I wrote a negative review of Animal Care & Control recently. I'm the guy who wrote about bringing in a male cat who was euthanized. I also wrote a letter to AC&C. I got as response from an administrator who assured me my experience was not typical, she looked into my complaint and took action. In short - these folks are all right. She apologized for my incident and I feel much better about the organization. My apologies if I have misdirected or misinformed anyone. These folks really do care. Sincerely, Michael

They provide excellent service to all the animals in the san francisco area. Animals that are unloved and unwanted. This is a kill shelter so please before you surrender your animal try to find it a home before coming to surrender them here. If they are not adopted or adoptable.. they will kill the animal.

MY STEPMOTHER WORKS AT ACC AND SHE LOVES IT. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND THEY TAKE REALLY GOOD CARE OF YOUR PETS. THEY HAVE GREAT CLASSES FOR PET TRAINING AND EVEN PET CLUBS..

PROS: OPEN EARLY AND ALWAYS FRIENDLY, STAFF REALLY LOVES YOUR PETS
CONS: SOMETIMES THE 24HOURS LINE IS BUSY ..
