My daughter played a baseball game at Skyline College abut one week ago and I cannot believe the beautiful turf fields that they have there. Baseball, soccer and football!

Skyline College is one of the better junior colleges in the bay area. Its located in a foggy area of San Bruno, but don't let that stop you. Its very affordable and since its a small camous, you can easily get you associate degree in 2 years. They offer excellent classes and the professors are very knowledage. Also parking permits are very affordable. Check it out if you want a good junior college.

If you want a huge variety of classes, go to City College of San Francisco instead of here. But more than likely, you will have a hard time getting classes. Skyline on the other hand is not. The school itself is not very large and might not meet all the needs that you might have. But for the classes that do catch your interest, the class sizes are exceptional and the teachers are very friendly. The cafeteria and facilities such as the computer lab are nothing to rave about, but aren't bad either. The admission is decent as most junior colleges are meant to be and even with books, the cost should be mangeable enough compared to universities. Another plus is if you plan to attend a CSU or UC school in the future, a lot of the units are transferable.

I live next to Skyline college so I decided to take a couple of fun classes during the late afternoon. I am enrolled in a physical education class (Volleyball) and a cosmetology course. It is great. The environment is so easy for laerning. All of the students are very nice to each other. The teachers are wonderful and they make things interesting. All the people in the business office are great too, especially financial. Its a professional campus that easy on the pocket.

Skyline College located at a high point of the city, offers a wide range of degrees, and certificates. The school seems a bit on the small side, however makes it up with its tremendous access to technology, and resources. The library is very well put together, and students seem to mind there own business. The bookstore is very cramped, and needs to be shifted to another area of the campus, however for what your paying for, Skyline offers probably the best mix of technology, and education in one. Parking also doesn't seem to be a major problem.

This is a local community college up in San Bruno. I recently transfered out from Skyline to U.C. Davis. It is definately great place for anyone who want to think about a career change. The faculty are really nice! The teachers are very helpful too!

Skyline College is not like average junior colleges. Most of the junior colleges in the bay area are hugh, with too many students and difficulty getting classes. Skyline is not at all like that. There are not many students that attend this campus which makes getting your classes easier. It is also comparable in price to all the other junior colleges in the bay ara. And there are not alot of hidden fees.Thats the best part! Everythingis out in the open.

Skyline is loacted in San Bruno where sometimes the weather can be a bit foggy and cold. But I like the campus bacuse it is a junior college, but it does have millions of students. I like this college because of its small size. Classes are smaller than some of the other junior colleges so you are bale to spend more time with the instructor. The instructors are very helpful and really want you to learn the material and pass this class. Its an excellent place to learn if you can't afford a university yet but want that small class size.

Skyline College is nestled in the fog of San Bruno. The school is on the small side, but it has a lot to offer. The professors are very well educated and friendly. They are always there to help you learn. Also Skyline College is pretty reasonably priced, very comparable to the other Junior college's in the city. Parking is also pretty cheap and teh campus is beautiful, once the fog clears.

Great community college

Skyline College is a great start for those who are looking to transfer to a four-year college. Many of the teachers are excellent. However, they are lacking in the amount of classes available.
PROS: teachers
CONS: amount of classes available

I took a summer biology course at this college. The campus is kind of small but very homey. The professor was entertaining and knowledgable. The students were very helpful of one another. There was also plenty of parking for students at very affordable rates. The only downfall here is the weather. It was foggy about 90% of the time. But overall a good experience.

I had a few classes at this school before. The buildings and library are very clean. The teachers are great and very well educated. The staff are pretty easy going and nice. I did not like the financial aid people though. All except one or two of them were pretty rude. Most of these people are student workers who pretty much likes to ignore those who need help.

I believe Skyline College is one of the best community colleges around the San Mateo- S.F. area. The view around the school is great. The school is clean and the teachers are wonderful. Although a downfall is that there are a lot of construction going around to built a new building. Overall it's a wonderful little school.

I go to City College in San Francisco but took some classes at Skyline College. The campus is not that big but the buildings are very well built. The school does not offer so many classes as San Francisco but they do have great teachers. The course here are most likely to be easier.

Foggy Location

This College is in a pretty location on top of a hill, if you like fog, which I do. The campus is very compact and easy ti get around, with no hills. They have a full sized track and playing field. The academic classes here are pretty good, with very small class sizes. This is one of the few junior colleges that has its own Automotive Shop and program. The art, music, and dance classes are especially good here, with some really good professors and they even have their own small art gallery where they display student and professor artwork. They also offer piano practice rooms. I like the small campus feel of this campus and the easy parking.
