I came here for brunch last weekend and I was very excited to try their blueberry ricotta pancakes. I had heard people rave about them from Dominick's sister restaurant Lil Dom's. I am happy to say they were even better than I expected.

Dominick's brunch was a wonderful surprise. Not only did we NOT know that our favorite restaurant was serving brunch but we've now been back twice. A well kept secret...for now! Definitely try it out.

My husband and I were late to the game in discovering this old West Hollywood haunt. We love the atmosphere, particularly sitting on the outdoor covered patio. Try to get a table by the outdoor fireplace for a cozy evening. The vibe is lively but relaxed albeit a bit loud at times.

Food is good. I particularly enjoy the Whitefish Piccata and the Prosciutto and Ricotta starter. The Artichoke is also fantastic. Portions are just right which is refreshing given so many Italian restaurants really load it on the plate. Try the ricotta fritters for a fun dessert.

My only complaint would be that service can be spotty. We have at times had wonderful servers and at other times servers who seemed too busy and inattentive. In particular, we asked them to hold our meals as courses tend to come out as quickly as at a diner, but we were told this was not possible. They didn't rush us out at the end, but we could barely finish our appetizer before the meal was before us.

Pros: Great atmosphere, great food.
Cons: Inconsistent service.
