Happy Donuts

On National Doughnut Day I rushed over there with my husband. The egg, cheese and bacon sandwiches were wonderful and the coffee was ok. The doughnuts were old and cold.

The service? The man who runs the place is lovely, but the young woman who works there was rude! I asked her which of the two kinds, the glazed or the sugared donut, was fresher. She said they have different textures. I told her I realized that. She then ignored the rest of our order -- we had ordered a bunch of other stuff -- and started filling the order of the next person. I asked if she wouldn't take the rest of our order and she ignored me. The man came over and took the rest of our order, fortunately.

This doughnut shop is off the beaten path. Their cake do-noughts are great. It is located behind a gas station off of Moreland. It isn't opened early early though.
