Rad is located on Bernard Street, next to an Auto Zone and across the street from an elementary school. This is my number one choice for thrift store shopping. The store is large and crammed full of goodies. It is often messy but that's because so many people shop at this store, that it gets messy as soon as they clean it up. All of their books are half off ALL the time, this makes their mass market size paperback books only 13 cents, and the other books are priced different prices. You can get toddler clothing for usually under a dollar. They also have toys that are priced pretty good as well. But my favorite time to go to Rad is on Saturday mornings where EVERYTHING in the store is 30 to 50 percent off. Everything under a dollar is 50 percent off and anything over a dollar is 30 percent off. I have walked away with bags and bags of clothing/toys/books for a very low price. The staff is helpful if you have a question, and they have 3 registers. On Saturday, they usually have 3 registers open and during the rest of the week they have 2 open. I recommend going here on Saturdays and any other time of the week. You'll be sure to find something. You just have to wade through all the stuff to find the treasure!
