Ldr Kennels

On 5/8/09 I purchased a Yorkie puppy. As we were leaving LDR kennels the puppy coughed a couple of times. I decided it was not serious considering the apparent complete medical records that came with the puppy(My Error) and went on home( a long drive). I took the puppy still coughing to our Vet three days later and he also thought it was probably not serious, but told me to come back if not resolved in 7 - 10 days. In 9 days the puppy was not better and perhaps worse.The Vet put the puppy on a course of antibiotics for week and the puppy is better The bill was about $150.00. I contacted LDR Kennel and informed them about it. I was told they were not responsible for the puppy after it left their place. There is a sign in LDR Kennels reception area that says DOGS SOLD AS IS.We were disappointed to say the least at their response.Let the Buyer Beware.. Jim Woern Coeur D Alene, ID

I see that some people have had mixed responses about LDR Kennels. I am not denying their situations, however, my experience was very pleasant. We got a healthy little puppy that is playful, smart, and a wonderful family pet--at a reasonable price, too.

People who want to close this place down should be blaming the pretentious and snobby breeders who charge ridiculously made up amounts for pets. I got a fantastic and healthy dog with no issues for half the price as the snobby breeders in our area--and in this economy, I'd do it again!

Say what you will, my experience was great.

id like to say i got a yorkie from LDR kennels her name is sadie mae she is very healthy she is three now and we love her very much we are happy that we were able to buy her from nadene she is part of are family thank larry and nadene mindy tracy

I bought a Yorkshire Puppy from LDR kennel in June03. It was love at first sight! She was strong healthy and playful.The owners showed me several puppies and let me handle each one.They let me choose the one I wanted.You hear horror stories of puppy mills but all the pups were healthy and playful. I took her immediately to my own vet and he looked her over said she looked healthy no abnormalities.I will buy another pup from them in a hearts beat.She is 5 yrs old now and still healthy and going strong.I would recommend the kennel owners to any one.Yea LDR Kennel

My wife and I bought a Chihuahua puppy from this "business". He was not healthy and when we arrived home, he had developed signs of a sinus infection. 24 hours after we got home, we had to make an emergency visit to our local vet, costing us $168.00. We contacted the kennel, told them of the problem and asked for reimbursement for the vet bill and they refused.
They also told us he would be registered and we would receive his papers. It's been over 2 months since we bought him and still have not received his registration papers.
I would NOT recommend this breeder to anybody and would NEVER do business with them again.
