Cuco's IS real Mexican. Born & raised in L.A., My taste buds have been brutilized by "White Bread-Attempts" in the preparation of true Mexican quisine here in Columbus. Gracias y el gusto es mio to partake in the blessing this Los Angelean calls Cuco's Market & Taqueria.
From the best Fish Tacos east of Ensenada to authentic Carne Asada, This is the only place in Columbus to eat Mexican. I've tried ALL the rest and Cuco's is the BEST!!!

I first went to Cuco's shortly after it first opened. I was in the Verizon phone store and when I finished I noticed Cuco's and decided to check it out. When I first walked in the aroma hit me and I felt I was in Mexico.
That night my wife and I went there for dinner and it was perfect. We have been going back weekly for dinner since. I also stop in for lunch on a weekly basis too.
Great food at a great price. Hard to say which item on the menu I like the best as everything I have there is at the top of my list.

A combination Mexican market, restaurant and Taqueria, Cuco's serves authentic margaritas (not sour mix and tequila). A salsa bar can meet your spice needs and the food is fantastic and inexpensive. I had rellenos and tamales and they were fantastic!
PROS: Wonderful food, fast service, PERFECT margaritas!
CONS: Bright lights make the restaurant less than cozy
