The Quint Eby Salon is a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing salon. The decor is amazing, the people are wonderfully kind and the location is great. I never have a hard time finding parking. Quint has been foiling my hair for about 15 years, and he is the best. I always leave his salon feeling refreshed and looking my absolute best. I would highly recommend Quint and his salon to anyone.

I love Quint Eby Salon. Quint is an amazing stylist and colorist -- and I love that he uses Pureology products (not only cruelty-free but vegan!). It's a beautiful space, conveniently located in Belltown, and everyone there is courteous and professional. I always leave feeling relaxed and glamorous.

i have had Mark do my hair twice now, and each time it turns out GREAT! He really listens to what you want, and works with you to get it. He's not afraid to offer suggestions, but they are always very helpful! I wouldn't trust anyone else with cutting or coloring my hair!

Mark David has done my hair for a few years and he is simply the best. Mark not only understands curly hair & understands the theory of reversion, (those with curly hair know what I mean) he's a master with color too - doing things that simply amaze me & in return provide tons of compliments too and isn't that why we have our hair done after all, hello!. He has a style is cutting edge, and his personality is second to none. He's one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. MD is always open to what you the, "client wants"- rather than "what he the stylist wants to do". Although I have seen him for so long, most of the time I just let him create - after all that's what an Artist should do, be creative right! The salon has a very urban, mod, hip soho kind of vibe to it. You feel welcomed from the very second you step through the door. The employees work together and are terrific team. The parking couldn't be better easy to find and the hours are so client friendly - Mark and owner Quint work on Sundays so try and find another place downtown that is actually open on a Sunday!

i have had several cuts by Mark and every time i have had great comments on how much younger i look.
on the whole. my experiences have been always a great greeting at the door and a good conversation while being cut and styled. the friendly staff and attention to all my needs were met. if i asked for it... it came as soon as possible.

This salon has a high end appeal for half the price. The staff was pleasant and welcoming, the Asian inspired decor was serene and together it creates a wonderful atmosphere. I recommend you ask for Mark he is highly experienced and entertaining. :)

Today was my second visit to Quint Eby. He has cut my hair twice and highlighted it once. I have been very happy with my services. I live upstairs so it is so convenient to have a nice salon in the building. He also does a wonderful head massage at the sink. He is fun to talk to and very sweet. I would highly recommend him.

I've been going to Quint Eby since they opened. My hair always looks awesome when I leave. This place isn't stuck up or TOO cool. It's layed back but very professional atmosphere. I love it there PLUS they have Pureology and Davines...animal/earth friendly and that's very cool. Thanks guys! :)

Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment at Quint Eby because of my schedule. So, and I hate to say this, I just go to whoever has an opening at the time I need. I have never been disappointed with my haircut there. Everyone is so talented and friendly. I feel safe going to anyone there. I have had my hair cut by Kelly, David and Sabrina. I recommend all of them.

The minute you walk in the door you will be at ease...the atmosphere is really relaxing, the people are super friendly (the kind that remember your name), and of course the haircut is perfect. I leave the details up to the specialists and they do right by me everytime. I just show up and leave the rest to them!

I went to Quint Eby and got a great color and cut by Sabrina and Quint. Sabrina did my cut and Quint did my color. They are both extremely professional and highly trained. My color is vibrant and my cut accentuates my bone structure. I agree with the other reviews that stated what a wonderful salon this is. It does not have the LOUD Hip Hop music that rattles your nerves. It is cool and calming. The salon itself is open and quite lovely. Modern. It has excellent artwork on the walls. I could tell a lot of thought was put into the appeal of it's simplicity and clean lines. I felt very comfortable there. They also offered me a $5 Prebook Discount on my next service. I think that is a great offer because it reserved my time plus I save $$$. Plus, I just love my hair! I will be back. Thanks Sabrina and Quint.

This salon is like what I am used to in L.A.! It has a downtown feel AND a neighborhood feel. Prices were moderate to high. Service was EXCELLENT. I brought my dog, Baby, and even she was welcome! I saw the dog treats in the window and thought it would be OK if I brought my Baby. She likes it there too! I'm glad Quint didn't bring his dog that day though! LOL

I moved to downtown Seattle from L.A. about a 3 years ago. Seattle is the hardest place to find a good colorist. I searched and searched for that perfect foil. I tried every top salon you can think of in this TINY city until one night I met Quint at a Birthday Party for a mutual friend. He told me about his salon in Belltown and the services they offer there. He was so sweet. He gave me his card and I called him in like a month. When I arrived at the salon he totally remembered me! I knew he would do a great job because I also met one of his clients at the party too and her hair was VERY pretty and the perfect shade of blonde. The one I like.

The receptionist had me change into a robe and offered me a glass of wine while I relaxed in the waiting area. Quint escorted me back to his station himself and I got a consul. He knew exactly what I was talking about and mixed up my secret formula. He was so fast, efficient and friendly. We had a lot to talk about. He knows whats up in Belltown. He processed my color until it was perfect and then did the most incredible shampoo and scalp massage I have ever experienced. We also did a gloss for added shine.

The end result was the most beautiful color I have ever had and I mean EVER. It is just what I wanted. Quint is the best. I hope this review helps you to decide to go there. I think you will like it there too. :)

If you want to know whats going on in Seattle GO TO THIS SALON! I went in to see Quint Eby himself for highlights and he made a shade of blonde especially for me. The result is beautiful. Nobody ever did my color this nice before. After we dished the dirt, I got a heads up on where to go in Belltown. I cant stay at home when I look this good! j/k "No, love YOU!" haha Quint will get it if he ever reads this. His place is cool yet calm and serene. Relaxing. Great music. Organic coffee. Japanese Green Tea. ..and yes...the nectar of the Gods...WINE! Nice. It's a neighborhood salon that just happens to be in a prestigious neighborhood...BELLTOWN.

Quint Eby Salon is everything everyone says about it and more. A wonderful, quiet oasis with superb professionals (and the very nicest people). Toyo is an AWESOME talented stylist at this terrific salon! I'll bet his color is just as suberb as his cuts are. Every few months I come into Seattle on business from Texas and always visit the wonderful folks at Ottica for my glasses. June trip I was complaining so much about the really awful cut and color I had gotten in Austin, that they got on the phone and made me an appointment for a cut with Toyo, an amazing!!!!! wizard with scissors. After over 15 minutes of analyzing my hair, face shape, body type, and overall look, Toyo spent an hour and 1/2 very precisely dry (yes dry) cutting of my crazy curly/wavy hair and produced a versatile look that I can style casually or more finished. The shampoo and head massage were a revelation and the styling tips Toyo gave me as he finished my hair were the best I've ever gotten. The best thing: this cut works as well in the hot humidity of Texas as it did in the cool damp of Seattle. Finally, hair I can travel with without tons of product and tools, and I don't dread what my hair will look like each day - every single day I get compliments on my cut. Just yesterday, having not even combed my hair after spending 3 hours doing Pilates and yoga, 2 women stopped me in the grocery store to ask me where I get my hair cut! One of them was planning a trip to Seattle so I gave her Toyo's card, the other was very dissappointed as there are no stylists and no salons comparable in Austin (just shops that do variations on big Texas highlighted and straightened hair). P.S. Don't worry about a language barrier with Toyo. Unfortunately I don't speak Japanese but that doesn't matter, Toyo knows what is the best look for each individual and is excellent at teaching you how to style when you aren't at the salon. It's a long distance to go for a great cut by an artist but worth it!!

When I moved back to Seattle I found out Quint had opened his own salon in Belltown! I was so happy to find this out online. He is the only person who has ever been able to do my highlights the way I like it. I have fine hair and it is hard to work with. The salon is beautiful. I had a great experience there. The employees at Quint Eby Salon are very friendly and professional. They are also cool and upbeat. I love going there. I am so glad I found him again. Kudos, Quint! :)

Thank you for such a beautiful cut and color. My hair has never looked so good. From the moment I arrived, I was treated in a very genuine and professional manner. I felt nervous at first since it was my first time there. I changed into a robe and was served Organic coffee. I saw Quint and David for my hair services. WE had a group consultation. They gave me a recommendation just for me and I am so happy I decided to take it. My hair looks gorgeous. The salon is very nice. Overall, it was a relaxing experience that made me feel pampered. I will definately return.

Everyone treats you well at the Quint Eby Salon. I am really picky and Quint has always
made me feel welcome and he listens to me, unlike alot of other stylist. I really appreciate having someone treat me in a professional manner. I have been a groupie of Quint for years and I am so delighted he has his own salon. He is the master of hair color and hospitality. Coloring hair can be a daunting experience but not with Quint in charge. Quint brings his vast knowledge, experience and talent of hair to the chair and the result is a fabulous look every time! Quint does such an amazing job and it looks so natural. Quint's salon is a relaxing and soothing environment, with a friendly personal touch. I look forward to my appointments at Quint's salon and spending time in the chair with such wonderfully talented professionals who's main objective is to make me look terrific who can beat that!

I ALWAYS look forward to my appointments at the Quint Eby Salon. In fact, a fabulous day is pretty much guaranteed on days when I have an appointment scheduled with David. He has been cutting & coloring my hair for years and that's because I usually feel like I'm a bit of a mess when I walk into the salon, but by the time I leave, I feel like I should be headed for the red carpet. The salon is chic, classy, soothing and full of urban style. Quint, the owner, is extremely hospitable and professional. Charlie recently worked wonders for me in the waxing department. I love telling people where I get my hair done because I feel like it's THE place to go to in Seattle. If you want to be pampered, have great conversations, smile, relax, and walk out the door with great hair, then booking an appointment at the Quint Eby Salon should be on your "to-do" list.

I moved to the Seattle area 9 months ago and I couldn't find the right place to go. This is it! I finally found it!!I've been there twice and both times I have had a great experience. The owner, Quint, is very friendly and VERY professional and so is the rest of the staff (thanks Linda and Charlie!). They listened to what I wanted and they really did the best job! I had a haircut, hair color and eye brows design. I went out the salon feeling like a celebrity :) The prices are very reasonable and I had no problem to find a parking spot. They also offered delicious coffee! I highly recommend this place, you won't feel disappointed! (I didn't!)

I have been going to see Quint for a while now, and love going to his salon. It is a very personalized experience - and a very serene environment. Quint does the best job on my hair color that I have ever received, and I've been getting my hair colored for about 10 years. The Quint Eby Salon was voted one of the best Salons in Seattle in 2006 for a reason!

I have been going to Quint now for over 10 years. I was so excited when he opened his own salon! He is the most talented colorist you can find! You really do feel a personal touch in his salon. Everyone is friendly, the decor is fabulous and I always walk out feeling a million times more beautiful then when i walked in.

I went to the Quint Eby Salon to get my hair high-lighted and loved his work. I have had my hair high-lighted before at other salons and always thought is was ok but Mr. Eby did an excellent job at blending and balancing the color and now I will go no where else to have my hair done. The staff is very friendly and warm and the atmosphere is very clean and welcoming. I hightly recommend his services.

So, my flight was delayed and arrived late into Seattle. I had been on an airplane all day due to the global warming weather conditions (snow) across the US. Time is limited... dinner at 800pm with a potential client. I get into the hotel and ask the concierge where the top hair salon was to get my hair done right. He directs me to Quint Eby Salon. A short cab ride from my downtown hotel. Lofty space with polished cement floors... love it! Huge art work exposed all over, definitely an urban feel. Warm friendly staff. Mr. Eby himself offered me a beverage and directed me to the changing rooms. From there I was transformed! I mean, it's wonderful that a salon squeezed me in at 645, fifteen minutes before they closed. Mr. Eby and his staff were so warm and inviting, great attitudes! After the day I had on a plane, wish I could take before and after pictures. Everything was excellent from my hair to the customer service. i give it an "A+++++". OPEN a Quint Eby Salon in Chicago please! I'll be back when I return to Seattle!

I moved to Seattle 4 years ago from LA and have had terrible experiences at several of the "top" salons in Seattle. I could not find a colorist as good as the one I used in LA. I was referred to Quint by a gal at work. Quint set me up on a plan to get my hair color evened out and healthy again. I found out I was using the wrong products too. After about 3 visits, he was able to completly fix my hair disaster. Now I look gorgeous ! I get compliments on my hair all the time. I also get my hair cut there by David. David taught me how to style my hair so I can recreate what he did at home. They have transformed me. I feel pretty again. The salon is very relaxing and they have thought of every detail. Finally, a salon worth going to in Seattle !

He is talented, kind and humble.

Go to Quint only if you want someone who is the best in the business at very reasonable cost.

The Salon is beautiful and relaxing and you will leave looking fantastic in a blink of an eye.

You deserve the best and when it comes to your hair you wear a bad hair day everyday if
the color is wrong.

I am so pleased with Quint and his team! Quint works miracles with color and David is the magic man with scissors. Between the two of them I no longer have any exscuse for a bad hair day. The Salon is beautiful, the atmosphere relaxing and the people fun. In other words, the ultimate hair/beauty experience.
There is nothing better than leaving the Salon knowing that you look REALLY good. What a treat.
