EUROPA

Both of the women in the store seemed to be watching me like hawks as I picked out a few items. Then, when they came to just under (by $1) their "$10 debit/credit minimum" (which, by the way, is against the agreement that all retailers have with VISA and Mastercard, who prohibit a "credit card minimum") they refused to accept my debit card. They told me with great sarcasm that I would have to pick some more things out, and then both of them looked as though their eyes were about to pop out when I told them I would just be leaving without the items. It's too bad...I frequent the yarn store next door and I could see myself popping in to buy things at Europa as well when I go yarn shopping, but I won't now.

I wasn't going to report them to VISA, MasterCard, or leave a bad review for them online until they both sneered at me when I told them, on my way out, that their policy was in violation of their merchant agreements with their credit card processors. At that point, eh, I think other people should know what sort of shabby treatment you might get if you venture into this store.

I love europa lots...when you go their you should also check out Zaytoon int. market just a few doars down.... they also have a nice deli ..mid-eastern ...I buy my groceries at Europa and my fruit at zaytoon they both have good prices ....it realy works out...

Food is imported from all over the Europe. The selection of cheeses and cold cuts are incredible, but most important quality and prices are unbelievable. When it comes to sweets you can get the best cakes and chocolates in the world there. And home made food... Oh my God! You have to try it yourself. Service is great! You going to love it.
