I just barely got back from getting my hair done and I am soooo pleased!!! I have never loved my style this much before. Sophia was my stylist and she did a great job. She listened to what I wanted and she did exactly that. I was super nervous to cut my long hair and to see someone new since I just moved from Salem, but I am so happy! I highly recommend Revolution to everyone!!! You will NOT be disappointed!! Thank you Sophia!!! Also, thank you Jerri for being so helpful and friendly! I will definitely be back!!

I've had many services done here: facial, massage, waxing, spray tanning and mani-pedi. I always come home refreshed and pretty! The staff are wonderful and so much fun. I am totally loving their new exercise studio and am so happy it's there! I'm in their morning fitness bootcamp and have taken several dance/cardio classes. The instructors are inspriring and fun. I would strongly encourage anybody to go and try it out, no experience needed!

I moved to Portland about a year ago, and any woman knows the hair concern... Now who will do my hair? Well, after much online searching, I came across Revolution-so I decided to drive and see what hair-hope I could find. I LOVE the environment, style, and character that the staff brings to the shop. I visit every month or so and always love my hair. Not only do I love my hair- but all I see are smiles and laughter from other customers in the rest of the shop also. Jerri and Dianna are hillarious and very helpful with any crazy question I come up with. I love to do drastic changes to my hair, and Dianna pulls it off perfectly every single time. Not only is the cut, color, and style great; but their motto is, "if you leave and decide it's not right-call us and we'll have you back in to fix it". I can't say enough- and you wouldn't want to read my ramble all day anyways! You will be happy and love your service here, so give them a call and get in to check it out (just don't take my spot next month!). Thanks Ladies, You all Rock!!

Hi! My name is Butterfly and after my experience at Revolution, I am a happy camper! I moved to Portland about a year ago and unfortunately my hair stylist search has ended in one disaster after the next. Not to mention a few tears and a hole in my wallet. In desperation I decided to try one last place before chopping my locks completely off. I randomly chose Revolution, well maybe not totally random, I thought the name was cool.
Well, I am happy to say that my experience ROCKED!!
Jerri Kicks so much butt!
Not only did she give me the hottest hair cut I have ever received, but the color turned out perfect! I have black hair, and time after time I ask stylist to add some purple or something fun, but it never turns out. Well Jerri succeeded! Two months later, my color is still shining! (time for a root touch)
I have no clue what those other reviews are about-- someone just having a bad day I suppose. I think that Jerri is a talented artist, and fun to talk to as well. I seriously can't believe how amazing my hair looks!
I have gotten so many compliments on the cut and the color.

I went to Revolution Salon based on its rave reviews on Citysearch, and I was not disappointed. I was nervous about getting my eyebrows waxed for the first time because I didn't want too much to be taken off and be left with pencil-thin eyebrows. Betsy listened to exactly what I wanted and I had great looking eyebrows when I walked out. She was quick and it was fairly painless, considering the obvious. She definitely knows what she's doing and is highly recommended.

I have been getting my hair done by Betsy for a couple years now and she is the absolute best! I moved across the country and had only ever had my hair done by my mom, who is a stylist, and I was very nervous about a new person doing my hair. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease that I now only let her do my hair. The prices are awesome especially for the work she does. She is so friendly and personable, quite the diamond in the ruff. Also the owner Jerri is super sweet too. They always make you feel so welcome and part of the family. I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone! I'll never go anywhere else!

I came upon Revolution Hair Salon because of the rave reviews from Citysearch! I was looking for a new stylist and heard Kelly was great... so I booked an apt with her and have been going ever since! She truely listens to what you are asking for and takes her time to do a good, complete job. I have gone to other places where you tell them a look you're after, and they butcher it. I would hands down recommend this place to anyone! The entire staff is great and friendly, not to mention they try and fit me in no matter what they have to do! Thanks ladies!!!!!!!!!

After reading all the reviews, I just had to check it out for myself. I am so very sorry I did. Maybe this was an off day for my stylist Jerri. She did not cut my hair even and did a poor job styling it. I had to go elsewhere to get it recut evenly. I also had my eyebrows waxed and that too was uneven and pencil thin. SO VERY DISAPPOINTING, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I've been getting my hair cut at Revolution for awhile now by Diana and she does the most amazing job ever. The entire staff is really warm and friendly and very attentive to clients' needs -- moreso than any other salon I've been to. I recently had my brows butchered elsewhere and went to Revolution to get them waxed after letting them grow out for awhile. My thanks goes out to Jerri for giving me what may be the best wax I've ever had in my life. I've never been so pleased with my eyebrows before!

This salon rocks my socks off everytime I go there. Jerri kicks major booty at everything she does, including running a buissness. I don't know who this "veeva" person is, but I think they are just some poor bitter person who has never sat in Jerri's chair.
I'm treated like a princess everytime I go and I go a lot. I'm probably in there getting waxing, facials or hair about twice monthly. I'm addicted to these wonderful people and the excellent service they give.
I've recieved practically every service they offer there, and never had a bad experience. Jerri pampers me in the facial chair like I was royalty and all the girls cut and color hair like true artists. I have friends and family who go to them because of my recomendations and still go there because of the great service.
So whomever you are that wrote that bogus review, put up your dukes 'cause I'm willing to fight anyone so rude as you!

I have been getting my hair done at Revolutions for over a year now. I went there because a friend recommended them, and the last place I had been really did a terrible cut... so I went to Revolutions to get it fixed, Betsy, and Dianna have both done my hair and they do the best job ever! These ladies are professionals and know what they are doing. I have watched the owner, Jerry do hair while mine is being done, and she is amazing also. This is a salon with really great stylists. Its a MUST if your need a good stylist.

I have been coming to Revolution since it opened and was extremely shocked to read "the highly not recommended" review written on 4/10. Not only have I (and my family) been treated professionally, but the staff is highly experienced and friendly. The atmosphere at Revolution is fun and comforting. I'm sure that if anything bad ever happened to me, the staff there would be the first to admit and rectify it. I have turned many of my friends onto Jerri and her Revolution and they keep going back. I don't imagine that will change anytime soon.

I had my hair colored and cut by the owner Jerri. She totally ruined my hair and my outfit. The coloring was done poorly and the cut was noticeable uneven. She even got coloring on my clothes which happened to be white and of course she didn't say anything. I later found several large sized color stains on my back. I also had to point out things to her that didn't look right or even, but it didn't get any better. She even asked other stylists for advice on what to do. Needless to say my hair was a mess and I went to another salon to fix her mistakes a few days later. The other stylist I went to was sick while looking through my hair at what a crappy job Jerri. She also let me know I wasn't the only one this has happened to and knows of others Revolution horror stories.

I was nervous in choosing a new salon. I just moved across the country and seached here for a new salon. WOW! Extremely pleasant! I got a terrific color and haircut! I was gently helped to find product for my hair. I felt completely at ease.
Easy to find location for someone who has just moved. For me, the parking was not a problem.
I really cant say enough about how wonderful the ladies are! Easy to talk to and extremely helpful. I look forward to coming back again and again. I was offered so much more than just new hair color. I was treated to a beverage if I was inclined. I really felt like Diana listened to me about what I wanted to do with my hair, and had the benefit of her expertise. I appreciate the time that she took to make sure that she was not only going to do what I wanted, but what would work for me. I am amazed at the changes in my hair since I have moved. I have curly hair that just seemed to go completely crazy now that I have moved here. I came in with boring hair and left feeling completely renewed! I have hair that works for me here.
By taking the time to get to know me, they have already helped me to make future appointments that will work for me. This little extra attetion is very much appreciated.

I have been getting my hair done at Revolution since they opened, and I have been highly satisfied every single time! Everyone that works there is so friendly and accomodating, and they always give me good advice on how I should change my hair, or what would look good. It was the first place I've ever been truly satisfied on how the coloring turned out on my hair. They are very knowledgeable about which hair colors will actually work on my hair. I am just so lucky to have found revolution.

Everyone was really nice, but the stylist didn't do a very good job. It was uneven, cut way to short, and she didn't style my hair. I don't like walking out of a salon with a wet head. To me that isn't even finished. For $45.00 I expect my hair to be cut even, dried, and styled . Sorry, not happy.

I kept complementing people at my office about how their hair looked so great and finally found out that they had all gone to this salon. So I made an appointment and loved what Jerri the owner did for me. I am not a very "girly girl" and Jerri recognized that (and the fact that I was a newly empty-nester so needed a boost) and so I let her be creative and she decided a little color would be fab and did not push an extreme new cut. I plan on going back soon for another dose of color and maybe a little more fun cut. I totally loved the super relaxed atmosphere and great conversation as well. Can't wait to find time to go back!

I got a haircut a week ago at Revolution Spa and it was the best one I have ever had! I did a dramatic change from very long to short and my stylist Jerri was so helpful in recommending the right type of style. It looks so cute and I have been receiving compliments everywhere I go! The new look is very flattering and I am so glad I went there based on all the great reviews on this site. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing and they made me feel very comfortable. Also I decided to donate the hair that was cut to Locks of Love and they were more than willingly to help with that and took care of all the paperwork and mailing the hair in and everything. I also got an eyebrow wax while I was there and Jerri did a fantastic job on that as well. She is very concerned with making sure the customer is happy and she knows what they want. She even offered to let me come back in the next week for any changes should my haircut not be satisfactory. She also went over coloring options with me when I inquired. I will definately be back and would highly recommend this salon to anyone wanting a great professional cut.

I just had the best color and highlights ever from my stylist, Kellie. When I went to work the next day, everyone I walked by complimented my hair color. Even two men noticed! Kellie does a great job. She changes my highlights based on the season and always picks out something perfect for me. Everyone in the salon is pleasant, nice and professional. I love the atmosphere; very comfortable setting. I'm telling all my friends to have their hair done here! I've also had Molly "do" my nails, and she also was very professional and totally fun to talk with.

The staff is pleasant, professional and skilled. They take pride in the services they offer and it shows in their work. My hairstylist, "Betsy" is one of the best stylists I have ever experienced. It has taken me a long time to find someone who was willing to take the time to get to know the good and bad about my hair. "Betsy" was patient, gentle and very educational for what was best for me and my hair. She does amazing work and is very savvy with style and color. More importantly, she loves to makes you smile and has truly taught me how to love my hair.

I would recommend this hair salon for anyone. The staff makes you feel like you are family and yet still offers you professional courtesy. For me, being a business owner, I truly appreciate when another business can balance skill and friendliness. Their love and passion for what they do, definitely shows. ~Kelly

As a guy, I was a bit skeptical about going to a hair salon for the first time, but it was worth it. After looking under these "Citysearch" reviews, I was convinced that Revolution Hair was the place to visit. Scheduling a reservation ahead of time, Betsy was my stylist. When I told her I wanted a new hairstyle, she totally knew what I wanted. She was very friendly throughout the haircut, giving me tips on how to style my hair as well as getting to know my personal side. I ended up with an amazing fauxhawk and a big smile. I can't wait to show my friends back in California. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND REVOLUTION HAIR!

I JUST got back from Revolution. I went from having hair down my back to cut under my chin! I was so scared to do it, I was nervous and terrified. Betsy put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. She gave me tips on how to keep my hair looking and feeling healthy, she was personable and friendly, I just love her! And, I LOVE MY HAIR! I have never had it this short before but I am totally thrilled. Revolution is easy to find, has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, good music and I didn't have any problems with parking. My boyfriend sat there the whole time and waited for me to get done and they even entertained him. He was very against me getting my hair cut off but he adores it! The owner, Jerri, is awesome! She called me back promptly to schedule an appointment and got me in just an hour after I called! EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT! I will never go anywhere else!

I've gotten my hair cut at Revolution twice by the owner, Jerri Kangrga. She effectively cured me of my phobia of short hair - after bad haircut after bad haircut she showed me that I, too, could rock the short locks, and corrected some truly awful self-done box-color by adding some fun highlights. Everyone who works at the salon is totally personable and amazing - giving super-positive feedback during the haircut and just generally being conversational and completely fun. I have never liked any haircut I've ever gotten before I went to Revolution, and now I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else. Going to get my hair cut or getting any sort of professional esthetic upkeep has always been something I feared, but now I look forward to experiencing many more firsts at Revolution : next stop - facials and waxing!

I started going to Revolution because it was close to my previous employment and now I go because I can't imagine wanting to go anywhere else! The outside looks almost like an old-fashioned saloon, but inside it's very modern and hip~ with really comfortable prices. From the first hair cut, my fabulous stylist-Betsy, made me feel at ease and she was confident about my hair, although hers was totally different than mine. The staff is great! So many great women who care so much about the details~both in your look as well as with what's going on in your life! It's a great atmosphere! Betsy did my Up-Do for my wedding, which was New Year's Eve~ And she still came in just for me~and made me feel she would've done it for anyone else! Service is just as important as expertise and I can't imagine anyone else being more fixated on that! My hair looked amazing! It felt so great to be confident that I would look great and knowing that I got EXACTLY the style I wanted! They have hip music, a nice urban feel, stylists from all backgrounds that know what's instyle and what fits each person. It's so important to get ideas on what's on the cover of magazines but still be supported if you want something totally different than that. They have lots of nail and spa services that I still am wanting to be able to do soon! If you live close to the Barbur area~or even if you live further away~it's REALLY worth the drive.

I found Revolution on citysearch a few months ago. My regular salon was closed and I was looking for a last minute haircut appointment. They were able to get me in on very short notice and I left very pleased with my new haircut. Since then I've been back for eyebrow waxes and every time I leave happy with the results. Everybody is very friendly and really works with you to make sure you are getting what you want. I will continue to go to Revolution for all of my beauty needs.

I usually go to another salon but my stylist was out of town and I had to get my hair colored and cut ASAP for an event I was going to that weekend. I drove by Revolution a few days before so I decided to look it up online. I saw it had pretty good reviews so I decided to check it out. The inside is decorated very nicely, and the staff are very friendly. But that is the ONLY good thing about this salon!! I got a cut and color. The cut was VERY VERY uneven. Strands longer than others, she did a horrible job layering my hair as well. I picked a color out and it turned out NOTHING like the color I chose even though this "professional" hair stylist next to me told me it would. I also ended up paying MORE than I would at my other stylist....definitly not worth my money! I cried when I got home. I have never had such a horrible hair cut/color since I went to a beauty school about 4 years ago. I'm not kidding. It was that bad. I would never recommend this salon to anybody.

I recently tried Revolution Hair and Body Salon and I am hooked! Not only is it an easy Southwest Portland location, the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and I could not be happier with my cut and color. I have received more compliments on my hair and that means a great deal to a busy mom of three. Tired of living with substandard hair cuts?

You don't have to. Revolution is awesome. Not only do I get a PERFECT cut every time I go... they also remember my name. All I can say is hurry in NOW before they realize they are the best in town and raise their prices!

I have had my hair cut there by different stylists and they all are true professionals. Why waste time and money somewhere else?

The gals at Revolution are not just customer-service style friendly--they are genuine women who connect on personal level while providing outstanding hair & nail services. They communicate clearly and directly about your services and expectations. My first time to Revolution, my cousin and I received side-by-side pedicures which were fantastic. Then, we both had haicuts, also fantastic. My cousin had highlights done and was thrilled with the quality of the results. I had acrylic fingernails done and they turned out beautifully. When I needed to get them filled two weeks later, Revolution was able to get me right in and do another beautiful job. I'm hooked!!

Revolution Hair and Body Salon is by far the friendliest salon in town. They cater to your every need. I am a frequent customer for hair services. In fact my entire family is taken care of here. I loved the service I received for hairstyling so I decided to try some of the other services offered at thesalon. The esthetician Gigi, is phenomenal. I loved the products they used and her technique was fabulous. My skin felt great after the facial. What I really liked was the attention to detail and how my skin looked after the treatment. I've had facials at some other well known spas in the area and this one by far surpassed my expectations! Bottom line is great customer service, great products and I look and feel great!

The Salon was clean and the people very friendly. I filled out paperwork and was taken in for my facial immediately. The salon is small so the music is appropriate where they are cutting/styling hair but when you are trying to relax for a facial it competes with the other music. A lot of street noise (right on busy Barbur). The facial itself was AVERAGE. No sink in the room. The esthetician spent very little time doing massage and what was done was very "hurried" so not terribly relaxing.

Revolution has been nothing but a great experience everytime I've gone there. Whether it's downstairs in a private tanning area, or in the private massage room or upstairs in the esthetician's room or out in the salon, each place within Revolution is unique and special. The esthetician there is hands down, the best "waxer" I've ever had. She even does the best Brazilian's! The owners, Jerri and Kevin are just super. They really make you feel a part of their family. They have energy and style that just keeps you radiating for the day! Everyone there is great and unique. Check them out for a full day of pampering!

Pros: Private areas for each type of service, super easy to find. Right on/off the Freeway.

Cons: On Barbur so it's a bit noisier, but they really do a good job of creating a peaceful place

Revolution is just that. This is a small spa, but big on customer service and friendliness. The employees will make you feel like you have known them forever. They have a wide variety of services ranging from the usual hair and nails to massage, tanning etc. There prices are competetive with other salons. I felt nutured, pampered and in the end given more than I could have ever expected. You see, I have the most naturally curly hair you have ever seen. I needed a change. A change to help motivate me to change some things. I walked into REVOLUTION without an appointment and was immediately greeted by friendly and smiling folks ready to assist me with anything I wanted. I had to be somewhere in 4 hours and after 3and a half hours and 2 employees giving me their every moment of care, I walked out of REVOLUTION a new woman. I have straight hair now and love it. Thank you REVOLUTION for CARING ENOUGH TO GIVE ME YOUR VERY BEST!!

I've always wanted to color my hair. I'd seen Revolution while driving on Barbur and it just "felt" like the right place to go, but I didn't have the time. Finally, I was able to get in there and give my hair to the professionals at Revolution. What a fantastic experience!

Jerri and the other staff members were supportive and excited for me, peeking in from time to time to check the progression without being intrusive. The customer service was superb. I was walked through the entire process from beginning to end, and I felt like I knew what to expect in the end.

Betsy gave me the exact look that I wanted with little guidance. She was a consummate professional and so skilled! My hair felt fantastic and I looked a decade younger after the experience.

I'm addicted! When got home, I walked in and took off my hat. My husband gave me a look that could have melted glass! I sent the before and after pictures to all of my friends via email and they were ecstatic.

The salon was clean, tidy, and hip, and the music was great, not the usual tired garbage at other beauty places. I haven't tried their other services, but I intend to go back! Highly recommended.

The first time i got my hair done at Revolution was also my first time i ever dyed my hair. I knew i wanted a little bit of a different look but when it comes to dying my hair, i am clueless. I had Jerri, Kevin, and Dianna all helping to decide what would be the best look and products for my hair. They gave me a very "hip" color job that i love and now i have been back two more times. Everyone in the salon is very easy-going and friendly, they are professional and make sure you are happy before leaving. I especially liked the way everyone worked together in deciding what would look best on me, with my hair color and style. The location was very convienent for me, its near where i live and work (haha). My boyfriend also likes my hair a lot and has told me multiple times how "hot" i look with it done. Thanks Jerri :)

I was able to book a last-minute appointment with Betsy for a relaxer, and I could not be happier with my experience! Betsy and all other staff at Revolution were extremely friendly without the extreme fake sugar coating that comes with the small talk in some salons. Everyone was professional, yet easy going. Betsy checked with me often to ensure my comfort and to discuss my desired hairstyle. She did a great job! The relaxer and her styling job created the neat, sleek look that I was going for! Thank you so much! I'll be back!

My boyfriend and I just cut our dreads off- after 6 years of down-to-our-butt growth! Needless to say, after we were done, our hair was a mess... some short pieces, some long, and we knew exactly how we wanted our hair to look. Well, Revolution delivered! My boyfriend looks soooo cute with his "I had a mow-hawk but it's kinda grown out" look, and my super short and sassy tossled, messy, and EASY style is (as he tells me constantly) super HOT! Thank you revolituon!!! You rawk. ;0)

I have been to Revolution twice to have my nails done and each time I was very satisfied. I definately got what I paid for and my pedicure lasted for like three weeks! The staff are all very friendly and genuinely interested in you. I have been looking for a salon to go to to get my nails done that is not a chop shop and I am glad to say that I have found it. As long as I live in the area, Revolution will be the only place I go to get my nails done. They are just so great and I love them! You should totally go!

Pros: Friendly staff, convenient location, clean and sanitary

Cons: Not a lot of parking but it has never been a problem

I liked the services I've received at Revolution very much and will keep coming back. I've been there several times trying out a couple things each time--got my hair cut, nails done, brows tinted and waxed, had a facial, and so on. Each service has been exactly what I hoped for and asked for, the people are great and work as a team rather than a small group of individual specialists. Very friendly people, competant and professional, in a nice environment. Definitely a find.

Revolution is a brand new salon and I highly recommend it. The stylists were very good and took a lot of time with each customer to ensure amazing results. It had a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone was very friendly and upbeat. I've never enjoyed a salon experience and the overall product more than Revoltion Hair and Body Salon.

A wonderful, relaxing, and restorative experience. Walking in the front door, you immediately feel welcome at Revolution. The facial room was preped in advance for my arrival--calming music and even candlelight! so I felt special and pampered from the start. Jerri has a very gentle touch and was very professional and skillful. My skin looks and feels wonderful. I especially enjoyed the neck, scalp and shoulder massage: what a fantastic way to recover from a challenging workday! The place is very conveniently located, the experience was great, the people friendly and competant. Highly recommended.
