A C Transit

When I had training in the East Bay I would take AC transit from the bus terminal on 1st and mission and catch AC transit to Oakland. The bus ride was comfortable because I was early in the morning when rush hour was technically 2 hours away. Very cheap way to travel to the east bay.

AC Transit is the main public transportation in the east bay and north bay. Some of the buses are new and comfortable but the majority of needs TLC. Like other pucblic transportation, it runs on a schedule but rarely on time.

Your ticket to get around the east bay to the San Francisco bay area. It does not travel beyond San Francisco but it is the main public transportation in the Alameda, Contra Costa counties. The service has gotten better over the years but can be much improved for the public. Safety would be my main issue.
