Studio Be : A Paul Mitchell Focus Salon

For the first year I lived in Fort Collins I had not found a stylist or salon that I felt comfortable with. Then I had my haircut by Beth at Studio Be and I finally found "the one"...that was almost 5 years ago! Beth always gives me the exact haircut I want and great tips on how to easily manage and style my hair at home. She also referred me to other services and I treated my friend to her first cut for her birthday which she loved! I have and will continue to recommend my friends to see Beth to get their hair done!

I just saw Darby this week for the first time. She was absolutely wonderful. I'm one of those people who doesn't really know what to ask for in a haircut or color yet gets really particular when it doesn't work out right. Darby looked at what my hair does naturally, made suggestions that worked with but improved my previous cut, and taught me a few tricks to help me style it best.

I think my search for a good hair stylist is complete. Thanks Darby!

You have to go here and ask for Ray!!! He is by far the best stylist because he's a great listener, and has talent and knowledge to back it up! I know when I go to see Ray, I'm going to get someone who can offer suggestions and has a great creative eye, but doesn't have an agenda to push, and just wants me to be happy with my hair! And I always am. I'm a lifer when it comes to this guy!

Also have to love Paul Mitchell products, after recently trying Bumble and Bumble again I can't wait to switch back, the value is amazing and they totally perform!

I've been going to this salon for a few years now for cut and color. Shelly is my stylist and she is fantastic!!! You can count on walking out of there happy, and if you're not you can be sure they will make it right. They are true professionals in every way. Fort Collins is so lucky to have Studio Be.

Wow, amazing! I went there skeptical of a Fort Collins salon, as I usually get my hair done in Denver / Boulder, but this place was everything a salon should be. The staff is professional, but welcoming and friendly.

I got my hair done by Beth, she is truly a great stylist. She knew my name, asked why I wanted the haircut in the photo I gave her (to ensure she understood what was important about the style to me) and gave me exactly what I asked for. The shampoo and conditioning was heavenly, scalp massage in a nice quiet room. As she cut my hair, she talked the process through, there were no surprises, and she also spent time to teach me how to style it afterward.

I usually pay about $90 for a cut. The cost for Beth (who is the owner) was $50 bucks! I am now a loyal Studio Be customer.

Can't say enough great things about Studio Be salon! When I moved to FC a couple years ago I had to find a new hair stylist, and went through two horrible cuts before discovering Beth. She has been my stylist ever since and my hair is cut exactly how I want it and my color is amazing. You also can't beat their prices! Overall, everyone in the salon is super friendly and welcoming. I am always greeted by the receptionist and offered a beverage while I wait. The salon overall has a great relaxed vibe to it. The decor is chic and modern. Great music is always playing in the background. I just have to say, you gotta try it yourself, trust me...you won't regret it.

My search for the perfect colorist and stylist is over!! Kari is perfect - she listened carefully to what I wanted and contributed her professional suggestions. The salon was also great, it was a little small for the amount of people that were being serviced but every client in there had completely different (but equally beautiful) hair. I loved, loved, loved Kari, but the salon as a whole is a friendly professional and talented place. I am actually looking forward to my next service.

This review is long over due... after searching for a suitable stylist for over a year, my search ended right here, with Kristin at Studio B. Not only is she an amazingly intuitive and trustworthy stylist, she is an artist with hair color. The rest of the staff was great too, not one pretentious caddy one in this place. I recommend ANY of the gals here, this is a very talent group of gals. I now live in Denver and drive up to Fort Collins to get my color and cuts, enough said.

I found Studio Be here on Insider Pages and went to their website to find out more about them. I discovered how affordable their prices are and I had to try them out. I got an all over color and cut from Jenny that turned out even better than I imagined. And best of all I can still aford to pay my rent after having my hair done! I'm definately pleased with my hair and I will be back soon! Thanks Jenny!!

If you are looking for a great hairdresser then look no further. I have been to a lot of salons in Fort Collins and my search is over. Ellen did an awesome job on my hair! She really gave me the best blonde I have EVER had. I have had so many compliments on my hair lately that I had to come back to where I was lucky enough to find her and write my own review. I have been going to Ellen now for almost a year and my hair is looking so healthy and shinny too. The fact that she takes evening appointments really works well with my schedule and I love atmosphere of the salon. Oh and they don't use heat just to speed the process up ( fry the back of your hair under the dryer). When I ask for a trim that is exactly what I get! No more chopping of these locks when I didn't ask for it. I Love my hair, thanks Ellen for being so good at what you do!

I am not surprised to see that this salon has such great reviews on citysearch. For years I've been absolutely frightened to try a new salon, but I was so tired of my former salon, who over processed me and didn't listen to what I wanted. Finally I decided to try someplace new and found StudioBe. Whitney did my color and gave me beautiful and natural looking highlights, and the perfect haircut. My hair has not looked this healthy in at least two years. The whole salon made me feel very comfortable, and actually listened to me when I told them about my particular hair issues. Whitney gave me exactly what I wanted and I will definitely be sticking with her. I recommend this salon to anyone looking to get the hair they really want!??

I have naturally curly hair, and if you do too, you know how hard it is to find someone who can cut & style it properly!! I have been searching around town and have been to tons of different salons, and this place is my favorite. Love the cucumber water!

So Brenna is my stylist, and she is absolutely wonderful. Not only did she cut my hair better than any other person has ever cut it before, but he also styled it wonderfully!! It was the first time that I'd ever been able to leave the salon and not have to go straight home to re-wash and style my hair. If you have curly hair, you should definitely call & make an appointment with Brenna. She also didn't charge an arm & a leg for the cut & style. Love it!!

This was the best experience I have ever had in a salon. The service was great, my stylists, Jenni, was friendly and extremely knowledgable, and the atmosphere was fun and exciting. My hair has never in my whole life looked so great, I feel like me when I look in the mirror! I would recommend this salon and Jenni to any and everyone!

I have just arrived back home from having my haircut with Kelly. I moved to Fort Collins with my family about a year and a half ago following a job change and have bouncing around to stylists ever since not finding one I really liked. Kelly was amazing! My hair looks great. I have been trying to grow my hair out for some time and even though I had damaged split ends she took the time to make sure that my split ends were gone without taking off too much length. She explained every step of the process and made sure I was happy the entire time.

From the looks of things these girls know what they are doing, don't be fooled by their young and cute demeanor. I will be back!

Oh... and they do free bang trims!!!

I really love my hair color, and the salon is a step above anything else in Fort Collins! Check it out once and you will be hooked for life, I am.
