Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos

I applied for a loan on a new honda via the Norm Reeves internet site. The application was extensive, and claimes I would get a decision in minutes. After giving out ALL of my personal info online, I waited for an answer to come back. No reply from anyone. After 2 days, I called and asked for the internet manager, Dell came on the phone stating he was the internet manager. He said he found my application and did not know why anyone had contacted me. He said my credit score showed at 652 and there should be no problem getting me financed with the trade I had plus cash down. He said he would look over my application and call me back in a few minutes. Another 2 days went by with no reply. Over these 4 days I called 6 times and sent 6 emails and got no reply from anyone. I used one of my private buisness lines on my application. Now, I am receiving all kinds of telemarkiting calls which I never have before. I think their internet site is just a SCAM to get ALL of your personal info to sell it to the highest telemarketer. I have since shopped at BUENA PARK HONDA, and their customer service and communication has been great. I would recommend ALL to stay away from NORM REEVES HONDA at all costs. Just look at all the bad reviews they have on yahoo reviews, dept of consumer affairs and BBB, and other consumer review boards. It is HORRIBLE!!!!

I agree with the other poster that norm reeves honda cerritos is obviously writing great reviews for themselves on this ratings site. How fake.
Been to this place a couple times. Once when I was car shopping (luckily I didn't buy a car from them and bought it elsewhere). And the second time, just recently, with a friend. He got the car he wanted, but it was awful going through the purchasing process with them, especially with the finance guy. He ended up paying more than he should have.
Stay away from this place. Bad customer service.

I brought a 2008 Honda civic coupe,

I wanted a certain price for the car/monthly but was unable to get that price so we agreed to a price that was higher then what I wanted, but it wasn't too high, then 2-3 weeks later they called and said the bank couldn't finance me and that they needed an additional thousand dollars, I was going to give the car back!!

Then they said they will make the price of the car lower, and as well lower the monthly note..Why didn't they do that before?

And why call 2-3 weeks later? It was almost a month later!!

I told the sales person that I was unwilling to go over a certain amount of money on a car. I asked if he was willing to make a deal. He said he would check with the manager. 20 minutes later he came back with a price $3,000 more than I was willing to spend. I explained that it wouldn't make sense for me to spend so much and that I didn't want to go back and forth all day. He told me to wait a few minutes. 10 minutes later he came back and took $100 off the last price. I thanked him for his time and asked for my ID back. He said ok and 15 minutes later he came back with the manager who explained that they couldn't go any lower. I said that I could do better elsewhere and asked for my ID back. He said ok. 20 minutes later the sales person returned and asked me what I thought about this other car he had. I told him that I want to leave, and asked for my ID back. He said ok. 10 minutes later he returned and said his manager was making a phone call to see if he could meet the original price I said I was willing to pay. I walked into the managers area and demanded my ID back. The salesperson had my id in a folder that he was carrying the whole time but he didn't want to give it back to me until I bought something so he could make his commission. I was too angry to conduct business with these people. I will never return to Norm Reeves again. I will tell everyone that I know to stay away from there.. Why would anyone have to ask 4 times for a salesperson to return their Drivers license. Extremely unproffessional.

Notice how all the dates are the same and the same at the time that all these people wrote reviews. Stay off the site Mr dealer and let the customers do the reviews!! Why make up stuff that is not true! if you are a reputable dealer then customers will let us know. Not you guys making stuff up!

I went to Norm Reeves to look for a Civic 2D EX 5AT and in the time I was there I experienced the best quality service. Dan Sandu, my sales rep,was so amazing he found me a really great deal with payments that were affordable and interest to die for. I will be returning for further purchases.

I bought my certified 2005 Honda Odyssey from Norm Reeves Honda Superstore in Cerritos and had an awesome experience. They had a great selection, a friendly sales staff, and it was the fastest transaction I have ever made. What took me there was I went on line searching for a van and Norm Reeves Honda had the best price with the lowest miles I could find. It's no wonder they are #1. You should go there.

We came in to look at the new '08 Accord coupe V6 and there we found one of the best sales man Julius.Honestly he made my first Honda experience so easy. He and his sales team did a great job in working with us until we were satisfied.

The thing that i liked most about Norm Reeves is that they don't give you the "Run Around" like you see at most dealerships they give it to you straight foward.I would defintetly recomend NRH to friends and family.

I love Norm Reeves!!! Honestly, service like this can't be found anywhere else. Since i got off my car and walked towards the showroom door every sales person that i walked greeted me.Then as i walked towards the receptionist desk and asked her to see Patrick(my salesguy) and she was so nice!! usually other dealers lag and take their time on getting ahold of your sales rep and the wait is frustrating,but not at Norm Reeves, she actually stoped what she was doing to assist me. Once Patrick came out it was smooth sail...everything!!! im so happy with the service that i received and will continue to receive at Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos.

Bought a CRV. Contract has option to finance through a credit union. Fine...standard. The thing that ticked me off is the option expires on Sunday and when the payoff check came, via FedExp,
the following day, Monday, contract was already with American Honda. They held the check . They did nothing. Didn't call me, the buyer, nor the Credit Union..This is clearly a scam. What else would you call this... Low, low...very very low. Never will recommend buying through this dealer, Norm Reeves.

They were ultimately fair and I got a decent deal, but do your homework. I had been in contact with several dealers, but went here in response to a holiday promotion. Read the fine print, and take notes if you talk to someone over the phone. They are all about their bottom line, and aren't giving it up easy.

The salesman lied to me. He said there were no markups on the vehicle. After the test drive, he showed me a markup with additional accessories which came to over $3000. I wanted the car, so I paid it. At the end of the evening, after the 4-hour process, the finance manager then sold me a car alarm system with features that I later found are exactly like the manufacturer's alarm that comes with the vehicle. These guys are scamming customers. Beware. I will never buy a car from them again and will warn my friends.

I went on a weekend to the biggest Honda dealership in Southern California. Norm Reeves Honda is centrally located and has the pros and cons of a big dealership.

If you want personalized attention and lots of time to sit around and make small talk, this may not be the dealer for you. They run huge volume and, especially on weekends, they don't want to waste a lot of time on you.

Come prepared with your bottomline number and after 15 minutes they'll tell you YES or NO. That's so much more refreshing than the other dealers who want to string you along for 2 hours.

PROS: Fast, Big, Huge Selection
CONS: Impersonal, Busy

My friend bought her car from here and I went with her to help her on purchasing her Honda Civic. They had ok service. While purchasing her car I noticed they had lots of unncessary charges which shouldn't be there. So when you shop at this place make sure you go through very well. Also, be careful on the features when sales person is introducing that for you. You might discover different surprises when you open user's manual.

Many years ago I bought my 1992 Honda Prelude (used). The salesman said he would throw in a free cell phone at the time, but without us knowing it, he really charged us like $100 for it! He also said he would throw in a nail-polish bottle size of cover-up paint, which he ended up charging us for, unbeknownst to us. They are the largest dealership in S. CA but make sure you look at all the paperwork to make sure they are not charging you unnecessarily for items.

Although this place has a lot of cars, they lack in the customer service area. I had a problem with my brakes and they said take it over to Long Beach Honda and have them test is out because we don't have any hills in this area. They help out a lot before the purcahse of the car, but afterwards it's like you're on your own. They don't even send reminders for service check-ups and LB Honda does. Again, I purchased my car from Norm Reeves!!
