This club is WAY overpriced! Come get a tour around 4 or 5pm or later. You'll realize that the whole club turns into a kid's playground and daycare center! The Point Spa is also pretty expensive. There are about 8 or 9 spas in that area that offer more services at less cost to you. I also truely believe that if you are paying these high $$$ montly dues because there is less volume and traffic then you are highly mistaken! It gets just as crowded here as it does at a 24 or LA fitness.

Bottom line: Save your $$$. Join the LA at cornelius pass, or the 24 Super Sport at 158th ave. You will pay HALF the monthly dues and you can use the $$$ you save at one of the other fine spas in the area, if that's your thing.

Totally disorganized! Front office staff and management don't communicate to the other staff members at the club. Even their employees say so. Managment and front staff are sometimes rude, difficult, and belittling. They are only concerned on how to get another nickel from you. That being said the club facilities are very nice. Only wish it was the full package!

I had a massage there. It was good. It would have been better if she could have given me a harder massage. She didn't seem very strong. The place was very relaxing.

Have been a member since it opened and love it! It is great for families with kids, my boys really enjoy the day care, they have very nice and experience people working with the kids, they read a and also do a lot of art, and puzzles. No tv in the day care, which is very good.Karina

Rude and indifferent management and administration.

When I asked about changing the status of my membership, the young woman in membership could not answer my question....and never could. Six months later after being put off by her

I've been a member since the beginning and it has remained a great place to get a workout. Secure lockers, great weight room, variety of great classes. Jodi and Nicole are fun and don't waste time getting right down to working participants to the max.

The Pointe Spa has a huge variety of services, with highly qualified therapists.

Three pools, two indoor open all year. My daughter grew up there, learning to swim with her cousins.

Running track, enormous basketball gym, rock climbing wall, and more. Nice restaurant, great place for hungry kids to relax an socialize.

Well worth it!

I agree with the reviewsthat the club is disorganized . The manager of the club is the worst. I have had several dealings with her. Her name is Michal and she is rude and doesn't seem to care about customer service and treats members and employees badly. The club itself is wonderful. They just need a new manager.

Cons: Management/ front office is totally disorganized!

I've been a member for 4 yrs and even though there ARE kids running around, the claims by MSJ2 are not accurate.

The machines are ALWAYS in excellent shape and not crammed. Obviously there are certain ??prime? times when it is harder to find an empty spot but if you wait 10-15 mins, you'll most likely get what you want. The group fitness classes are TOP notch, and the Personal Trainers are fantastic. They are not only knowledgeable, but unlike other clubs, don't try to push supplements. I was a member (for a short period) of 24hr fitness and it was HORRBLE. The people in the front desk will do ANYTHING to get you to sign up, even use your personal phone # to ask you out to dinner.
I couldn't be happier with this gym. I absolutely love it, with running kids and all. (PS: I have no kids)

i paid for a service, worth more than $100 plus the tips ---- the aesthetician, did not provide a robe, and had me lie down on this yellow sheet that i know has not been changed. At the end of waxing session, she put cream on top of the dirty sheet, and asked me just to whip it up with my fingers to apply to my skin. All the while while she was waxing me, I looked up the ceiling and saw cobwebs. The unsanitary appeal laying down on a sheet that the person could have easily changed before she let me in, made me feel unwelcome. I should have made a big deal, but I didn't --- I just told myself never to return!

Pros: Example: best croissants in town

Cons: sheets and linen has dirt marks, cobwebs on ceiling

If you don't mind children running around unattended, machines crammed together and in disrepair, and highschool-age staff that seems to turnover weekly, then this is the place for you. Oh, did I mention they are also the highest-priced club in town? Might be fine if you have a family, lots of disposable income, and just want to drop the kids off for an afternoon -- but it is FAR from being a serious "athletic club."

I booked my daughters 10 Birthday party at Hawthorn Farms under the expectation that the staff would run the party. At least that is what they advertised they do and for the money I thought it would be worth it. We had more than 10 kids in the pool with Wally so we were charged the extra $$ for the extra necessary lifeguard. I understood and appreciated that. But there was only one lifeguard on duty, not two--- and at about half way through the party, he even left never to return. There were a few of us parents watching and being social. Perhaps the lifeguard boy thought that was good enough. Then, when the kids went the dining area to do food, gifts & cake, the same boys that were overseeing our party dropped off the food we ordered in advance and left. They showed up again at the end and helped box up the left over food. So basically, if you don't mind doing all your own serving and bussing this might not bother you. It bothered me because besides being extremely expensive all I got was a Were awfully sorry that this happened...we'll be sure to talk to the boys who were working your party when I reported it.
I will never book a party there again. It is a beautiful facility and I was impressed with it, but our service did not match the surroundings or the cost.

I was happy to see that they have free karate- this is a huge value for me and gets my kids involved in sports (and stay active during the rainy months). I do also like the other classes- and Tyler and Erin are my favorite! They have loads of fun games for the kids and my kids love going- they are great role models. I do like the spa, of course- and it is nice to be able to drop the kids off in the childcare when i have a treatment... especially if my husband is working out at the time!
I would recommend this club to others- i do like Heidi in the membership. She is so great!
Thanks!

We have been members at HFAC for over 5 years and our kids have basically grown up there. The group classes are all free and wonderful, and the individual TV screens on the cardio equipment really helps me get through my workout. My kids started in childcare (great staff!) and now regularly attend the day camps, swim lessons, rock climbing, and now FREE Tae Kwon Do. As a mom I truely appreciate having a gym that not only is upscale, but family friendly. HFAC has probably saved my sanity.

Pros: Youth Classes, Group Classes, Spa and Bistro at the club!

Cons: Replaced golf simulator with a Pilates studio

The club is a complete resort. You can do everything under one roof - work out, take a class, use the rock wall, play squash or basketball, swim in one of the 3 pools, eat in the bistro, relax in the spa, or just hang out with you family by the outdoor pool. The staff are excellent and always happy to see you, and because it's not over crowded like other clubs, they know you by name. The children have plenty of options to keep them busy and their summer camps are great value. I have enjoyed every minute of my time there.

This place is amazing. It feels so luxurious just being there. It's got everything you could want to workout, and a fantastic spa right inside! My kids love it, we can play together in the pool or gym, or I drop them off and enjoy some time by myself. It's super comfortable, and everyone is really friendly. I can't recommend it highly enough.
