I have long, fine, straight, limp hair, and if not cut properly (as it usually happens), it appears as if it is finer, limper and lifeless. It was wonderful to finally find a stylist who understands the challenges and the dos and the donts when cutting this type of hair. And, lucky me, he is right here in Miami!! Patrick gave me a cut that made my hair look more abundant, bouncier and gloriously luxurious (and he didnt even use styling products when drying it). He takes time to listen and explain what he will do. He is extremely talented and has gone beyond the artistic realm of his craft to create the first scientific system for cutting hair, which is why he can achieve such perfect and precise cuts. And on top of all this he is a charming and sweet soul. This is a stylist you can thoroughly trust.

I have the difficult task to exceed the other ladies positive comments about their great haircuts by Patrick Garelle, but I will try my best :

After beeing warmly greeted by this european gentleman, it does not take him even 3 minutes, to figure out how you should wear your hair! He has the gift of this natural instict God put in his crib and he cannot control; it flows out of him like a hughe river, he feels the urge to put a perfect balance on our heads...and voila! The result is amazing and never before in my 55 years I had volume where I should ... and I had my hair cut in several continents...
Best of all: he loves wash and wear cuts... isn't that great?
Look, it's like having chocolate cake from Publix all your live and then you get to taste one from "Fauchon" in Paris, so please be prepared to pay for your artwork, not a haircut.

I thought since he was an acclaimed hair stylist to the stars that it would have been a snobbish attitude and feel out of place, but he was the total opposite! I real sweetheart and listened and spoke to you just as one of his friends. I have been to numerous hair stylist and have always ended up with bad cuts, he is the best!! He did a haircut that goes great with my face and gave suggestions as well (leave it long and dont go blonde!). I had an appt the week before but there was awful traffic and couldnt make it, he was kind enough to call back and let me know where the accident was to avoid it. I love my haircut! He is the best! I would definetly go again and recommend others to go as well. BTW no cc ...a great stylist and awesome attitude and treatment, it cannot be beat!

As a M.D. - I am VERY picky about everything, but Patrick is perfect. He is able to use science to perfect the Art of the haircut. I have been all over the country and never had a person cut my hair with such precision, grace, and talent. Getting your haircut by Patrick is like having your dinner made by Emeril or Wolfgang Puck- he is the best of the best. Patrick is a Genius. He is the smartest hairdresser I have ever met (He literally applies laws of physics to your hair so that you get the best haircut for your face!) Your hair is not something to put in the hands of anyone- it is your crowning glory- so only go to the best. I am truly honored to have my hair cut by such a master stylist- I will never go to anyone else again. Oh and if you are wondering... He is superbly nice and unpretentious(No snobbery here!) I had the pleasure yesterday of receiving the first cut in my 50 years that was truly designed with many things as elements, my lifestyle, age, shape of face, and what I wanted most of all, easy to maintain yet chic and carefree at the same time. I moved back to Coconut Grove after being gone for 20 years and spent the first year here working with a hairstylist who tried to give me what he thought best until the last cut was so terrible and not me, a friend mentioned Patrick and went to him.

While he may be more than you are used to paying, there's no price to be put on a style that is uniquely you. And that's what he does. The precision is amazing yet it looks so natural. I went in with long hair to my shoulders and came out with a short cut that took 10 years off my appearance. I brought photos and he said no, that's not for you and let him do what was for me. As the inches came off (3-4) grew excited to see this master piece rather than trepidation that my hair was lying on the floor. He's a master and you know it the moment he begins.
