Poenitske Flooring and Remodeling

This is called a remodeling store but it is mostly filled with high quality solid wood furniture. Many of the items are hand crafted pieces made by the hands of Amish crafsmen (and maybe women, who knows). I searched all over St Louis and didn't find any other store that sells solid wood Amish furniture. Prices are a bit high, but you definitely get what you pay for. The solid oak furniture will last a lifetime and beyond if you care for it. The folks who run it are great - they gave me a discount even though i had just missed the sale. Parking is easily available.
