Tobinworld in Glendale is a non-profit school for children and young adults with behavior and learning problems. This school accepts students age 5-22 and aims to have students educated in regular public school programs or be involved in a competitive or sheltered work opportunity. Tobinworld is certified by the California Department of Education and has been around since 1977 brought around by Judith Weber whose son was autistic. All teachers at Tobinworld are credentialed and the school also has licensed clinicians who provide counseling and speech and language therapy when needed. There are two separate programs available at Tobinworld: one for severely emotionally disturbed students and another focusing on autistic or developmentally delayed students.
