, so flexible people would probably have the best experience). The food was great and made spicy to order. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are friendly. Prices were pretty standard.

Try a Thai Iced-Tea, they're wonderful!

Great food with a wide range of spiciness to suit the customers' taste. The spice condiments are fresh and offer several flavors of hot for those that like it very spicy.
The quality of the seafood is exceptional considering the relatively low cost.
The dinner atmosphere is cozy and the seating style is quite unique.

Seriously, I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants here in Portland...and Thai Derm is the best! It used to be called Singha Thai, but the owner sold it to the head chef! There is Traditional Thai style seating here which is good for groups if you reserve ahead. It is also romantic for dates, too. They have this Northern Thai dish called Khoi Soy which is near to impossible to find anywhere. It's a curry dish with rice noodles, chicken, and fried noodles on top!

PROS: Great ambiance, and incredible food!
CONS: NONE!!
