Tempe Town Lake

If something's going on in Tempe on the weekend, it's probably being held here. Lot's of space, it's a good-sized park on Tempe Town Lake, which is definitely a man-made looking lake, but it's still good to see water. For kids there's a splashpark too. There's tons of paths for walking/jogging, biking, skating around the lake to get a good workout. Boats can be rented too. You can go on a lake cruise, or rent a kayak or paddleboat for a good workout or a casual float.

PROS: Lots of activities all in one park
CONS: Would prefer more shade
