Go see Michael!! He will hook you up. He will make you look and feel like a rock star and you will literally bounce out of the salon. He genuinely cares about your look and strives to match your personality with the right hairstyle. He's sophisticated but with edge which i love. The salon is sleek and very chill for a Beverly Hills joint. They really try to meet your every need. Five star all the way.

Let me begin by saying that my hair has always been the bane of my existance. It's fine, frizzy, wavy, crazy (the worst)...and after trying stylist after stylist over many years, I had given up and was coloring my own hair. To make matters worse, years of home color treatments, and using a flat iron (plus hair extensions) had damaged my hair so badly that I barely had any hair left...

I was first introduced to Michael by a friend of mine who swore that he would be able to make my hair look great. I didn't believe her and didn't trust anyone to cut my hair (because of previous bad experiences with hairdressers who didn't know how to cut fine hair and had left me with layers that made my fine hair look even more limp and yucky :<)...but I reluctantly went anyway.... After an hour with Michael, however, I was a believer. He has an extremely good eye for aesthetics and knows exactly what will look good in terms of color and cut for a particular hair type and face. Over the last 2.5 years, I have visited Michael every 3 mos and I can't believe the change in my hair! Not only is the cut and color perfect for mem(he does a combination of highlights and lowlights that looks extremely natural), but the health of my hair has dramatically improved. When I first started going to Michael, you could see my scalp through my hair (I'm only 33!) because it was so damaged, but because of the regimen of products Michael put me on, plus regular cuts and highlights (which act to thicken my roots), my hair is at least 3x as thick as it was 3 years ago!!!

I can not recommend Michael highly enough....he has truly changed my hair, and I will never go to anyone else!

I was referred to Michael by my mother, who has never looked better since she started getting her hair styled by him. He clearly saw her as an individual and was able to color and style her hair in a way that accentuated her features. The change in color actually made her look younger and fresher.

I have gotten my hair cut in Beverly Hills for a while, but Christophe Salon was another level of the game. And I didn't realize how it was worth the price until I saw the transformation in my mom.

I tried it out, and was immediately hooked. I think the real key to Michael's gift is that he sees each client as an individual. He has the skills and imagination to help each individual realize her true potential.

I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to feel great about themselves after they get their hair cut.

You can trust him to really see you as an individual and make you look your personal best.

I've been a client of Michaels for 3 years, and after every cut, I'm so impressed by his talent. Michael has a skill for creating stylish, fresh beautiful looks. He is attentive and collaborative, and works wonders with my hair. Michael and I have done a lot together - He's transformed my thin scraggly 'mommy' hair to beautiful, healthy perfect layers. He took my long locks and gave me a dramatic posh bob. Somehow he even made my little face look hot with bangs!! It's amazing how he subtly frames my face perfectly, while taking into consideration my head shape and bone structure. I trust Michael and have complete confidence in his work; I have NEVER been disappointed!

I recently asked Michael to style my hair for a swanky Hollywood Costume Party (I went as Betty Draper from Mad Men), and he whipped my hair into a beautiful 60's up-do! I've never received so many compliments on my hair than I did that night!

Michael transforms you into a more beautiful, confident women. When I leave the salon, I actually have a little swagger in my step.

I first met Michael (MichaelMHaase) at a celebrity packed event that my agent had sent me to; There he stood, tousling and flipping, blowdrying and combing... Though he wasn't cutting any of the celebrities' hair, he was styling them extraordinarily. I had to know him!

He has a kind nature, and is easy to talk to. I trusted him more than enough to set an appointment to have my hair done. Now, to give you a quick background on my hair- I had just completely destroyed it. I'm talkin' going from black to brown by way of BLEACH. My hair was falling out, breaking off when dry, or snapping when wet. I was an absolute mess.

When I got in, Michael was firm enough to tell me how severly damaged my hair was (I hung my head in shame), but sweet enough to reasure me that everything was going to be ok.

My long, scraggly har was given a treatment then chopped into a stylish, modern Marilyn Monroe bob that perfectly accented my features and made me look more polished and sophisticated than ever before!

On top of that, Michael introduced me to a product that I cannot live without- It's called Stronga Treatment by UNITE Eurotherapy. It is a designer protein that completely rebuilt my hair folicle. This product literally saved me from having to shave my head! Not to mention, it smells soooo good. Like lemon meringue pie!

I would like to recommend Michael M. Haase to everyone needing a serious or simple life change. Because to him, it is so much more than just your hair.

Can't wait to go back!

I went to Jermaine at Cristophe Salon to have my eyebrows done and she is AMAZING! She is the first person who made my eyebrows work with the shape of my face....she has an eye! I have had people comment on how great my eyebrows look and that is something that has never happened. She is sweet and always welcomes you in with her smile.

Beyond Amazing! From the first moment I met Michael Haase I felt at ease. Michael has vision and could ?see? the artist expression that I was trying to create with the particular colors and pattern I was requesting. Rene just gave me the best color and haircut of my life. I have crazy thick curly hair and he transformed a horrible dye job into a perfect chocolate bob. The rest of the staff were marveling at what he accomplished. Then he showed me different ways to style it - which I had never been able to achieve before. I am surprised at the other high marks here. I follow the haircut lady I liked (Jessica) from Fekkai. The few times I visited were unprofessional. I got a manicure which left me with a fungus (!), and many calls to the manager to discuss went unreturned.

I decided to give it one more try because I liked Jessica so much and the colorist was over 45 mins late to the appointment. I discussed my disappointment with the manager on duty who clearly did not care.

I left in disgust and have never returned.

It has taken me three years to find someone that understands my style from just glancing at me. Michael gave me back myslef. the cut is absolutely amazing. its the sassyness(how ever yous pell that) that i had lost when i moved out here but now i have it back. its not a questions of hair cutting, its a matter of hair styling and creating and that is precisely what you will find once you sit in Michaels chair. He will help you feel like you are on top of the world. He is genuin, fun, friendly but above all a great stylist. Yes its pricey put hey, EVERY BIT OF IT IS COMPLETELY WORTH IT. i will not eat for a week and will go back again, due in 4 weeks, to be exact. will let you know how he makes me feel after that visit too.

I went to Michael with the same request I had gone and asked others for time and time again. Michael was not only the only one to get my hair right, he did it better than I could have imagined. My hair cut is insanely fabulous and my color compliments it completely. Not only did I literally cry tears of happiness in his chair, but at my family's huge St. Patrick's Day bash last week, I was told by more than 10 people that I look prettier now than I ever have before. Thank you again Michael! Muah!

I scheduled an appointment at Cristophe Salon because a colorist named Fabrice had been highly recommended to me by a close girlfriend who is a well known actress/model. I figured that since he is the son of the famed Cristophe himself, he must have it in his genes? and I was pleasantly proven right. Walking into the salon, the hip music, trendy employees and classy clientele of all ages made me feel that this was the right place for me. Not too pretentious, but still very glamorous with the decor. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a cappuccino.

People who know Fabrice call him ?Fab? and now I can see why. He has a very relaxed and hip appearance, and I was able to zone out to the tunes and my magazine while he worked very quickly. When it was all finished I was very happy with my perfect beachy blonde highlights. He also does the balayage highlighting technic where they paint the color on, I don?t know if I want to mess with perfection but I would maybe try it out just to see what all the hype is about. I tried to refrain from the ?fab is fabulous? cliche...but it can?t be denied. All in all it was a great experience. Not too gaudy, but still felt like I was going to see a super model walking in at any moment, as I did when Fabrice?s next client came a bit early. I have already scheduled my next visit with Fabrice at Cristophe Salon. My roommates have as well because they liked my highlights so much!

i guess if i wrote a whole blog entry about michael haase, i can write a little review about him, too. i noticed a lot has been said already about him so i'm not sure what else i would add except that if you're looking for a great makeover, try him. he will cut your hair in such a way that totally flatters your face and overall appearance. you can wear the same old jeans and t-shirt but with your great cut, you will look fabulous. i highly highly recommend trying him. you will NOT regret it and you most likely will become addicted, like me. i've been going to him since 2004 and can't leave! (believe me, i've tried, but i keep coming back. he's that good). not that i go for the compliments, but i never had people compliment my hair until i michael starting cutting my hair. now, i'm just so used to it. :)

pros: he will know what looks good on you and do it. you'll look amazing.
con: once you see what a really good haircut on you is, you won't be able to go anywhere else.

As someone who just moved to the area from NYC I was having all kinds of trouble finding someone in the area. Starting out in the business it was important to have a style that I could wear not only out, but to the office every day. Unlike EVERYONE else I went to, Alex works with you to come to a decision on they style you want, without making you feel like your doing something wrong if you don't agree with him.

I was turned on to him by a close friend, and I have never turned back, and honestly probably never will. He goes well beyond just cutting hair, Alex provides an ear to listen, and is not afraid to share his own opinion. As just a normal guy looking for a hair cut the idea of going to a salon was overwhelming, but Alex has a way about him that makes me feel like I'm back in the barber shop in New York (but with MUCH better results!)

I have followed Nancy Braun from LA to New York (where she also sees clients) and back again. With all the worries a modern gal has, I have to say that since I found Nancy and her Balayage (hair painting) technique, my incredible blonde hair is something I never have to think about twice. Nancy is meticulous. She surveys my hair each time I see her, and intricately paints the strands with precision (you can't get that with foil). Nancy took my hair from uneven and brassy (light at the bottom, dark at the top, over processed and brittle) to sundrenched and spectacular. Every day my hair looks like I have been on vacation in St. Barth's. Thank you Nancy!!!!!

Michael Haase at Christophe is simply the most AMAZING colorist and stylist out there. I've been a light blonde for the past 13 years, and as a model have had many different colorists give my hair a try. I'm from Europe and my search for THE ONE, the one and only colorist, has spanned more than a decade and two continents - until I found Michael. I can not express in words just HOW MUCH this man is worth knowing! He will transform your hair in every way. His cuts are fantastic, but it's the color that is absolutely unparalleled. I spent 13 years searching for a colorist who would have the ability to give me a COOL BLOND. 80% of blondes, especially in L.A., have a yellowish ( supposedly "golden" ) blonde, and somehow, they all look the same. I've tried so many colorists in L.A., from "big name stylists" to so-called " insider tips", and even if there was a nice color here or there, it was NEVER, not once, the perfect blonde. Until Michael. He took the time to really listen, study my hair, and find out what exactly I was looking for. And then he transformed me! Not only did he give me the perfect color with a beautiful, long-lasting shine, he also took fantastic care of my hair. Michael is responsible, a perfectionist, a true artist and a great guy on top of that. Other hair stylists have done so much damage to my hair, and if you're a blonde, I'm sure you've had you fair share of over-bleached or over-processed hair, or even worse experiences. Time to end the suffering!
So, for all you blondes, or future blondes, reading this, PLEASE give Christophe Salon a call and make an appointment with Michael. You will never look back, I guarantee it! You will be the happiest ever! Michael is worth every single penny and I will follow him where ever he chooses to work, if he'd work out of a car, I'd be there. He is absolute magic!

While I could rant and rave about the salon itself, the main reason I have been going to Christophe for the last two years is for the incredible Michael. I'd honestly follow him anywhere and have seriously considered flying him back east for a few weddings I have been in. :) Michael saw my scared and somewhat protective self when I walked into his salon two years ago with hair down to my butt, no layers, parted down the middle, no real color...aka "college hair." I told him if he cut my hair off I would never come back. And instead of doing just that, over the course of two years he gained my trust at a pace that was right for me and slowly shaped my hair into what it is today. No matter what your personal taste, desire, hair emergency, whatever, Michael's stellar expertise, honest advice, and attention to details, is sure to deliver a permanent smile on your face or, with me, a constant blushing pink face. Above and beyond, Michael is an artist and people recognize his work. It's not unusual for me to walk into whole foods and have 2-3 people ask to take a picture of my hair and ask for my hair dressers card. I had to grab a new stack last time I was in there. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cut or color and I strongly recommend you get over to Christophe and sit in his chair. I promise you will not be disappointed!

I recently was a hair model for a class Michael was doing for Unite and I had no idea who he was (until like some others on here I went home and googled him) WOW do I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have had him touch my hair!! I am always looking for a change and new style for my hair, as most of us girls are. I cut it short and then grow it long and then cut it short again. I went in this time with it about mid length, thinking gosh it took a long time to grow it out, I hope he doesn't want to cut it off! Michael immediately made me feel at ease as he played with my hair, looked at my facial structure, felt the curvature of my head, and started telling me his vision for what he wanted to do. I immediately melted and felt he knew my hair and what I needed BETTER than anyone I had ever met before. His confidence that it was going to look amazing made me feel so at ease and excited, I think he could have told me I would look HOT with a shaved head and I would have let him do it. He is just that kind of AMAZING!! I left with a new sxy look and an amazing self esteem. He truly is a hair artist and master mind in the field of hair. Don't delay GO SEE HIM TODAY!!! You will look and feel like a new woman, not to mention have a haircut that suits you and makes you as BEAUTIFUL as you could ever be!

I live out of state and flew in exclusively to have Alessandro Cut and Style my Hair. I work at an Agency here in NY and two of my clients referred him. They fly to LA once a month for Alessandro and refuse to go to anyone local. I thought they were nuts at first but soon found myself intrigued. Over the years his name continues to appear in articles mentioned simultaneously with some pretty famous People.
I had business appointments scheduled in LA and San Francisco last week and an appt. with Alessandro on Tuesday. Needless to say , I get it now. It makes sense why they fly to LA. He is AMAZING, a Class act, and my Hair looks Fabulous..... Not to mention that Dennis Quaid was his appointment before me =)

Alex has given me a youthful sophistication, making me look and feel younger--against all odds of the aging process. He has an unbeatable sense of style, a sure hand with color and shape--and is a wonderful, intelligent and humorous guy to boot. I have a great time getting my hair cut, colored, and combed, where it used to be a tedious and generally unsatisfactory experience. I'd recommend him without any reservations whatsoever--and that's why I've written this review!

For beautiful color with exceptionally natural and stunning results you can't do better than Nancy Braun at the Christophe Salon. I've been to many of the "top" salon's in both Los Angeles and New York and can't say I've had better results with anyone. She uses the "balayage" technique as opposed to foils. This allows for less out-growth and less damage to the hair. In French, balayage translates to "brush". Instead of very unnatural stripey highlights, Nancy paints on color that elicits a very sun-kissed quality---think Giselle Bunchen's honey-hued locks--very natural and subtle but in a knock-out, what's different about you kinda way. She lightens hair gradually from root to tip, creating the ultra natural effect which mimics nature's way of lightening your hair. I like the way she takes face shape, eye color and skin tone into account when figuring out kind of look she wants to create. All said she is brilliant!

I love going to Christophe salon in Beverly Hills because I always walk out looking like a movie star thanks to super fab stylist Tamar. Her latest and most fantastic treatment is a must. The Brazilian Straightening and Conditioning Treatment is just incredible. It eliminates all frizz and gives an unbelievable softness to hair texture. Tamar is also and incredible colorist. It's no accident that she has so many celebrity clients.

I have been going to Nancy Braun for 10 years for highlights. She is quite simply the best. I first heard about her through a friend who was a publicist for several high profile celebrities. I asked her for a recommendation and I've been seeing Nancy ever since. I can honestly say I have the most natural looking highlights ever! She does this process called balayage which doesn't require any foils--she just paints it on and instead of looking like I just had my hair colored, I look like I just got back from a vacation at the beach. The color lasts which means fewer trips to the salon which I actually wouldn't mind since she makes the whole experience fun! She's just really down to earth and extremely talented. She is quite simply the best hair colorist period. It really doesn't get any better!

Sure the Christophe salon is beautiful, has stark white interior and has a very "cool" Los Angeles feel to it....but the reason why you should really go there is Michael Haase! I have lived on the westside of Los Angeles my entire life and have never been able to have a monagamous relationship with just ONE hairdresser! I would follow all the trends and head over to new hairdresser at least 3 times a year.
However, as of 2 years ago, this all changed! When my cousin's mother was staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel she asked the concierge at the hotel where she should get her hair-cut and they directed her to go to see Michael at the Christophe salon. After she left, she told me to go and I did! This man KNOWS how to cut hair based on your face, head shape e.t.c. After sitting his chair, you always leave feeling like a million bucks. He also spent the time teaching me how to style my hair when I was home. He is worth every penny! I have sent 9 other woman to him based on THEM asking ME where I got my hair-cut.
I have finally found a home with Michael as my one and only stylist and for the first time in my life, i can sit back in his chair and no matter what he does to my hair, he will always make me look my best!!!!

He gets it. He just gets it. You can go into that man with the most horrific weave and you'll come out looking like Jennifer Aniston. I got a botched haircut from another hairdresser and had to go into Michael with my tail between my legs, lookin like a soccer mom. He threw me in that chair, did his magic and had me transfmored back into the 20 something I knew I really was. He's awesome. I have never had softer, sleeker, sexier hair in my life. And people see it. I get compliments on his work everywhere. And I'm like yeah, I know a guy... bam here's his card. The dude is dope, to say the least. You got frizz, no problem, you got a football shaped head, don't worry about it. He cuts hair that looks good on YOUR head, not nicole kidmans. I don't even have to tell him what I want. I just sit down and shut up and it's always perfect.

I had no idea who Michael Haase was until I got home from being hair model with Unite Eurotherapy and 'Googled' him. Holy cow do I feel like an idiot! Upon arrival he essentially ordered me to be quiet yet was extremely professional at the same time (I have had so many bad hair-cuts I've apparently gotten used to explaining every detail of what I want done to ensure minimal damage, plus I had no clue who he was, such a silly girl). He felt my entire scalp, cheekbones, and neck, examined my facial features, had me stand up, turn my head, look him in the eye... all before even touching a comb let alone a pair of scissors. He envisions his work before he begins, a true master.
I mentioned to him I had been thinking about going short for a while (I was shoulder length pre-Michael) and he ran with it. The cut is a little shorter then I wanted but it looks terrific! If you want a simple trim of your layers-ala-Aniston go to SuperCuts. If you want to change your look to enhance your features, go see Michael. (And look into being a hair model for Unite's training courses, it's a free cut and color and you get free AWESOME products!!! They didn't even give me the 'ok, now where's my tip?' look!)

Michael Haase, fist let me say there are not enough stars on this rating system. Highly recommend is clearly an understatement! I am a New York transplant, and I have been to many high profile salons, whose prices are steeper than Cristophe. I was so fortunate to have my NY hair stylist suggest Michael. I am quite pickey, but trust creative people to the very end. The moment I walked into the salon and met Michael, I knew this would be a love affair to remember. The talent and honesty that Michael imparts is beyond expectations, and his work is way too creative for mere mortals. He does not just cut hair, he creates a style that is independent for each woman, he frames your best parts and improves on what is almost unimaginable. We are all beautiful, but, with just a little of his help...heads will turn and keep turning. The salon people admire his work as it walks in and out of the salon.

Now, color. To be blonde and look smashing is not an easy task. Michael took me to exceptional blonde in only two colorings. The only thing I can say is once you make the appointment...trust and do not speak, except to just have fun with his personality. He is truly an "indenpendent, individual soul". If anyone can make you feel like a million bucks every visit, it is him and his hand picked selection of assistants.

If you do nothing else in your life, go to Michael at least 3 times and you will never go anywhere else, and you will not even miss the expenditure. Hey, you can always get two hours of free parking across the street.

When I am in the shop, no one else exists except my personal experience. He is professional, incredibly talented and a good partner to spend the beauty time with. He never pushes product....but he said, "if you don't leave the shop and love your hair" something is wrong. I spend the entire ride home looking in the outside mirrors....do I love my hair or what? You may have already seen me on the street and stopped.

I came in to see Michael after stopping a woman on the street with the"perfect" haircut. The minute I met Michael I knew I was in excellent hands. He took the time to study my hair, it's texture and color, the shape of my face, the color of my skin, and discussed my overall style which I have always described as simple and classic. 3 hours later I felt like a new woman. The perfect blonde and the perfect chic cut that complimented the shape of my face beautifully. I have to admit, I have tried many well known "famous" stylists in Los Angeles and NYC over the years however, I have never left a salon feeling as good as I did after my cut and color with Michael. BUT...the best part of the experience came later after I washed and dried my hair on my own 2 days later...he had promised it would be easy; no need to style with various brushes and products...AND...he was right. The cut was incredilby perfect. I looked as if I had just walked out the salon! Simply put...Michael Haase is a genius.

I love going to Christophe--I look forward to each appointment. I was recommended to Sharle by a friend who's also a client. Sharle is fantastic with color AND cut...I always leave feeling as though I could go book a hair commercial the same day! Everyone in the salon, from front desk attendants to stylists to Christophe himself, have proved unpretentious (rare on Beverly Drive). From the sparkling white decor to the wide selection of product (Kerastase is a lifesave every time), Christophe is more than a salon--it's an experience. I HIGHLY recommend Sharle...a great, capable stylist and a cool chick.

I have been going to Sabine for over 16 years for highlights and haircuts. She is amazing with her highlights...getting directly to the roots and she is very careful to have it look natural. I always look like a natural blonde and get several compliments weekly on my hair. In fact, most of my family, friends, and coworkers are also costumers because they admired my hair and wanted to have Sabine do their hair! I have given Sabine's name and number dozens and dozens of times over the years. Her cuts are hip but very clean and elegant. She has people who fly in from northern california just to get her to color and cut their hair. She has a talent for hair and keeps updated on all the latest trends....yet she always keep her clients elegant and natural looking! She is fantastic!

I strongly recommend Glenn Deneve at Christophe Salon in Beverly Hills. I had been looking for a hair stylist who is not just skilled but has something more. I went to see a few stylists who have skills, but I never could get exactly what I wanted. I always got something completely different from what I asked for or just got whatever THEY wanted. Then, I went to see Glenn with strong recommendations of my friend. I got exactly what I wanted or even better! He truly listens to what I want to do and how I want to change. He gives me not only what I want, but also he always surprises me with his great tricks. So, I always get my hair looks better than I expect. Also, I go to see him for my special occasions. Since I've been in the fashion industry, I like to change my hairstyle, depending on what kind of clothes I wear. I used to be afraid of changing my hairstyle but not any more. I think that he knows what to do for each client. Finally I could find a hair stylist whom I can count on. His attitude toward customers is excellent!! I am sure that you will enjoy the time with him and walk out of the salon with 100% satisfied :)

If you are going to the Cristophe Salon, you MUST see Alessandro. This man worked miracles on my mane ? and I needed a miracle after getting a disappointing do at two top Beverly Hills salons. As a girl who takes pride in having lovely locks and as a girl who is always out and about town on the social scene due to my job, I went to Alessandro at the request and recommendation of a good friend. Hesitant to try another hairstylist I was not sure who could give me a hairstyle I would be jazzed about, I decided to give him a shot nonetheless. I find that most stylists will listen to what you want done with your hair and then still do something completely different. Not the case with Alessandro! He actually listened to how I wanted my hair (still lengthy yet with shape and easy to style). How many times have we gotten hairdos that we can never replicate after visiting a salon?? I am not joking when I say that I got exactly what I asked for. I looked like a million bucks when Alessandro was done with me. Alessandro is warm, friendly, fun and talented. I trust him with my hair and will go to no one else now!!! You would think this guy would be completely different and snooty due to the amazing roster of celeb clients that he has like Kelly Preston, Nicollete Sheridan, Michael Bolton or Dustin Hoffman or any of the others ? but this is a guy who is totally respectable and nice and has such a keen eye for what hairstyle will look good on you. He is responsible for making the most glamorous people look gorgeous?and that is what I am now thanks to Alessandro. Go see him ? I?m serious!! You will not want to go to anyone else ever again. I wish I could post a photo of the amazing work he did ? get your hair done by Alessandro at Cristophe ? you will not regret it!!!

I met miss Alexis James while she was working at the Cristophe Salon in Las Vegas. Our first appointment together was amazing!!! She immediately put my mind to rest that she would give me the color I wanted without damaging my hair. She explained every step, why she was doing what she was doing and she was fast too!!!! She nailed the color perfectly the first time, second time, third time and every time I've seen her for the past 3 years. After she told me she would be working out of the Beverly Hills location as well, I was just thrilled!!!! Although I visit Las Vegas often from LA....I am so glad she is on my side of town now! I would highly reccomend you give her a visit in Beverly Hills. She's kind, caring, and an excelent artist/colorist. My hair has never looked or felt better! She is a rare jewel, so definitely go see her if you're bored or looking for a change. I couldn't imagine going to anyone else!

I first met Michael Haase (from Christophe salon in Beverly Hills) 3 years ago, when I was a new mom who'd never had anything done with my hair. I tend to not generally care too much about my appearance, but of course no matter how laid-back a girl is, there's some part of every woman who wants to look as good as a movie star.

I knew he was a pro; he'd transformed a great friend of mine and I was ready for something, anything to look good, and I let him choose what to do (but nothing too drastic, I said).The first thing he did was spend about a minute or two just looking at me, looking at my face, the angles, my hair itself, and then he said "I know exactly what to do". Since then I've been a different woman. I'm not one who goes out buying fancy things and getting massages, I actually feel like when I get my haircut with Michael it's better than any massage because it's more tangible, and my hair makes anything I wear look good. As he cuts you can see the transformation occuring before your eyes (I think someone else wrote that too), and you do look beautiful and s-xy when he's done. And Michael is pretty amazing (and hot) which always makes the time spent sitting in that seat well worth it. I must also add that unlike any other haircut I've ever gotten, his cuts last forever. With an extremely busy work schedule I've gone 6 months between cuts (ouch) at times, and my hair somehow still looks s-xy.

He is amazing with everyone. I even brought my mom in and he gave her the same treatment and she left looking stylish and graceful. I recommend Michael to all my friends, and will continue to do so. My feeling is someone who is so dedicated to helping normal women look their absolute best, who treats every woman like a work of art who can be made beautiful should be shared. I think every woman should be able to have this experience and feel their best. It's amazing a haircut can do so much.

Just had my first experience at Cristophe salon by a stylist named Glenn Deneve.I just moved from Japan to Los Angeles about a year ago,and had a hard time finding a good stylist.True a friend of mine I was recommended to go see Glenn.
From the moment I walked in and was introduced, he was all attention to me.
We sat down,and talked hair for about 5 minutes. After I had my shampoo Glenn blowdryed my hair and when he was finished he then proceeded to cut it, I never had the experience of someone doing this on dry hair, but let me asure you it was amazing, Glenn littery cut hair by hair and I could see slowly the transformation infront of my eyes. By blowdrying my hair before,he could see exactly how my hair fell and moved naturally and then Glenn cut it accordingly.
It was the most amazing experience that I ever had and the moment I walked towards the front desk, even the stylist told me what a great haircut I just got and that it looked stunning.
Once on the street I got 3 compliments within the first 10 min.
It seems I am hooked and would highly recommend Glenn to everybody.
He is a real genius,friendly,...very cute,attentive,and very very talented.

As a young professional that started her own design firm last year, overworked, and badly need a new hair style, I decided to go for a haircut and color with Michael Hasse, after reading all these great reviews. Not knowing what to expect, since I've tried the best salons in New York, Tokyo, Taipei, and here in LA, but always been kinda disappointed with the results, no matter how fancy the salons are. I have to say...Michael Hasse is the best!! I left with such a big smile on my face. He gave me the best haircut and color that I ever got in my life. He was so friendly and personal. All I requested was that I need a change badly, something edgier, and still s-xy. I felt so at ease, totally trusted him and his artistic vision with my hair even though we just met. He is so in tone with art, fashion, architecture, design, and more. He gave me exactly what I wanted and more!! That is so rare..for the stylist to know what one wants before she is able to even envision the haircut herself. That's a true artist! He is truly talented!

This review is way overdue as I've been a loyal client of Michael for 3 years (following him from Umberto to Cristophe's) and have never been less than THRILLED with the way he has styled my hair. I am often approached by other women who wonder where I've gotten my cut and color done and I happily recommend him. He's a bit of a hidden gem, way too overqualified to be chopping the locks of a non-celebrity/mere mortal, and if you allow him, he'll have you walking out of the salon looking like you're on your way to a fashion shoot.

He's been styling hair for years and he's constantly attending hair shows (he was in London earlier this year) and teaching young stylists- all which attest to his expertise. I've watched him do more conservative styles and beautiful up do's as well -Michael has no limits to what he can do. I personally love the fact that he will do something creative and stunning, yet feminine and wearable each time I see him. As a bonus, his styles wear wonderfully for months.

My recommendations to you if you choose to indulge yourself with a M. Haase experience:
1. Come as yourself- the salon may be a bit fancy, but he is always welcoming and treats you like a star
2. Come having thought about how "conservative" vs. "cutting edge" you're willing to be (or your profession and daily activities allow you to be),
3. Have in mind some very general guidelines (like you're in the process of growing your hair long)
4. Let Michael do his magic. I think one key to an excellent stylist is having the talent to envision what would look best for each individual client. Michael has THAT talent; he's been blessed with it through and through. I personally discourage you from coming in with a picture of some model and asking him to "make you look like her". A photo may help you convey a certain look you're going for, but it may not be necessary. Believe me, he will make you more beautiful than you ever imagined.

Cristophe salon is nothing like I thought it would be. I expected to be intimidated by the whole "Beverly Hills" scene, I was pleasantly surpised at how comfortable I was made to feel as soon as I walked in the door.
I have been seeing Lisa for my highlights for the past year and couldn't be more pleased! I am always stopped on the street by woman who want to know who does my hair. Not only that but whenever I have my hair blown out when I am out of town the stylists always ask how my color is done and comment on the exceptional work. She turned this mousey brunette into a blonde goddess and I will never leave her.

I've been to Cristophe Salon twice now. I have never left unsatisfied. The last time I went I knew exactly what I wanted, and explained it to my stylist (who was new, i hadn't ever worked with before - nervewracking!) and he described it back to me, and he totally got it, only knew what I wanted even better than I knew! And when it came to actually doing it, it was so much better than I could have imagined. He paid so much attention to me and my hair, it was great. When I left the salon I got nothing but compliments from the other stylists and even from Cristophe himself, he wanted to know who did my color. I've been coloring my hair for years and years, but I've never been so pleased. Nathanial was the best. I wouldn't reccomend him to anybody cause I don't want his book to fill, because I always want to be able to get a spot! I will be going to him for ever and ever.

as i walked through the large glass doors of the all white, illuminated salon i immediately felt a bit intimidated. but every feeling of doubt was quickly put to rest as the very kind young woman at the front desk said hello and motioned me over. i was given a latte and a tour and sat for no more than 5 minutes before seeing my stylist (less than 30 min wait time is almost unheard of in LA) who was completely focused on ME and MY hair. i then saw diana for an amazing manicure and found i really didn't want to leave...i plan to go back from now on and have recommended the salon to everyone i know!

I went to Michael Haase as a recommendation from a friend. When I first came in, I was looking for a new cut and color. His results, by far exceeded my expectations! Its extremely hard to find someone in LA that understands how to cut asian hair so that it gives you body, texture and life. His knowledge of the asian features sets him apart from any other stylist in LA! He really looks at what cut would work for your head shape, what length compliments you the best, what line to cut at so that it accents the best feature on your face and what color is most compatible with your skintone and will accent your eyes. I can say hands down that Michael gives you the best cut and color with every visit.

His talent for fashion and current trends is impeccable and more than anything, he makes sure that whatever cut and color he gives you fits your being, as well as your lifestyle. You can really feel he understands you and doesn't just cut or color your hair automatically b/c its the latest fad. His tips will surprise you and are extremely easy to follow... I can't ask for anything more. Ive been going to Michael for 2 years and his cut and color has been amazingly perfect! He has changed my look so that I always feel great about my appearance. Theres no other word to describe his work besides perfection! He pays attention to my facial features and the image I want to present In order to create the best styles. I smile every time he has completed my hair! And, everytime I walk out of the Cristophe Salon, I get a handful of comments from people on the street. My hair is the best its ever looked and I owe that look to Michael! Trust meif you see hi, you wont regret it!

I had no intention other than to get my roots touched up on my blonde (overprocessed shoulder-length baby-fine hair)...under the care and artisitc vision of Michael, I now have a chic short hairstyle that actually makes my hair look healthy and thick! I have had tons of compliments and although I feared having a short "anchor bob" haircut---i was told it looks really hot and makes me look ten years younger. He gave me an incredible haircut, conditioning treatments and spent time teaching me how to make my hair healthier and how to improve the condition and lessons on how to dry and style. Here's my advice Blondes (with chemically damaged or not) - go see Michael at Cristophe - he is FANTASTIC!

I came to Michael last August with a short mop of breaking, wet cotton texturized, brownish hair. Today I have a shiny mane of long, blonde hair. This tranformation took well under a year!! Trust me, if you saw what I started with, this is quite an achievement. My cut is stylish and I've finally found someone who can "take off just a little bit" so that it can grow. I highly recommend him.

Cristophe Salon is known for its cutting edge haircuts, trend setting colors and beautiful clientele. Ive been going to my stylist, Michael for my color and cut for years and he is, without a doubt, a creative genius! Hes known for his broad range of color from Charlize Theron Vogue to creative fashion forward looks. His intl. experience coupled with his demands to do fashion shows have made him a hot commodity amongst other LA Stylists. He creates a look that makes you feel like you stepped out of a fashion photo shoot!

When I leave the Salon, I swear I get so many compliments! Michaels haircuts create sharp sexy movements and for a business woman who just turned 30, I love it! Hes always forward thinking and is in the know of the latest trend setting colors and hairstyles! Hes amazingyou wont be disappointed!

Cristophe Salon was chic and beautiful yet unpretentious. The people were friendly, and Cristophe himself sets the tone here. He is professional, precise and warm. He gave me an amazing cut, and his son Fabrice did an amazing color job. I am really looking forward to my next appointment, and it was a truly great experience.

Christophe has the best nail technician in Beverly Hills. Her name is (Titania). I simply love the way she takes her time and ensures I walk out happy on every visit. After 2 weeks my nails appear to be in the same great condition they were in after leaving the salon. Thank you (Tye) for everything and I'm sorry I have not told you this sooner.

Im fairly new to LA and have been trying out a few salons to get a decent haircut. Unfortunately, regardless of price, I have received some poor haircuts. I wanted to go to a more reputable place and a friend recommended Cristophe. I went to Citysearch and read the positive review. The haircut was VERY good and I will definitely return.
