Don't waste your time!
by skeeter b.
We have been new members for one month. What a waste of money. There isn't an employee at this gym that seems as if they enjoy their job. They ran out of paper towels on a weekend & 2 weeks later, the "staff" still has not figured out how to open any of the towel holders and put them inside! The tissue paper holder in the handicap accessible bathroom has been broken & laying on the floor since we joined. Sure the ADA would love that one! The music blares way too loud - can't even hear your i-pod when you have them shoved in your ear! The upstairs is roasting & they do not have fans. One fan was purchased by a member! Sauna is still not even being worked on after over a year. Don't attempt to shower there unless you pack your own soap...theirs are always out of product. These may sound like idle complaints, but when you have expensive dues deducted out of your account every month for your family membership, you will eventually wonder where your dues money is going. Can't be on the management or employees as they should all be replaced. Personal trainers are a joke as well. Don't bother with this one - it is truly a waste of money.

Hoping for More
by Bonnie C.
I love the gym space and availability to equipment but I was told the sauna would be almost finished when I signed up. A YEAR ago! That is a sweet treat that I look forward to after a workout and still they are, "Looking for contracters". Sounds like a sorry excuse for NOT INTERSETED after A YEAR!

On the rise
by Samantha J.
The signing up experience was very positive for me. A couple of my friends are members and told me about the low monthly dues. The gym has just added some new classes and equipment. I've only been a member for 2 weeks but the staff is friendly and has answered my questions.

changed my life
by Pro :.
I have had a few bumps in the road but all in all I have come across positive staff who are always willing to help. This gym has had a rough start with several different owners and a relatively high turn over rate with employees, but the core staff have their hearts in the right place and make you feel welcome. This is why I keep coming back and I have not only lost weight but gained confidence and emotional happiness. It is hard work but it is worth it if you want it!

Stay away from Gold's Gym Mukilteo
by Anonymous
I'm ending my membership. Too many promises that were unfulfilled, and they can't keep the staff. Half the time the equipment doesn't work, and even though the place is filled with personal trainers (most are new) no one can help, if you have an issue. I'm still waiting for the newest manager to call me back with a resolution to a recent request. I'm gathering Cort isn't going to call back. I'm canceling my membership and telling everyone I know to stay far away.

You'll be sorry
by Nathan S.
I decided to look into Golds Gym in Mukilteo because it was close to work and features newer equipment. I had a Golds Gym where i used to live an loved it. I realized however that it all comes down to management. I signed up for their 1 year contract in October and canceled 2 days later under their 3 day rescission clause because LA Fitness had a huge deal with out work and they also featured no contract. They also had a completed gym where the satellite tvs actually worked and a sauna that was finished and music isnt blaring over your own music. Over 60 days later with numerous calls to their management, Anthony and Lilly, and letters sent from the BBB, I still have yet to receive my refund from them. Its evident they dont care about their members. From the looks of it I will have to take them to small claims to receive my refund for my first months dues and the sign up fee. Simply ridiculous. Im glad I quit there and wish I never signed up.

Not what I expected
by Anonymous
I have to echo the report about the gym not being what I expected. I was a member for a year. The gym is still not what I was originally promised when I originally joined. Furthermore, I am not impressed with the staff. They have not been helpful in addressing my concerns. I do not recommend this gym.

poor management
by Anonymous
altho this gym has extensive selection of equipment I have concerns re safety & the music is so loud that in the ear pods can not block it! Management has been very unresponsive to my concerns. So join if level of concern by management to patron's well being is not important to you

The Best Gym In The Area
by John D.
I have devoted myself to weight-training and conditioning for the last 4 years. I went to many different gyms and weight training facilities including my home. I have been to Fit Pro, Anytime Fitness, Bally Total Fitness, and even the YMCA. All those facilities were decent, but Gold's Gym was by far the best. Not only did they have a large variety of machines, but also a number of well trained personal trainers.
The personal trainers explained to me how every machine worked, how to use them, and also how NOT to use them. They also gave me tips on how to stay healthy and fit while your not in the gym. In the beginning i was reluctant to pay the extra money, but later it really payed off. I became friends with the trainer and we started working out together. You really have to be committed, otherwise its not worth the money.
If anyone wants to start weight-training, you should definately go to Gold's Gym. They have the state of the art facility, as well as trainers, which beats out other gyms easily. I love Gold's Gym and I am still going there today.
