Cabinet Refacing is a time and cost effective means of transforming tired and dated cabinetry into an exciting new funtional space without the cost and disruption associated with a complete tearout.

Did work as promised, when promised

by abcs

This is a very good company, and we selected this amongst a few that we screened. We liked the smallness and the less-upscale look of their offices and the gentle, low-pressure customer service of their salesperson. They sent out an estimator to make sure that all of their measurements were correct, and they got all except one correct, but informed us of such promptly: we had to contact them again to schedule their return visit. We also had a microwave to insert, which their installers were grousing about doing, particularly when problems developed, and were trying to get me to get the resaler to make things right, which is one of the reasons for taking off a star. The other is that when we reported that the microwave wasn't level (stripped the screw), the person claimed to have put screws in the side and couldn't do anything more, both of which were false. However, he willingly came out and made things right. The installers showed up on time and finished on time, and the only problem has been with one of the cabinet door hinges, that because the screw didn't "take," so we'll need to periodically screw it back in as long as we have it. The refacing as well as the new cabinetry look terrific and have added usefulness to our kitchen.

Pros: Gentle presale, listens to customer, virtually all quality workmanship, non-intimidating showroom

Cons: Installer wanted to offload part of contracted job on a whim, minor install problems
