I love getting my hair cut and colored by Lisa. She always keeps my hair style fresh and has great suggestions for me. I swear I look and feel 10 years younger after she works her magic!

Love Lisa Power salon! Lisa is a wizard with hair - color, styling, you name it. She will help you keep your hair beautiful. And if you are looking for a change of image, update or something more drastic - there is no one else I would go

I have been a client of Lisas for about 15 years and I just love her and her work. I am so excited that she has her own salon now. The new digs are adorable and the staff is truly amazing. Her new salon is such a reflection of Lisas

I was in Seattle visiting family and had read the Allure magazine review on Sarah. My hair was about shoulder length and was grown out without any real shape. I told Sarah I wasn't sure what style but that I wanted to cut off a couple of inches and have some texture added. She looked at my hair and told my why she wanted to cut it a certain way based on my face shape. When she finished blow drying, she added texture and styled it. I love how she did my hair. She did a wonderful job and told me which product would be best for my new style. Sarah also showed me the best way to style my hair and how to get it to look great. I appreciated how she showed me little tips about my hair. Truly a great experience.

Having just recently moved to Seattle.... I was concerned about finding a new hair salon, especially since the same person had been doing my hair for 7 years. A co-worker suggested I try Lisa Power Salon and so I did. Best decision ever! \n\nMichelle is my stylist. She asked the right questions. She listened. She made good suggestions. And I ended up really happy. Excellent haircut... and perfect highlights (just the right color and really natural looking).\n\nI would highly recommend Michelle... and Lisa Power Salon. \n

What can I say about the awesome color I got from Leilia?\r\n\r\nFirst, the job was big - I have dark brown hair and have been 'self-covering' my grays with a box root touchup. This caused my root coverage to be darker than my natural color and over time, the black color started to creep down the rest of my hair, still leaving the ends my natural color. Black on top, brown on bottom.\r\n\r\nWhat a job Leilia had to correct this color...she had to deal with the fact that I needed to match the ends to the rest of my head but go lighter...not darker. Not an easy task.\r\n\r\nAfter just a couple visits of pulling the black out gradually while helping me walk out the door with a better matched top and bottom hair color, I left my recent visit with a color that IS my natural color!!!!!! But better!!!!!\r\n\r\nI've never felt more like myself. She found my natural color through the mess I'd created and brought me 'back home'.\r\n\r\nThank you Leilia!!\r\n\r\nNot to mention she's sweet, fun and really cares about how I feel when I walk out the door. She would NEVER let you walk out not feeling 110%. \r\n\r\nAsk for Leilia! You'll have fun AND look great!

This salon not only has the friendliest staff, but the service was frist rate. My stylist,Michelle, was very knowable about not only my hair, but my daughter's hair. My color is great and finally my hair is healthy looking. Love the people and this salon.

I'm share my joy in having discovered Lisa Power's salon in Queen Anne. After several bad ideas poorly done (color and hair relaxer that I've inflicted upon my hair, can't really blame anyone), I decided to try this salon. I met a customer who wears a vibrant dark red, the type I'd wonder every day how come it's not fading.... and read great reviews, but each experience is subjective. I also knew other stylists whose work is wonderful, so at first I battled skepticism: what can a new one do that I hadn't seen before? I have naturally curly hair and have been trying to grow it for the past 2 decades. Something however intervenes and either I'm exasperated with a pile of thick, un-rully, frizzy mess or I do something by way of color or execution which then requires cutting to get rid of damage. Michelle, a stylist at Lisa Power's, came in at such a time: I walked in with a chin length pile of heavily damaged, poorly colored frizzy mess and begged her to chop it off. She expertly and brilliantly reshaped it, keeping as much length as possible and showing me that there is a great way to grow it without sacrificing the sense of style and proportion. Sometimes a matter of a different angle in the cut, a relatively small adjustment can mean the world of a difference in proportion. Michelle restored a sense of well being: I don't struggle every day trying to style the hair into what it is not, but rather wear a good cut and use products that enhance nature. I look forward to our future appointments, to trying out styles and color. Even though everyone's joy when they meet a talented stylist is a rather subjective and individual find, when so many say the same about the same salon, it's got to be the testimony of a place worth checking. For anyone who thinks that great hair is not a privilege, it's something that can be done by a stylist with a vision and flair. Thank you, Michelle. Monica D.

I called for an appointment having been in Seattle only 5 weeks--I found this salon under Seattle MAgazine's Best Of , and that was no exaggeration! Corine ""got it"" the very first time, and I wouldn't go to anyone else. \r\nShe got the color perfect, she got the cut perfect, she listened and followed through. Can't possibly ask for more!\r\nEvery person in the salon has been most friendly to this new arrival-- I was made to feel welcome and completely at home right away. \r\nGirls, do not miss this place for excellent styling!

I started going gray at 17 and at 43, I was really tired of dying my hair dark brown. I decided to take the leap and make the transition to gray. I choose Jeremy Novak at the Lisa Power Salon because I saw a gorgeous gray haired woman - super stylish - working at Nordstrom downtown. She let me know that Jeremy was the best in Seattle for going gray. It has been a 6 month process and every single step of the way, I have received more compliments on my hair than I have in years. Jeremy lightened my hair and gave me the greatest sporty hair cuts. The whole process has been painless and actually fun!

The other day I came to Lisa Powers Salon for my first time...I have to tell you that I was so impressed with this place. It has a very quite and warm atmosphere and none of the crazy ""drama"" I have witnessed and hated at other salons. I am pretty paranoid with getting my hair cut and I basically told stylest Corinne that I wanted a cut but please don't cut!! :) She was wonderful and cleaned up my long over do for a haircut locks, styled it amazing and I was a very happy camper. Also quite pleasing was the price...very fair. I am already booked to come back in a few weeks for trim and highlights. All in all they have a new client and the old ""drama"" salon won't see me again.

I wanted to sincerely thank Lisa and Tina as well as the rest of Lisa Power salon staff for one of the most pleasant salon experiences I have ever had. Your salon offers highly trained professionals as well as a warm, comfortable atmosphere, which is surprisingly hard to find these days. As you know, I came in a complete mess, but Tina was able to work wonders. I have received multiple compliments on the dark hair colors Tina used, despite not being able to get the original highlights I was longing for. \r\n\r\n\r\nI truly appreciated the camaraderie between all the talented stylists and staff at your salon. It is so nice to see people collaborate, especially since my hair color was AWFUL when I came in. Let's face it, salons can be very ""catty"", but I didn't notice that at all while I was there. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOh and the lattes! Yummy!! So good and so relaxing :) And the Sea Salt spray is amazing!! Love it!!!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThanks again! See you and Tina in 8 weeks \r\n\r\n

My first visit to Lisa Power Salon was initially for a cut, but the day before I had let my friends mom practice highlighting hair on me... it was a mistake! My hair looked awful and I wasnt sure what to do, I went in to have Michelle do my hair at Lisa Powers and she was so nice and we re schedualed my cut for another time. She put a dye over the highlights and saved my hair, it ended up looking better then ever!\r\n The next week I went in for a cut and I was amazed by how much better my hair looked! The layers are perfect and everything is very even, im going back in two weeks to have more done! Michelle is a wonderful hair dresser and the salons atmosphere is the best! Strong recomendation!

Thanks to Michelle at the Lisa Power Salon, I just had the best makeover of my life!! Having just turned the big 5-0, I was starting to feel a little drab and dated. After an in-depth consultation with Michelle, she gave me fantastic advice about both a haircut and color that would compliment my face shape and skin tone. She really took her time with me and I appreciated how she explained the different steps along the way, as well as showing me how to recreate the style on my own. I love the little wispy razor cut she gave me! Also, I was really impressed with how supportive the stylists are of each other and the graciousness they show their guests. I felt like I was on a mini-vacation: a good mocha, a good magazine and a good conversation amongst friends. Keep it up you guys ? You?re the best!!

I had an amazing experience from start to finish. First of all, the salon was not hard to find and I had no problem finding parking (which is rare for Seattle). I went earlier in the day so that might have helped. The second I walked through the door I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who took my jacket and asked if she could get me something to drink. She made an awesome Latte for me. I felt so welcomed and comfortable here. The d?cor was really cute too. I met with Michelle for a trim and she was so nice! She sat down with me and gave me a full hair consultation and I felt like she really understood how I wanted my hair. I just went in to get a trim but I left looking and feeling amazing. She have me some side bangs, slight layers and trimmed all my hair up. Lisa even came to check on me periodically. I have nothing but positive things to say about this salon and I have recommended it to all my friends!

I had the best experience I've ever had at a salon! Let's start with the hair: I was a model for Michelle, and I got a haircut, highlights, and a cellophane. I left the salon feeling like a new woman! My hair was shiny, beautiful, great color that complimented my skin tone. It was exactly what I wanted! \nAnd as for the service, every single person there is delightful. You get to meet Lisa herself, and people constantly offer you drinks, magazines, anything to make you comfortable. Best of all, it's like a fun family there! I laughed and had great conversations while I was getting my haircut. I would especially recommend Lelia, who is one of the bubbliest and greatest people I've ever met, and Michelle, who is sweet and really talented.

If you're reading the review section on city search than you CLEARLY know how hard it is to find a good salon in Seattle. I was recommended to Lisa Power's by someone at work - and I have to say -- BEST SALON I've ever been to in any state I've lived in - From NYC to Seattle and quite a few cities in between. The talent, professionalism, cheerfulness & great love for what they do is apparent from the moment you walk in. \r\nI recently had a hair cut & style from Leila - and I loved my hair SOO much that I ended up coming back in for a color with Leila a week later!\r\n\r\nMy hair is medium to long & naturally curly so it can be a difficult mess to manage. Leila exceeded my expectations - giving me the perfect balance of layers to length. This lets me change it up from natural curls to blowing it out and it looks fantastic either way.\r\n\r\nDuring my cut, I mentioned to Leila that I was thinking of going to a sunny blonde color for a change. It could be tricky since my hair is a darker naturally - and I had colored it with red highlights in December. But - after seeing how great my cut was and hearing her ideas - I trusted her to see it through and back I went a week later.\r\n\r\nIt was challenging, lightening it up without turning the red into a pretty 'salmon' color - but she did it!! The best part was that she wasn't satisfied until it truly looked perfect. She insisted on taking one more step to add some darker tones to give my hair more dimension - and she was SPOT ON with that color. It looks great! AND seriously - its' in better condition than when I went in. \r\nI still can't believe how blonde and fabulous my hair looks! I feel fun & pretty every time I leave there! As good as it gets!\r\n\r\nLove Leila, Love Lisa Power, LOVE feeling great about the way my hair looks!!!

I have been going to Sarah for awhile now, and I have to say that she is simply the best! I like many other reviewers have been a lifetime salon goer, hopping from one stylist to the next until finally I found Sarah. For the first time I didnt feel like a fish out of water when it comes to hair and styling!! It had been all too many times in the past that I left with a decent looking style only to wake up and try to recreate the look with no avail. Sarah understands that not everyone is gifted with styling their own hair, and she understands the time constraints and demands of daily life and having an easy to maintain hairstyle. Sarah is a mom herself and understands, that sometimes you need a style that is easy to create in minutes, and color that is natural and beautiful. I highly reccomend Sarah, although I'm hesitant because I selfishly dont want the word to get out too much!! And, the lattes are amazing as well!!

I am a lifelong resident of Seattle. If I made a list of every salon I've tried.............Well, let's just say, it would be easier to list the salons I HAVEN'T tried!\r\n\r\nLisa Power Salon is a block west of Queen Anne Ave., on a quiet street, where they have several parking spaces reserved. On a week day it is easy to find a spot. That is a very nice touch. When you are driving through the city traffic, the last thing you want to do is look for street parking on Queen Anne! And afterward, you're not hiking three blocks through wind and rain, ruining your new do!\r\n\r\nTina has done my hair twice, now. I had long hair that I hadn't cut in a year. I needed a new style, color, highlights, deep conditioning, a cellophane, and my eyebrows tinted.\r\n\r\nThe salon is small, with lots of light, and everyone seems to have fun together. I have spoken with Lisa, and she is a dear. The stylists are employees, not individuals renting a chair. I think that is an important point. You have a cohesive team, and are more likely to get consistent results.\r\n\r\nAnyway, Tina is young enough to be my daughter, but I didn't feel any disconnect. She is fun, and efficient, and she didn't miss a beat. She gave me her opinion of what the color should be, which was different from my initial thought.(Blonde!) I decided to let her do what she wanted, and it all turned out spectacularly.\r\n\r\nShe is an excellent colorist as well as stylist. I have pictures of myself on my computer in various hair colors and styles, and the pictures of my hair after she did it are obviously superior. \r\n\r\nWhen I went back for my second appointment right before Christmas, I realized I was relaxed! It was like a spa day.\r\nIt is the first time in my LIFE, I've been relaxed getting my hair cut! I've always said I'd rather go to the dentist, and I am a SERIOUS micromanager!\r\n\r\nI had not had a moment to myself for about 2 months, and it was SO nice being able to use that time to relax, and not have to worry about every move the stylist was making.\r\n\r\nMy hair looked great again, and I felt so good with it freshly done for the holidays!\r\n\r\nThis is a fun salon, but not crazy and noisy. The staff are young, but extremely respectful and polite. There is no comparison between Lisa Power, and the crazy, impersonal, corporate salons. I highly recommend it, and Tina, too! I watched some of the other stylists, and they were putting out some beautiful work, as well! But, if you're in your fifties,(Okay, 58!) but don't want to look like it, call Tina!\r\n\r\n

THANK YOU LISA & CORINA FOR SAVING MY HAIR!\r\n\r\nMy hair was a total mess when I met Corina and she not only saved it, but also made it look fabulous! \r\n\r\nBefore I found Lisa's I had been through the WORST haircut/color of all time. My long locks were chopped off and not even evenly. My curls were gone and I was left with an orange/redish messy frizzy nightmare. I made an appointment to basically shave off my head, because I couldn?t see any other way to fixing my hair.\r\n\r\nI used to be very brave when it came to haircuts (what's the big deal, it grows back, right?), but this bad experience left me traumatized of hairdressers and almost brought me to tears. (You have to understand, my hair was so damaged I couldn?t color it, for months I wished I could wear a baseball cap to work and had to spend close to an hour every morning fixing my hair for the first couple of months. Yes, months!) \r\n\r\nSix months and several great reviews later, I made an appointment to see Corina. She was like an immediate best friend. She knew (just from looking at my hair) what had happened, and understood why I was so afraid to get another cut. I kid you not, she would stop every couple of minutes and ask if we had cut too much. Lisa also came by, commiserated with us and gave me some (great) ideas about coloring. It sounds silly, but at that moment it meant a lot that they took my concern so seriously and tried really hard to make me feel comfortable again. \r\n\r\nOnce she was done my hair looked amazing! How did she do it? I have no idea. Magic, most likely. I had curls again and, most importantly, I could style my hair in just a few minutes like I used to! In one visit I went from choppy spiky hair to short curls. Corina is truly a hair genius. \r\n\r\nI literally went from the worst to the best salon experience ever. Everyone at the salon was really nice, fun and seemed to really enjoyed being there. Kudos to Lisa for making it such a great salon for their clients and her employees. But the main miracle worker was Corina. She is amazing and will forever have my business. Not only because I trust her, but because my hair looks amazing every time and stays that way for a long long time!\r\n\r\nI hope no one goes through a bad haircut, but if you do or if you just need a great cut or color, you need to give these guys a try. At a minimum you will get to enjoy a great coffee while you get settled. \r\n\r\nThanks, Corina!\r\n\r\nP.S. My last visit was two months ago and my color and cut are still pretty decent. When I used to go to other (cheaper) salons by this point the color and cut would be completely gone. One visit to their salon might cost you more but it will last you a lot longer. (I had to add this last part after reading other reviews of people with similar experiences. This salon is SO WORTH IT!)

You are reading this because you really want to find someone good to do your hair. It is so hard to find someone who is good technically and creatively and actually listens to you. This is your lucky day!! I read about Lisa Power Salon on line and decided to give Jeremy a chance with my hair. I wanted platinum blond hair and he worked miracles! (my hair is dark) Not only that but it looked healthy and shiny. He is a easy person to be with, no diva here just a kind and creative guy who loves his work. Great color, great cut and a sweet guy who listens. What more could you ask for? Actually there is more...it is a laid back shop with great people. No pretense, just good energy and great people. You will think you died and went to heaven. \n\nA footnote: more miracles, after several months I decided to go a rich chocolate brown with highlights. He did a beautiful job with my hair plus it looks shiny and healthy. Is there anything he can't do?

Lelia OWNS my hair.\r\nI just turn her loose and she always gives me a cut that makes me look good. \r\nI'm very happy to have found someone who so easily understands how my short hair behaves and how to bring out some style without saddling me with a lot of styling chores. \r\nThanks, Lelia!

I love this salon because they don't just do your hair, they make you feel welcome and really listen to what kind of hair style, cut and or color that you want. \n\nLelia was my hairstylist and she isn't just talented, she's entertaining too! I have to say that she is the best hair stylist I have ever had. If you want to go red, I highly recommend her.\n\nI simply love the time I spend at the Lisa Power Salon, getting pampered, enjoying refreshments and escaping from my busy schedule. If you have been searching for a salon to be your regular spot for maintaining your lovely locks LPS is the place for you!

I have been to the Lisa Power Salon to get my hair cut and colored by Tina several times now and I have been thrilled with the services there. Tina is excellent with my thick hair, and was able to fix the color I'd been doing on my own for years. Everyone in the salon is so friendly and helpful. I will never have to find a new salon again!

I had my first appointment last year with Tina after reading all the great reviews on Citysearch about the salon. She gave me a great cut with a fantastic color, which is a feat in itself considering I have very thick curly hair. Best part was that even as it was growing out it still kept it's shaped and curled well.\nYesterday I went back looking for a shorter cut and updated color for summer. The only guidance I gave Tina was that it needed to be long enough to put up in a ponytail. I came out of the salon with an amazing bob-length cut with caramel highlights. I couldn't stop checking myself out in the mirror. It is the perfect cut for my face and my curls are more manageable with less frizz, always a bonus!\nI've gone to Salons all over town, and now I finally feel like I've found a stylist that really understands my hair and my needs. The salon itself is a great mix of relaxed professionals who all seem to be great at what they do without a hint of pretension.

I recently moved from the Portland area to Gig Harbor. After having a bad experience at Bocz Salon in Seattle (which came highly recommened), I have been driving to Portland to get my hair done. Today I had my hair done by Jeremy at the Lisa Power Salon ,and it turned out great. The staff is very friendly and professional. Jeremy did a great job with my blonde highlights and listened to what I wanted! I observed the other stylists and they were very knowledgable and proffesional as well. If you have been looking for a place to go and get great service and results go here!

I had been looking for a long time to try a new salon, knowing I would be abandoning my effort to grow out my hair. Prior to last May, I had maintained a short-short cut for about 10 years. So I decided I was going to go back to short. I was hoping to find a salon with great stylists, who could get me back there with panache. \r\n\r\nI'd been following several salons on Yelp and in ""Best of"" rankings. Lisa Powers showed up consistently - mostly for color, but also for cuts. I liked the idea that it was a smaller salon, and that the chairs were not simply rented by random stylists (see Vain), but that Lisa, herself, selected stylists and it seemed that Lisa was very particular. So I decided to have my hair cut at the Lisa Powers Salon.\r\n\r\nI hate the idea of hurting anyone's feelings. But I, myself, rely on reviews, so I need to weigh in. \r\n\r\nThe folks at Lisa Powers Salon are very, very nice and it's a friendly place, but the gal who cut my hair seemed not to be very experienced. After she had done the major cutting of my hair, she was going back over it doing some fine tuning. Amidst the now short hair was a significant strand on the side of my head - it was more than two inches longer than the rest of my hair -- it was quite obvious. The stylist kept combing around it, snipping this and that. Finally, I told her she needed to cut that hank of hair, which she did.\r\n\r\nThe rest of the haircut continued about like that. I had to direct her to soften the sharp edge of the Dumb-and-Dumber bang cut that she had given me on one side. \r\n\r\nShe was disturbingly indiscriminate with the thinning sheers, and finally, I said that I hoped she would go around and do a more detailed, manual texturing. I asked if she knew how to do that. She said yes and proceeded to pick up the thinning sheers and go at it again. This did not produce the effect I was hoping for. \r\n\r\nShe observed that I had a thick spot on the top of my head, so she applied the thinning sheers to that spot again - I now have to do a bit of a comb over in that area so my scalp doesn't show through. It'll be fine in a couple weeks, so I'm not freaking. \r\n\r\nThe unfortunate thing about getting a short cut is that if it doesn't go well, there's nothing more to cut in order to fix it. On the other hand, if someone does a poor job cutting it, in six weeks it grows out and you're out of the woods.

(cue Edda James singing ""At Last"") (lol)\n I finally found the perfect place for me!\nMy hair is naturally curly but I wear it smoothed out often. I've been in Seattle since March of 09 but have had nothing but mistakes, bad cuts and mediocre color with each place I tried. Someone at work recommended I try Lisa's Salon out after seeing me have one too many bad hair days.\nFrom the moment Lisa's receptionist answered my neurotic call - My hair troubles in Seattle have been over! \nIt's obvious that all that work there LOVE what they do - and even though my appointment was at the end of a day - they had just as much enthusiasm as if I was their first client. The consultation was super fun -- super thorough - and gave me the confidence I needed to have to know that I was in good hands. \nMy cut is THE BEST CUT I've had in years -- literally! I walked out of the salon feeling great - looking great and excited to come back for coloring. \n\nThank you SOOO much Lisa - for helping me remember my ""inner pretty""!

I saw Jeremy and he was wonderful. He really took the time to make sure that I would know how to style my hair at home...and took the time to understand what I requested. I absolutely love my cut and my highlights...and he did wonders with my blonde hair. I will go to him again : )...very satisfied, but a little pricey and it is SUCH a long drive...but worth while.

I was a client of Lisa's for several years but went looking elsewhere hoping for similar style and ease but at a lower price. I have been to many, many stylists and salons, high and low. I gave up. I went back to the best. Why? Because Lisa makes my hair rock! I found the costs actually average out the same because the grow out on the cuts and color are so expertly done that my hair truly does not need the frequency of upkeep required when handled by less gifted hands. I have short hair, yet, two months out from my last cut & color people still stop me on the street to say my hair looks fabulous and ask who does it. This happens often. My hair is now one of my best features and yet is one of my fastest and easiest to take care of. (I am a high style, low maintainence kind of girl.) I an indebted to Lisa for making me look so good and feel so pretty. xoxo

I love the way Lisa cuts and colors my hair. I?ve seen a lot of stylists in the past and they never seem to hit the mark with the cut. Lisa got it right from the first cut. I just love my new cut and color. It really helped that she showed me how to style my hair and recommended the right products to use because now I can do it at home so my hair looks great all the time. \r\n\r\nI highly recommend Lisa Power Salon to anyone looking for a great cut and beautiful color plus this salon has a great staff and a very friendly atmosphere. You will love this place!

Lisa spent a great deal of time with me and the challenges I had been having with past 'hair' experiences. She listens....but most importantly....she knows what to do with the information. Before finding this salon I had become discouraged with numerous other salons. \r\nAs my husband says, ""when I'm happy with my hair....I'm happy with the world""!.....and you can only imagine when I'm not happy with my hair......So we are all grateful that I have found the best hair salon in the greater Seattle area!!

When you cut 14 inches of hair off, you really want someone who knows what they are doing. You want them to be bold, and confident. After 20 years of long hair, it was time for a drastic change. Sarah was excellent and I love my new cut. Have since gone back for a trim and highlights. Love the new do!

I've been going to Jeremy for quite a while now, and each time he does a wonderful job. One of the things I appreciate the most is how he has a lot of ideas, if you're looking for them, but he's also more than happy just to listen and do whatever you'd like, if you already know what you want. He's also very good about explaining what he's doing, how to style the haircut, answer any other questions, etc. The people working here are true professionals, and it's clear they are invested in their clients. I feel like my hair looks better than it ever has. Two thumbs up.

Pros: Good service, good cuts, good color

Three years ago, I drove from Federal Way up to Queen Anne to get a hair cut after reading an article in Seattle Magazine about Lisa's salon. I really thought I'd go once, and then try to find something closer to home. \r\n\r\nBut I'm still a client, and I still make that drive every 6-7 weeks. \r\n\r\nJeremy is, without a doubt, the most talented hair professional I've ever encountered. I was feeling like a dowdy middle-aged mom when I started with him, and now, for the first time in my life, I actually LOVE the way I look, and I have to say--I think I look pretty darn hot! I can actually style my hair (pretty close to) the way he does it--because he's taken the time to show me what to do, and turned me on to the most amazing product of all time: Morroccan Oil. \r\n\r\nJeremy also shampoos my hair in a way that makes me want to go outside and have a cigarette afterwards. And I don't smoke. :)\r\n\r\nI love this place, and cannot recommend it enough. Call NOW and make an appointment!!

Pros: Amazing stylists, cool vibe, everyone talks to each other!

Cons: Pricey--but worth it.

Lissy helped me update my look! Not only did she give me a fresh new cut she taught me how to style it so I would not revert back to my old over done ""helmet hair"" look. I also recommend her for color. She used multiple colors so my hair looks vibrant and It doesn't show grow out. I look younger and I couldn't be more pleased with her customer service!

I love Lissy! I came to her a few weeks ago feeling very drab about my hair color. She sat down, listened to how I was feeling, and gave me lots of options. I totally trust Lissy, and was happy to put myself in her hands. Lissy's years of experience in hair and makeup, and her architecture background gives her great insight and perspective on hair design and color. She knows what looks good each individual! I was thrilled with my results, and got many compliments. I highly recommend Lissy.\n\nThe LP salon was awesome. They were very warm, friendly, and professional. They make it about YOU! I look forward to visiting again.

Well worth the price, Sarah Reilly is simply the best. Whether you need a stylish cut or eye-popping color and shine, Sarah is the one for you! Her cuts make my hair easy to style, beautiful while growing out, and reflect the latest design while complimenting my individual style. She listens to my preferences and provides great advice and knowledge. She has found the right balance between personable and professional. I'm constantly being complimented on my cuts and asked for her card. She is elegance and grace. A true artist!

I recently moved to Seattle from Portland and after a few months (and a few Great Clips trims) I realized it was time to find a salon. I had been going to the same salon in Portland for years so I was a little anxious about finding a new one. After reading reviews of Lisa Power Salon on Citysearch and Yelp, I decided to try it out. I am happy to report that I have found a place I will keep coming back to. Corina helped me update my look with bangs and the day before I left for Mexico she gave me the most amazingly subtle and perfect highlights. At my first visit, I loved how she took the time to just sit down with me and talk about what I wanted to achieve with my hair. She's super cool and really listens! Plus, I trust her to tell me if she doesn't think a hairstyle or color will look good on me. The overall vibe of the salon is very relaxed and unpretentious. Everyone who works there seems to really enjoy it, which makes it a fun place to go. They sell hair products but I have never felt pressured to buy anything. I have found the prices for cuts/color are reasonable. Since going, I have recommended Corina at LPS to a friend with crazy curly hair, and I swear her haircut makes me want to have curly hair! So cute. All in all, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a hair salon they will want to keep coming back to (forever!). Ask for Corina!

Cons: Parking (sometimes)

I have been seeing Sarah for over a year now and get compliments everywhere I go on my hair color. Sadly gone are the days when I played with my color for fun, now it is a serious cover up job with the entire gray coming in. Sarah suggested red and my first thought was that I would look ridiculous, not saucy enough for that transition. I am here to tell you that not only do I carry it off, women and MEN literally compliment me several times a week! We have had fun experimenting with different shades and my new look has definitely given me a confidence boost.\r\n\r\nI appreciate Sarah's sense of humor and her unique style and personality. I trust her suggestions and feel like she truly wants to make me look my very best. We discuss fashion and she has helped me feel more comfortable with fashion choices and accessories that I thought looked great on others, but just weren't me. It's amazing the transformation that has taken place and as another poster commented, there are other things I am cutting back on but my salon visits are not one of them. Keep on rockin' Sarah, you are the real deal! \r\n\r\n The rest of the staff is very friendly and Tami makes a kick a$$ latte!

I have been seeing Sarah since she started at Lisa Power Salon in the exciting and hip Seattle area of Queen Anne. When I go in to see Sarah it's like treating myself to a day of luxury! When I get there she is quick to offer me my favorite beverage, an americano. Soon we are discussing what I want done. I have seen a lot of stylists in the past and even if I am specific to the angle I want to take with my look, they never seem to get it right. Sarah nails it every time, and in fact, I have even stopped telling her what I think first because I tend to like her ideas better. I consider myself a canvas awaiting a magnificent masterpiece! Oh, and one more thing...she gives a mean head massage :). Thank you Sarah!!

I am new to the Seattle area and we all know how hard it is to find a great hair person and once we find them it is hard to leave!! I went to the Lisa Power's salon for the first time where Sarah did an AMAZING job! After getting hilights for 10+ years I can easily say she is the best colorist! She really makes you feel pampered and special! They even offer you a complimentary latte while you are getting your hair done! She also gives you a relaxing scalp massage which is worth the trip on its own : ) They also have great hair products including a Moroccan oil which literally transformed my hair! I have tried every leave in conditioner and serum and this product is amazing and smells wonderful, gives you shine while conditioning and protecting your hair. \r\n\r\nWith all of the daily stresses we all combat, take the time for yourself to feel pampered you deserve it!\r\n\r\nThe staff is very friendly and it is a beautiful atmosphere. I would highly recommend the salon and Sarah to anyone looking for that special hair person : )

I love the service and personality at Lisa Power Salon. I've been seeing Corina there, who is an amazing new talent at the salon. I happened to find her at the Aveda Institute when she was finishing her schooling and followed her to Lisa Power Salon. \r\n\r\nThe extra training that they gave her at the salon was great and has really enhanced her already natural gifting in cutting hair. I have thin and fine hair which is tricky and I know of many hair stylists that can not do anything with it, but Corina is definitely able to jazz it up! I've gotten lots of compliments on my hair cut and it is so flattering on me!\r\n\r\nPlus, the color that they use at the salon is amazing and long lasting. Corina did a great job coloring my tricky hair and even did unique things with it. I love coloring my hair red, whether it be auburn tones or brighter. Usually, all red colors fade fast and by the time I go to get a re-color, I am desperate for it. Not with the line they use here. I still look an amazing red when I go back 2 months later to get the color redone. It's great!! \r\n\r\nPlus, they are also really good at extra service friendly treats, like a great scalp massage (Corina does a great one!) and oh, I can't forget the great tasting lattes they make there. It's such a treat to go to the salon and get a latte with your service!\r\n\r\nThey may be pricier, but so worth it with the talent and service that you receive there. After being in Seattle for 2.5 years and searching around for a stylist, I'm definitely staying with Corina for some time!

It's almost impossible to not be stressed about money, especially when its all anyone talks about. So obviously when you decide to finally spend some, you want to make sure that you get even more than you paid for. So I said to myself that one thing I would not skimp on in 2009 is seeing Sarah at the Lisa Powers Salon because her cut and color combination is the best in Seattle and worth every cent. I have been going to Sarah for almost a year now and what she has done for my confidence and self esteem by making me look beautiful is worth a lot more than the price I pay. (cut is about 50 bucks and highlights are 130). For a high end salon with a layed back attitude the recession should not touch this salon a bit. Go see Sarah, you will not regret it.

I've always struggled with curly, frizzy hair that won't do what I want it to. Lisa suggested I try this new Keratin smoothing system she has, so I gave it a shot and the results were FANTASTIC! It's smooth, straight, shiny, and beautiful -- it looks and feels so healthy, like it's the hair I was born with. Instead of struggling for ages with a flat iron to get a ""sort of OK "" look, now I can just wash it myself, blow-dry it out, and it stays smooth and straight, with just as much or as little of a gentle curl at the bottom as I happen to feel like styling in. I finally have the hair I've always wanted!\r\n\r\nP.S. Lisa also does really amazing, beautiful work with color -- you should see the great, rich red I'm showing the world these days. (As well as a wonderful cut!)
