Beautiful Gowns

by Annie D. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,119

I originally visited this store "just to look" and ended up purchasing the gown of my dreams!! The staff members were so helpful and really made the experience wonderful. There is a runway surrounded by mirrors in the middle of the store, and it was so much fun to walk it and really see how the gowns looked! They sell more upscale designer gowns, so they aren't cheap but well worth it.

Nice place

by Robin P. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,781

This is a nice bridal salon, yet it didn't have the selection I needed. I was looking for a mermaid style gown and a veil also and I couldn't find anything close to what I wanted.

Run

One bridal gown, five bridesmaids dresses. Five of the six in the bridal party had measurements taken at LBE and not a single measurement fit! They were HUGE! No alterations for bridesmaid dresses offered. Required alterations cost half the price of the dress. Fortunately, as MOB, I paid for the dresses and told the girls to keep them. In 30 years they would be able to say that they can still wear their bridesmaid dress from 2009.

Cons: not a measurement fit

Other bridal shops pale in comparison!

by story9

I can not even begin to say enough wonderful things about this store, the staff, the quality and variety of dresses, veils, accessories, and designers.

1 - I went in a few times without an appt and they took me in with open arms and let me float around freely. Even though they were all busy, they would poke their heads in when they could to see if they could help!

2 - I went in a few times with appointments and it was even MORE amazing. ALL of the ladies were helpful and all were involved. Even the woman at the front desk knew more about wedding gowns than some of the sales staff at some other stores (and I had been to A LOT of stores at that point)

3 - They have a huge selection of gowns and accessories. Various colors, sizes, and styles.

4 - I probably met EVERY single staff member and they were ALL truly impressive. Each in a different way. Each incredibly polite and knowledgable.

5 - And in the end, after all the help and all the running around that they did, I found my dress elsewhere (it was unfortunately a designer they did not carry) and they were so gracious and wonderful. I would have kicked me out of their store by then!!!

6 - They have the BEST store hours and are so wonderful to you, no matter what your budget or how many times you go in.

This is a full service and incredible store and the ONLY bridal shop that I genuinely had a PLEASANT experience in over and over again. This is not to say that other places were bad, but La Belle Elaine's makes all the others pale in comparison. I only wish that they carried the gown I ended up with.

Pros: FABULOUS SHOP, INCREDIBLE STAFF!!!!

Cons: Not a single one!

Incredible Experience

by lizzyhat

Shopping for a wedding dress is a highly emotional and exciting event for any bride. The entire stafff here understands this and works closely with you to ensure you have the best possible expereince. Whatever your budget or personal style, they are there to help you find "the perfect one". The shopping expereince is unmatched by anyother bridal location in Seattle. With a long runway (mirrors on all sides) and a natural light room (for us beach brides) and large fittign rooms, they do all they can to make the entire event perfect. I can not say enough wonderful things about this location and staff - they are incredible.

Pros: Personalized customer service, attention to detail, staff

Very impressive bridal store

by AgnesAlbert

My boyfriend has not popped the question yet (I am keeping my fingers crossed) but I went with my friend Valerie to La Belle. Both she and I am impressed by how "together" this bridal shop is - from the decor to the way the merchandise was displayed to the attitude of the sales staff. We could not find one thing we can be critical about (....oh, yes, the garage parking is expensive). I am definitely going there when I am ready. And that runway is very cool.

Pros: ambience, selections, service

Cons: parking

Best in Seattle! Gorgeous Dresses, Exceptional Service, & a Runway for brides to model dresses!

by MattandLauren

I went to numerous bridal shops all over Seattle & not a single one compared to La Belle Elaine's Bridal. Their customer service is impecable, their dress selction is outstanding & their store is one of a kind w/ a full lit-up runway for any bride to model dresses for her friends & family! La Belle Elanie's staff made my wedding dress shopping experience unforgetable. With their expertise & knowledge, they helped me customize the most stunning wedding dress, find the perfect bridesmaid dresses, & even referred me to a fabulous local jeweler. If you are looking for your dream wedding dress & an experience that makes you feel like a princess, there is no other place better to go than La Belle Elaine's!

Pros: Friendly service, Extensive selection, Gorgeous store

Cons: Nothing!

They really do Care!

by Wed4Ever

I just read the last two reviews and I am horrified! I cannot imagine how someone could leave La Belle Elaine's with an opinion like that!
The staff at La Belle Elaine?s has a combined history of over 45 years helping women find the dress of their dreams. The women working with you really love their job and take your happiness very personally and seriously. Nothing they say or do is fake, or said under false pretenses simply to "make the sale". Yes they work on commission, but everyone needs to be able to put food on the table. What's wrong with making money doing something you love, that also contributes to someone else's happiness?
There are some reviews of over "perkiness". These girls are in the wedding industry, that means they are happy energetic women; it's just part of the trade. One of the defining characteristics of being a bridal stylist. Never doubt what these women are telling you, they are honest, hard working, and here to make women's wedding dreams reality with the years of hard work and knowledge they have acquired over the years.
I wouldn't trust my wedding to anyone else!
Thank you La Belle Eleaine's!

Pros: Great Service, Great Selection, Unique Shopping Experience

Good customer services, full range of wedding dresses & prices!

by vietgirl

I worked with Stacey Ahlgrim, the store manager. I thought she was professional, honest and sincere. I wanted a simple dress with rich fabric. I had came in 3 times and always worked with Stacey. She was very patient and did not rush me on making a purchase. I ended up buying an Anne Barge La Fleur dress. It was more than my budget but not too outrageous. The dress was glamourous though! My other favorite designers there were Sally Crew and especially Jim Helm. I went to all the bridal stores; Bridal Garden, Something Blue (in La Conner), La Belle Reve, Bellevue Bridal Boutique, I Do Bridal and Princess Bride. I ended up going back to La Belle Elaine's because they had the look I wanted and a lot wider range of dresses/prices. Buying a wedding dress is an emotional purchase. Before you go shopping; really know what shapes look good on you, be persistent so you get appointments scheduled (go Mondays, less crowd), if you don't like the sales asscoiate you get, ask for someone else. If you run into an issue, then take the emotion out and ask for help; you'd be amazed. I'm glad I came back and bought a dress at La Belle Elaine's.

Pros: Variety of dress styles, shapes, prices

Cons: Parking, lots of traffic at the intersection on Denny Way

Its like they all overdosed on percocet..awful, awful, place to shop

by wifey86

Frist of all, let me start by saying that the people at La Belle Elaines have taken all the joy out of finding my perfect gown. There is no way in hell I would ever refer anyone to shop there. When I walked in it was like a sea of black, there were like 6 sales people just standing at the front counter, and by the way none of them said hello to me. When I walked to the counter..still no hello, just a cold "do you have an appointment?" It made me cringe. They shoved a piece of paper at me and told me to fill it out and someone would be with me shortly. The form is pretty much stating in writing how much you want to spend on your gown and if you are wanting to buy that day, basically if you check anything below $2,000 the associates there dont think you are worth their time. When I met with my associate I thought she was so rude. She took me, my mom, and my MOH to our dressing room, which was so gross I almost turned around and walked out. It was dusty, the lighting was like out of a creepy movie, stains all over the carpet, and paint was coming off the wall. Then , we went out to search for gowns..she directed me to a section of dresses that would suit my budget, they were nothing of what I was expecting. I flipped a few out to try on..the runway is awesome, pretty much the only thing worth my time. While I was on the runway though, a woman by the name of Sarah Jean came out. At first she seemed nice, but as she kept talking I just wanted to ask how many percocets she had taken that morning. She is a babbling blob of fake perkiness and it really annoyed me. She kept forceing me to give all these gowns a chance, even though they were not what I wanted. She pressured me into buying a gown that day, which I didnt want to do. Finally, I just went into my fitting room and was so flustered with fake happiness from all the associates I just had to leave. The service was so terrible. Sarah Jean should be fired and she should consider a career change.

Pros: If you have money, there are beautiful gowns..if you dont, your stuck with cheap Sally Crew imitation prom dresses.

Cons: Sarah Jean is terrible, they try to be perky but they really dont care, they just want your money, they really dont care

Don't waste your time or money

by nickypicky

Ok, I am going to make this short and simple because I am so upset about the service I got from this hole in the wall boutique. Number one, they need to clean the place, espeacially if people are willing to spend up to $7k on their wedding dress which I did end up spending at another store. Second they should hire some people who give a damn about their clients, but I suppose that would be hard to do espeacially when the owner doesnt seem to care to much about what is going on. Third, I think the whole business would be better if someone would fire SaraJean. She has horrible breath, annoying voice, will not listen to a thing you have to say, and thinks just because she comes from back east and has worked in the field for 10 years she knows everything about weddings. They tried to get me to try on all of these Sally Crew gowns, apparently she is an "in-house designer". As I was walking around the store I couldnt help but notice how so many of these Sally Crew gowns looked like complete knock-offs from Badgley, Rivini, Alvina Valenta, and Anne Barge. Oh, and did I mention how these gowns were like prom gowns? The few I did try on fit horribly and were poorly made, sorry but I am not going to waste money on a gown like that. All I can say is ladies, do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere, don't give your money to La Belle Elaine's Bridal salon.

Pros: I have nothing nice to say about this place

Cons: Ugly customer service, horrible sales people, snotty owner

Great Customer Service

by kirklandgal

I found the dress of my dreams at another bridal shop but was treated so poorly that I refused to give them my business. I had heard that La Belle Elaines had beautiful dresses (which they do) so I went there hoping that they would have the dress that I was looking for. My sales woman Tanida helped me try on numerous gorgeous dresses but I was still hooked on that one from the prior shop. When I told her about it, she called the manufacturer and arranged to have the dress that I wanted shipped to them special order. They even sold it to me for $500 less than the the other boutique was selling it for. I am so pleased with the service that I received and the experience that I had with La Belle Elaines. I would recommend it to anyone.
P.S. Ask for Tanida, she is great!

Pros: great service, beautiful dresses

Cons: none

Getting confirmed for an appt is like getting a call from the car dealership

by maddysmama

I was excited to come in and check this place out. I wanted to reschedule my appointment and the girl that was confirming appointments simply stated, "if you cancel your appointment, I don't know when we'll be able to reschedule it, we have a wait list and can not book you for some time." I should have read through the lines of hard close when I was on the phone, but nonetheless I wanted to start shopping for my gown, so I forced myself to make it there. I got there and there were 4 or 5 new sales girls at the front desk. It wasn't like hi how are you, it was fill out this form and somebody will be with you. Not bad, just not pleasant? I told my sales lady that I wanted to buy a dress, but I needed to wait until my cousin MOH was going to be able to see it as she is my second pair of eyes. She kept leaving to attend to another girl, which was kind of irritating and I just got this feeling like I was inconveniencing them for being there. So for wanting to buy a $7k dress, I think I'll be purchasing it elsewhere. No thanks for coming in or have a good day. It was just another run of the mill for them, which is weird when there dresses on average run around $3k+

Pros: Badgley Mischka and Ines di Santo

Cons: Customer Service, Parking, Customer Service, did I say that already?

My wedding dress nightmare at La Belle Elaine's!!! Shop elsewhere!

by hope3333333

I had the WORST experience at La Belle Elaine's! I was stupid enough to spend over $4,000 on my dress here. They lied and said they could alter it, because I was concerned when I bought it. When it came in, it could not be altered where I wanted it- the salesgirl told me whatever I wanted to hear so I would buy it.

They have an "in-house" designer Sally Crew, and the dress was badly made. The zipper in the back was broken, and it was sewed an inch off and didn't match up. They did some alterations, but the dress still didn't look right. I even had to sew the beading on myself before my wedding because some of it was falling off! The clasp was missing so my dress was unzipped in photos on my wedding day!! Like a cheap prom dress! Poorly made. Nobody took responsibility for the situation.
The sales rep told me they would "throw in the alterations" when I bought the dress only when I went in for my fitting they were going to charge me, until I showed them MY COPY of the contract. They had a different contract in their system!!!

I was in tears, the dress didn't fit right, and it shows in all my pictures. What a WASTE of money and stress. Everything else about my wedding was beautiful, but the dress was AWFUL because of La Belle Elaine's.
The sales rep and manager could've made it right, but they didn't and it was too late. My wedding was coming up within weeks. The seamstress didn't speak English and nobody was trying to fix the situation. I finally just took my dress with me, unfinished and paid a lot of money somewhere else for alterations, because the La Belle Elaine manager kept telling me it fit-- only it was FALLING OFF OF ME.
I've talked to others who had the same experience. You expect to get better service when you pay $4,000 for a wedding dress. That's not true here. They just want to get their commission and forget about the customer.

Save your time and money, and go elsewhere to enjoy your dress experience!!!!

Pros: Horrible customer service here made everything else with wedding seem dreamy

Cons: Shady promises/contract, just want commission and forget customer service

Okay customer experience, terrible seamstresses

by whatisvermillion

Buying a dress here was a good experience. The seamstresses were terrible - I had to communicate my request through the daughter of the non-english speaking seamstress. The alterations were done incorrectly and I was told they were unable to fix them. They made mistakes on both my dress and my shawl and were unwilling to refund any of what I paid for them.

Don't waste your time or money

by ashfay

If you have the budget to shop at La Belle Elaine's ($2000-$6000), you may want to consider finding a custom dress maker. La Belle Elaine's seemed way overpriced and there's a really snotty vibe at this place. It's also strange that their gowns are thousands of dollars but the dressing rooms were not elegant at all--I felt a bit uncomfortable in the dressing room. It had dirty (stained) carpet, and it had a window which seemed odd for a dressing room--had to go behind a curtain to put the dresses on. I did find one gown that I liked, but it was over $4000. I really could not bring myself to pay that much for a dress I would wear for 8 hours. The irritating thing is that I was told if I bought it that day, on the spot, I would get a 10% discount. But only if I bought it that day. That is just ridiculous--if they could give me the discount that day, then they should be able to give me the discount in a week or a month. They do have a really cool "runway" where you can envision yourself walking down the aisle!

Pros: they carry good designers--Jim Hjelm, Priscilla of Boston, Rivini, etc.

Cons: high prices, sales pressure

Manager Stacey: Excellent Customer Service

by Joanna2008

After checking out 7 bridal stores, I found the perfect gown at La Belle Elaine's Bridal. I would highly recommend this store and would specifically like to commend (and sincerely thank) it?s store manager, Stacey Ahlgrim, who is solely responsible for my amazing experience.

When my dress came in from the designer, there was a gown flaw due to the design and the way the dress fit on my body. Immediately, I was emotional. The dress was expensive and I expected perfection. I was also scared because I had heard horror stories from friends who had awful experiences at their respective bridal shops.

When Stacey assed the situation, she was extremely professional and very sympathetic. She reassured me that the alterations department would fix the flaw and that she would help. That?s exactly what happened. The dress is starting to look perfect and I cannot wait to wear it next month.

My experience could have been horrible, but Stacey handled the situation amazingly. She should be commended for her skills as a manager, which are extremely impressive.

In response to a commentary below left by a disgruntled customer that people should ?watch out? for Stacey because she called her daughter in law ?fat? ? that is ridiculous. I have worked with Stacey over the past several months and not once has she made me feel like I?m responsible for the gown flaw. I also can?t imagine someone as kind and skilled in this field as Stacey making such silly, amateurish comments. I wonder if the reviewer was the one having those thoughts, and venting her anger at her daughter-in-law?s weight issues by unfairly assigning her them to Stacey.

I?ve never worked with a more professional, compassionate, and responsive store manager. Any bride-to-be would be extremely lucky to work with Stacey, who cares tremendously for her customers and is willing to go to far lengths to assure that the bridal gown experience is a great one.

Pros: Gorgeous, top quality gowns; amazing selection; professional and caring store manager (Ahlgrim) and alterations personnel dedicated to highest customer service.

Best Bridal Salon Out There

by Jenny86

I went in with my mother to view some of the gowns, not planning to buy seeing as how my wedding is not until summer of 2009. However, once I went back with my sales consultant and started looking at the gowns, I thought that I just might find "the dress" of my dreams. Our fitting room was so elegant and large, much better compared to other salons in the area. My consultant showed me around and told me where I might find the style of gown I told her I had been looking for; I took her advice and soon after found myself trying on gown after gown. The runway is spectacular, you can see yourself walking in the gowns and picture yourself walking down the aisle. They also have a webcam so loved ones far away can share the moment as well, unfortunatly it was down when I went there, but that is alright because I didnt really have anyone far away to show. After I narrowed down my favorites to three, I tried them all on once again back to back and my sales consultant asked me questions my mom and I never would have thought of, like "can you sit down comfortably, do you feel like a bride or an expensive bridesmaid, can you picture walking down and seeing your fiance starring back at you in this gown", and "do you want to look at yourself in this dress in the wedding pictures that will be taken'. Needless to say, I bought my dress there and would reccomend it to every single bride out there! They really give you a great deal, and it's so much better than Cicada and Marisellas. Brides, get down to La Belle Elaine's bridal if you want an experience looking for your wedding gown, if you really don't care about your wedding, then go to a different salon. La Belle Elaine's is worth every penny and the service is outstanding! Thanks girls!

Pros: friendly staff, beautiful gowns, awesome fitting rooms, runway, it was an experience!

Cons: parking

Great Service, Beautful Dresses, Fabulous Experience

by seattlebride2009

I went to La Belle Elaines to try on dresses for my May 2009 wedding. The dresses were organized by price and my salesperson, Sherri, allowed me to browse the dresses as I pleased. I was then ushered into a beautiful fitting room with lots of space for my mom and bridesmaids. I tried on TONS of gowns and Sherri was very patient and she gave good advice without being too overbearing. The runway was a great way to view all of the dresses in different lights and even my dad was able to watch from the webcam. Sherri knew I had found another dress at a different store that I loved and she encouraged me to make sure each dress I liked could be "better" than the one I had seen and loved at another store. I did not end up buying my dress that first day but came back the next day with more bridesmaids and Sherri was kind enough to let me try on my favorites again. When I decided on a beautiful dress from there the staff was very meticulous about taking my measurements.

Overall, the dresses were beautiful, the staff was more than helpful, the environment is very glamorous. I have yet to receive my dress but I anticipate it will prove to be a good experience based on what has gone on thus far.

Pros: glamorous environment, helpful and attentive staff, variety of dresses

Cons: on the higher end of the price spectrum

Amazing Store, Great Customer Service

by seattle_bride

La Belle Elaine's was by far my favorite place to shop for my wedding gown. The store is amazing, it has a runway and huge dressing rooms, the sales staff was so helpful, they let me look through the dresses on my own and then once my consultant saw what I liked and knew my budget was $1500 she did a fabulous job of selecting dresses in similar styles within my budget. I ended up with a beautiful ball gown (which she actually recommended for me). My consultant was very fashionable, polite and never pushy. I go in to show my friends and family and get to put on the sample of my dress and walk the runway, I also have friends in California that logged on to their website and could see me over the webcam, how great is that? I would highly recommend La Belle Elaine's to anyone who wants to feel like a queen every time she walks through the front doors!

Pros: selection, customer service, runway

Cons: parking can be hard to find on the weekend

Don't Waste your time.

by beachlady

My daughter and I went to this Bridal store looking for a dress. As soon as we gave the saleslady a limit on what we would spend, she turned to ice. It was down hill after that. It was so very obvious she didn't want to help us because she knew her comission check wouldn't be much. If you have several thousands to spend, great, but we put a $1500 limit on ours and they didn't want our business. Most of the gals that work there are 20 somethings who are all quite upity. Was not a pleasant experience. Don't waste your time.

Watch out for the Manager Stacy!

by katesgold

My daughter-in-law bought her wedding dress here. Our saleslady was very helpful & pleasant. She ordered the dress in a larger size, given the obvious fact my daughter in law would loose weight, which she did. She had two fittings (which you have to pay extra for & we knew that) and at the second fitting 3 weeks before the wedding she told the lady (Stacy) the dress was too tight and she couldn't breathe. Stacy said not to worry, the material would "stretch." I didn't know satan "stretched." We pick the dress up and she tried it on at home, and we couldn't even get it zipped. Then the buttons started to pop off. In a panic, we called, took the dress down the next morning and the gals were very nice. Interesting side note, my daughter in law had been very sick since her last fitting, so the dress should have been TOO big. NOT. A different seamstress came in, said they would fix it and didn't charge. Stacy, calls my son the day before the wedding and told him that it wasn't their fault my daughter in law gained weight and got "fat." Yes, she said fat!! My son took issues with her tone and she said we were "lucky they were even fixing it since it was all our fault." Very rude lady, and she is the manager. When my daughter in law put the dress on for the wedding it was too big in the top, but fit everywhere else. The seamstress the day before didn't adjust the top, only the waist. Was this intentionally done by Stacy??? Makes us wonder. Bottom line, if you buy a dress for $3100, it best fit correctly. This one didn't. We had to use two sided tape to make certain the top stayed up. Nice sales ladies, but the manager Stacy was awful. Stacy needs to find a new line of work.

Pros: Sales lady was very nice and so were the receptionists.

Cons: The manager was rude & made us feel like awful.

Beautiful Dresses, Car Salesmen Like Service!

by surfsup77

Don't get me wrong, the dresses from La Belle Elaine really are spectacular! Unfortunately, the service stinks. La Belle Elaine was the first place that I began trying wedding dresses on and I specifically had a price limit of less than $1800, yet the woman helping me, kept pushing dresses on me that were $3000 and up. I guess when it comes to commission, you can't blame a girl for trying! After I fell in love with a dress that I tried on ($1850), she was pushing me to by the dress right then and there! Now, let me ask you...is it wise to purchase anything over $500 at the first place you go? A girl has to think about these things! I love the dress and honestly haven't found anything like it yet, but I will NOT buy my dress from La Belle Elaine because of the service. Beautiful dresses, creepy and pushy service! I would go there for ideas only.

Pros: Gorgeous dresses and fun ambience!

Cons: Stinky service. Pushy and creepy. No personality. Felt rushed.

Best bridal store in Western Washington!

by guccigirl888

This place is awesome! They have a runway to try on your dress and a webcam so my mother in LA could see me in my dress. I've been to 5 stores in the area and La Belle Elaine's has by far the biggest selection. And the bridal consultants are very friendly and helpful. Me and my sister had so much fun there, we are going to tell everyone to shop there.

Pros: selection, cool store, freindly, helfpul staff

Cons: none

Really fun place to shop: Good way to share the fun with long distance friends

by mentezari916

I think you get what you pay for. I went to several boutiques, and after 2 trips to "La Belle Elaine's" I found, "the dress". It was more than I preferred to pay (the dress was $1800), but my salesgirl (Lindsay) only showed me dresses in my price range - she was really good about mainly bringing me dresses that would stay in my $1200 or less budget. The fun part about the store is the runway and webcam - all my aunts got to watch me go down the runway in different dress options, so they were all able to share the experience even though they are all living in LA and I'm here shopping in Seattle. They had a wide selection of dresses $1500 and under, but as some other reviewers pointed out, very few under $1000. Nice designs, rich fabrics, lots of detail, definitely worth checking out!

Pros: Beautiful dresses, great ambience, fun buying experience

Cons: Very limited options below $1000 but reasonable selection below $1500

Spotty customer service, terrible for bridesmaid's dresses

by seattleite406

Although La Belle Elaine's presents itself as a high class place for brides and their maids to shop for dresses, their service is low-brow at best. My friend did not buy her wedding gown at this store, but we made an appointment and went to La Belle Elaine's in search of bridesmaid's dresses. After arriving for our appointment on time, we had to wait quite a while before a sales woman took us back to the bridesmaid's dress sample room. Not sure what the wait was for, as she immediately disappeared after that.

Once we had settled on a dress, another person came to take measurements of each bridesmaid. Based on those measurements and the dress manufacturer's size chart, they recommended certain sizes for each of us. Since our measurements had been taken by an "expert" we went with their recommendations. This proved to be a terrible mistake.

When the dresses finally arrived (on time, as quoted, I'll give them that), they were all absolutely huge, on each bridesmaid. The sales woman helping us was far less than accommodating in regards to how to rectify the situation. With plenty of time before the wedding to send the dresses back in exchange for more appropriate sizes, she basically refused that as a solution and just told us to get them altered, as "an alteration of half an inch would cost the same as an alteration of two inches." The dress cost me $190. The alterations cost me $94. I'm sure part of the problem lies in the manufacturer's size chart, and the apparent racket in the wedding-related dress and alterations industries. But the alterations cost on top of the incredibly rude service at La Belle Elaine's is more than unbearable. I would absolutely not recommend shopping here.

Have your dress made, it will be a much more affordable and pleasant experience!

Pros: Wide selection

Cons: Terrible service, highly unprofessional

Hit and Miss Service

by kmn

I have gone with two friends dress shopping there. The first time, the woman helping us (Stacy) was great. She was very helpful and it did not feel like she was being pushy, but rather offered great suggestion. My friend ended up getting her dress that day.

The second time I went was a completely different story. The sales woman was horrible. She did not listen at all to what the bride wanted and was looking for. Instead she would pull out expensive dresses (one was $6,000) and tried very hard to sell her on that dress. The sales woman was also flipping between us and another bride. My friend was so turned off that she bought her dress elsewhere.

Pros: Large Selection, beautiful layout, large fitting rooms

Cons: Parking, hard to get good service at busy times

Loved La Bella Elaines!

by jules8120

I purchased my wedding dress at La Bella Elaines and I had a wonderful experience and my dress was amazing. The atmosphere of the store is enchanting. There is a runaway in the middle of the store so you can view all angles of the dress youre trying on and can even see yourself walking in the dress. There is a huge selection of beautiful dresses! The staff is VERY knowledgeable and helpful when looking for that perfect dress. The only con for some is that the dresses are pretty pricey but the experience definitely makes it worth it. I highly recommend looking for wedding dresses at La Bella Elaines.

Pros: Huge Selection, Great Atmosphere, Knowledgeable StStaff

Cons: Pricey

Great, if you have no budget!

by starxlover20

The space is lovely - big selection of dresses (but very few under $1,000). They even have a runway. However, the lady who helped us definately lost interest in being nice after we stated our budget (1,000 or less). She pressured us to spend more and tried to get us to buy overpriced veils (haven't even bought a dress yet!). I get the feeling that if you have a large budget they'll treat you right. Also, don't bother telling them that a lot of sites still have Elaine's of Edmonds (what this place used to be). They don't care. Note: Samples are 50% off marked price but are all dirtly, pulled or otherwise ruined.

Pros: big space, runway

Cons: expensive, uncaring employees
