Let's Get Loud Cheerleading

My daughter first saw the Texas Heat All-Stars perform @ a Spurs game almost 4 years ago and fell in love with them. Because at the time she had an attention span of a gnat, I made her join TCD through the district to see if cheerleading was just a passing mood. After completing the year with TCD, she was still bugging me, so we found Let's Get Loud (now Element Tumble & Cheer) and she auditioned for the Hot Cakes Exhibition Team. She completed the year, progressing amazingly. She is now starting her second year on the Mini All-Star Team, they are now a Level II. I am extremely proud of my daughter and her progress. As for the gym, I would not keep my daughter there and pay the tuition if I was not happy with the services & staff. The owner is very understanding and shares information as needed with the parents; she is also a great listener when we need it. She takes time out of her extremely overwhelming schedule to talk with us about our concerns. We have had some girls/parents jump ship and go to another team. I think it is sad that another team gets to take advantage of our gym creating great tumblers & cheerleaders. But, it is understandable, since they don't seem to build cheerleaders, just take them from other teams... But, don't worry. We will see them again at Nationals; when we show them that we are stronger without them. As long as my daughter wants to cheer, she will be cheering for Texas Heat All-Stars ONLY!!!

My daughter currently cheers at Let's Get Loud. She's been there for 2 years. The first year wasn't BAD but i wasn't happy. i decided to just drop my kid off and not watch so i wouldn't have to get irritated by it. and i also chalked it up to unrealistic expectations on my part. Now I'm just TIRED of the place. There is no receptionist most of the time and only two coaches. To get information from these people is like pulling teeth. No one ever knows anything and information changes from one day to the next. one of the biggest problems was $180 warm up uniforms being at least 2 sizes too big and not coming in until January and only getting 1 or 2 uses from them. there are usually last minute changes. The owner is very unprofessional. She often complains about her own personal financial issues as they are related to the gym to us parents.
