A+++ Service. A+++ Techs!

by Ryan E.

Great service! A+++. I've tried just about every other computer company in town. These guys know their stuff! My computer crashed 2 days before leaving on a business trip. A friend told me about the computer guy and said they were the place to go. I was skeptical because I had used other companies in the valley and my computer was worse off when I got it back then when I first took it in. I took it to the computer guy and they had it back in 24 hours (as promised) and it ran like a dream. Good job guys... you've got my business for life!

Computer Guy is a terrible place to bring your computer!

by K S.

I took my desktop to have it reformatted. They said it was an easy process that would take only 2 hours to complete. Well, it went downhill from there. It took over a week to get my computer back and once I did it was awful. My computer, other than occasionally running a bit slow never had any issues before taking it to them. Afterward it continuously froze and then crashed. I called asking for a refund because I received my computer back in worse condition than it was brought to them and they refused! They were very rude once I explained that something had gone wrong. They kept on saying that it wasn't their fault which is interesting because nothing else had been done to the computer once I brought it home. I would definitely suggest looking elsewhere if you need assistance with your computer or you could end up having to purchase a new one like me.

Fantastic -- highly recommended!

by Jane S.

Friendly crew, fast service, very knowledgeable. Have had repairs done and have purchased a new computer from The Computer Guy -- happy with all services. They got information on my general computer use (graphics, video editing, word processing) so they could make an informed recommendation on what I needed. Will return and do business with them again when the need arises. Recommend to anyone needing a new computer or computer repairs.

Quick, professional service

by Susan J.

Very fast turn around. I'm new to the area and a friend referred me to this company. I took my computer in because I kept getting the "blue screen of death." The tech explained the issue (viruses and spyware) and started work immediately. I got the computer back the next day and it's been running perfectly ever since. I purchased Norton Anti Virus and they installed it on my computer -- I haven't had any problems with viruses since then.

NEVER, EVER USE HIS SERVICES.

by Anonymous

The Computer Guy, a business run in Lewiston, Idaho, is one of the worst computer solutions businesses I have ever experienced. I was having difficulty running regular programs on my laptop and took it in for servicing there on the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, I was immediately bombarded by a rude man who tried to sell me things I didn't need or want, and tried to make me feel guilty and unintelligent when I insisted he only perform the functions I asked of him. I did however ask for a copy of Microsoft Office. When I received my computer from him the next day, he had downloaded Microsoft Office onto it, but when I got home, I realized he hadn't included the disk. I called and asked for it, and was told I must have misplaced it. Several weeks later, Windows put up an error screen that said I what I was running was NOT a genuine copy. I proceeded to take the computer to a different company, one that told me my registry was tampered with and the copy I was running was indeed stolen. (If the copy is put on more than three computers in one home, it it considered stolen. The Computer Guy was likely holding copies that he could download onto computers to make the money for the purchase of the disk without actually giving the disk.) When I called and explained this, I was told it was untrue. However, they did not pay for the repairs to my laptop, nor for the disk I never received.
