I heard from a friend that I had to try the Mexican place over by my house, then my husband heard from a co-worker the same thing. A few more friends tried it and claimed that it was indeed true - that the food is crazy good. So one

This is a good hole in the wall (hidden gem) mexican restaurant in Lynnwood. The storefront give you little incentive to go in but the food will get you to come back. Seeing the 2 good reviews and in the mood for Mexican, we gave them a shot. Once we got inside, we were greeted by the owner in spanish even though we do not look like we can speak a lick of it. He was friendly to the point of being annoying but I know he means well. There were two other patrons at the counter in addition to just two other empty tables. Seems to be a very laid back place but the owner will make sure you are taken care of. We were given a basket a chips (seemed homemade) with salsa and were asked for our drink orders. We were told water, soda, horchata and juice is self serve. We ordered the chimichanga, a burrito and the enchilada. All which were very good and more than enough. The food hit the mark for not being greasy or heavy. The chicken filling for the items include onions, peppers, carrots and a light salsa, This is different from the norm as well as the guacamole which was more of an avocado salsa/salad and the cream sauce that was on the chimichanga, This made the food taste good and put it a step up from what you find elsewhere. The price is reasonable as our bill was less than $30 for the 3 items. Their menu isn't big but it does include some authentic mexican dishes (menudo, etc). I am looking forward to coming back to try his specialty, the seafood burrito.
