great mix 5 Star Rating - World class

Both my husband and I are very happy with their service! This is our first time buying modern furniture. Bought a couple of furniture pieces from Alchemy (sofa, dining table) and had their designer assist us with color choices and layouts. A nice collections and most items are reasonably priced (we are not ready to pay $10k for a couch). The furniture arrived as promised, but our condo was delayed for 2 months.

Pros: service
Cons: parking

Disappointed! But should have expected it... 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I visited Alchemy after friends suggested it and was sorely disappointed (dont tell my friends). Yes, the staff is nice like other reviewers said.

I ended up getting one of their sofas that has a simple sleek look (metal frame). It was not the most comfortable but I wanted it for a sitting room to look pretty. I have had it for less than a year and the sofa frame has already cracked and looks like it is smiling at me. I dont use it often nor am I over 160 lbs. I will never spend a couple of thousand for a sofa again from this location. I have never been happy with Chinese products made to look Italian and I wont be fooled again. I will just save for what I really want next time and not be fooled again. Buyer beware.

Pros: location
Cons: parking, poor quality product with minor use

Best experience I ever had in furniture store 5 Star Rating - World class

Best experience I ever had in furniture store,
if you dont want furniture that exactly same (like from mass produced IKEA or Crate & Barrel) as your neighbors or friends have, this is the place to be.
Highly educated people, and very friendly,
Hey, its not common to get serviced by Ivy League school educated people in any furniture store.

Pros: everything
Cons: nothing

Hungry Architect 5 Star Rating - World class

I bought a couch from Alchemy and I get compliments all the time when I have guests over! The color combination they suggested is totally nothing I thought I would EVER consider but it turned out so luvly and matches my wall colors~ They even lend me a couch when I was waiting for mine... Being a hungry architect I think they have great prices, quality and service! But I wish they had a store in LA since I will be moving soon...

Pros: service, price
Cons: parking

Great new addition to Belltown 5 Star Rating - World class

Its been a while since my husband and I visited Belltown and what a pleasant surprise! We were actually looking for our favorite store Ian when we stumbled upon Alchemy. From the outside we thought it will be another high priced, high attitude store, but dont judge a book by its cover! The staff were actually very friendly and non-pretentious. Though I'm no furniture guru, I just bought some furniture last year and I think Alchemy really have some very nice furniture pieces at fair prices. Also, how many stores in Seattle do you see a Koi pond in the store! Now I'm tempted to redo my living room with their furniture, after visiting them I feel my living room furniture is so "last season".

Pros: Trendy, Shopping Environment, Prices
Cons: Parking
