The service was not great. I don't think they are experienced enough. It's more like intimidating customers. I didn't like the products for colors that I bought and they didn't care.

I got a great cut from Cesare sometime around February. I had never gotten highlights before, and he knew exactly what shade would look good on me. I got a million compliments the next day at work! He is a great guy- very sociable, good listener, and very intuitive! I also got a deep conditioning treatment which, I would say, worked okay, but not great. The cut and the color were phenomenal though!

Pros: Cesare is the best!

Cons: Small salon, which can be a good thing or a bad thing; expensive, but worth it!

For my birthday, my boyfriend surprised me with a "beauty day" --- massage, mani/pedi, facial and hair cut. He found Cesare, called him, talked to him at length about what he needed/wanted for me, etc. He even went so far as to go and meet Cesare in person. Through it all, Cesare was sooo accomodating, even dashing back across town to meet me for a specific appointment time, because we also had dinner and theater plans for the evening. Cesare was soooo welcoming, and friendly, and just everything a great hair stylist should be! Not to mention he gave me a fantastic cut and conditioning treatment... I couldn't have asked for a better birthday surprise!

I turned 40 last year and wanted to look fabulous for my 40th birthday bash. Like many I went online to search for someone in Pasadena. I'm very very picky. Cesare heard me out and did exactly what I asked. I also tried this treament for my hair that was to die for. My hair felt and looked so shiny and like a million bucks. He also cut and colored my hair. The color has remained the same since EVERYONE has complimented me on it. On the day of my birthday he styled my hair and more compliments were received. He has a great personality, works quickly because he knows what he's doing and makes you feel good about yourself. You won't regret the experience.

I have had my hair done by all the famous hair dressers - Jose Eber, Frederic Fekkai, Christophe, as well as top TV hair stylists. Cesare's skill and "hairside" manners are just as good. I had extensions done for the first time and I am thrilled with my Goddess Hair.
I highly recommend Cesare. When I asked him to finesse my bangs after a recent hair cut, he dropped by my office and trimmed my bangs on the spot!

My partner wanted fuller longer hair and Cesar gave her hair extensions that were so natural that everyone thought they were natural.

Cesar is amazing! I have naturally curly hair that does whatever it wants. Normally when I go to a new salon, I tell them to do whatever they feel will look good. I give no limitations, yet always walk out with the pretty much the same hairstyle. Not with Cesar! He did wonders with my hair. I totally recommend him!

I was really enthusiastic about getting my hair done with Cesare after reading all of the reviews on this site. I could not have been more disappointed. I got the worst haircut of my life! I haven't been able to style it for weeks. My hair has never been more layered and every stylist that I've gone to to correct the problem says that it just needs to completely grow out. Now I have to walk around for at least another 8 weeks with this hideous cut. In addition, the salon is extremely small and uninviting.

I'd been wanting to cut my long hair into a short, trendier style for awhile, but being new to the area, was nervous about finding a new stylist. After reading Cesare's rave reviews, I decided to give him a try, and I couldn't be happier! He was excellent about working with me to give me a hairstyle I'd not only like, but one that also fit my low-maintenance style. He quickly sized up my face shape and hair type and gave me a cut that is just the right length and style. I've gotten more compliments on this haircut than any other. The atmosphere was great also - he was friendly and informative, and didn't pressure me into doing anything I wasn't comfortable with to my hair. I would highly recommend Cesare and his talents to anyone looking for a great cut and plenty of compliments!

I heard about Cesare from a good friend. He has been my stylist for almost 3 years now. He's done extensions, color and cuts and I have always been thrilled with his work! I have had extensions done in Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, Nashville - and Cesare is BY FAR the best! I never had a day of trouble with them. Now that I've decided to take them out for a while and go short, he has given me the cutest cuts! I've never has so many compliments from strangers! My hair has always been thin and "stringy" and it's shocking how many people love my natural hair, now that Cesare has taken such great care of it over the last few years. I would recommend him HIGHLY to anyone - but especially to those with specific, out of the ordinary needs. He's great!!

My hair is curly, thin-ish and usually when it is blown dry, it frizzes. Most hair dressers ,who do not know my hair, cannot manage to make my hair not frizz. Cesare styled my hair straight, he did the perfect color, made it look stylish and very hip. He even got it to flip. I have never been able to get anyone to do a flip-do. I have been disappointed time after time and am thrilled with Cesare. Go to see him. You will not be disappointed. Cesare does not double and triple book -- you are his main attention when you're there. He does not waste your time or his.

I moved from Arizona this past year and had to leave my beloved hair dresser behind. Fortunately, I found a new one, Cesare! He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and highly skilled at working with hair. I would recommend his services to anyone seeking a good hair style and colorist.

I have been going to Cesare for probably 15 years and he is the best! I would follow him anywhere. For me, he is especially good with color and highlights. I've heard others rave about his work with extensions and straightening also. Not only is he a great stylist, but he's charming, witty, fun, and adorable. I highly recommend him!

Getting my hair done is usually very intimidating but Cesare has proved to be a master. He treated me and my hair like I wanted. My hair is soft and looks great. I have never been complimented so much on my hair so I know I will be going back.

other Nature blessed me with thin, flat and very fine baby hair. Luckily I have found a real gift of nature, Cesare, his talented hands and patient hairstylist. At first I was afraid I wouldnt be able to afford extensions, but after my first FREE consultation with Cesare I felt like I met someone who really cares about us less fortunate and not only money. Because of my financial situation I wasnt able to afford a large investment. Cesare started with only few strands of hair several months ago, and has been slowly working with me. Today I have 75 more strands then what I was born with and my hair finally feels so full and rich.
I am recommending Cesare to everyone because he is a true professional. He loves his work and gives a regular street girl a complete hair make over.

I had gone to the same hair stylist for over 8 years, but recently she was told by the doctor that she had to take some time off due to her allergies. I was heart broken, and it took me six months to gather up my courage and go to someone else. I found Cesare through CitySearch, read all the review and decided to try. I am very happy with the results and I have gone to him twice. First for a cut and the second time for a treatment. He is driven by his clients satisfaction and is very accomodating. I would recomend him anytime.

I went to Cesare for microline extensions - it was the best thing I ever did. Cesare always makes time for my questions with my new "hair". He is patient and always makes time to see you - even if he comes in on his days off! He is dedicated to his customers - you know that he wants you to look your best. Cesare has extensive training and skill and he instills confidence because he knows what he is talking about. You will not be disappointed when you leave Cesare - he's the best.

Need Hair Extensions? Cesar is the man. This stylist works specifically with your hair type. There are tons of factors that come into play when doing extensions. Cesar is very dedicated and highly knowledgeable about the clients hair. My experience was amazing I have quality hair and it looks absolutely amazing. Go to him and you will be in good hands.

What can I say? I've been going to Cesare for over five years. I refuse to go to anyone else. Worth every penny. Great hours, works around your scheudule. Great if you work late hours. I love my hair and care he gives it. I will never to anyone else. He's great with cut and color. You won't be disappointed. Three of my girlfriends also go to him. I recommend him to everyone I know.

Cesare is the nicest most talented without being conceited and haughty hair stylist. He gave me a full head of hair from practically nothing for my engagement pictures & wedding. He was sincere, sensitive to my needs, made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. He came right on time on my wedding day and created beautiful hairs for my sister, mom and me. My sister was so happy with the very eclectic low updo and my mom said this is the first time that she has not fussed with her hair after it has been styled by a stylist. He was even there to fix our dresses, he has a very elegant touch and has the eyes to make masterpieces. As for me, my husband was speechless when he saw me, it was unforgettable. Thanks Cesare, for your talent, service and most of all for being a wonderful person.

Whether you are looking for a hair style that is sassy or classy, Cesare will give you the right look. He is ultra creative when it comes to color and cut and he will leave you feeling absolutely georgeous. I have been a client of Cesare for about 5 years and every time he does my hair, I get tons of compliments and requests for his business card. I usually take a stack after he finishes my hair because I know people will ask me where I go. He currently sees about 7 or 8 people I know. What I really like about Cesare, besides his enthusiasm to make me look and feel beautiful, is that he always considers my feedback and tries to give me the look I desire while helping me to keep my hair healthy. He knows his stuff and that is why I keep coming back.

Not only is Cesare hugely talented, he's got superb taste--instantly he saw what kind of cut and color I needed, and the results are fantastic. Never again those stylists who have to be begged and cajoled into giving you some approximation of what you'd like. Terrific salon, too--for an hour, you think you're living in a normal city where you would like to be.

I have been going to Cesare since 2001 for haircuts and Alterna Caviar Conditioning Treatements. Cesare also did my hair for my wedding as well as my sister's and mother's hair. He came to my house, and did a beautiful updo. Six weeks prior to the wedding, Cesare gave me a complimentary consultation and trial updo. I received so many compliments on my hair the day of my wedding. I always leave his chair feeling like the most beautiful woman in the world.

Cesare has been coloring and cutting/styling my hair for the last 4 years. He does an amazing job on my color, and I am always happy with the cut. My hair is naturally curly, and I am very particular about how it's cut. Cesare has never let me down, and I have referred all my friends to him.

I got a color and a hair extension from Cesare Safieh at Hotheads hair salon. He did a phenomenal job! the best I ever had. I have been to many hairdressers and stylist here in California and Europe and out of all of them he is a True Picasso. He did a miracle with my hair. I look and feel 20 years younger. Lora Johnson has the best eye for personal style and is very communicative of what the client wants. She's a tad pricier, but worth every penny. This is the first time I've dealt with a stylist that really knows how to cut curly hair. She knows what she's doing and doesn't commit to cutting your hair until she can first determine if what you want is something she can deliver.
