McArthur's Bakery

We recently ordered our wedding cake from McArthur's Bakery. While the cake was delicious, two tiers collapsed while being cut by the professional staff at our wedding location. We were lucky that we had ordered two "kitchen" cakes and that some confirmed guests did not show, or we would not have had enough cake. Our top tier, the anniversary cake, was also not able to be eaten. We called the bakery the week after the wedding and complained, we were not mean at all. We simply wanted to know the reason our cake collapsed. The person we spoke with never offered to refund our fee, or even apologized. They only wanted to know who cut the cake, as if they were trying to pass off blame. We were told that they were going to investigate and get back to us. However, our location, to date has not heard from them and neither have we. We also sent an e-mail asking about the issue and asking to be contacted by a manager. Again, no response. We are extremely upset with the complete lack of responsibility on the their part, and for the poor customer service.

McArthur's has pretty good doughnuts, but what I have known them for is their wedding cakes. They make beautiful and delicious wedding cakes. If you are in need of a cake for any occassion, I suggest trying one of theirs. They have many different designs to choose from and will work with you if you want something a little different.
