Love the Continental tires I got at Carolina Tire. My Honda Element was really loud with my Goodyears on the Honda. Jim the owner talked to me about various options but the free GPS by TomTom was the kicker for me. The inside of Carolina Tire is also beautiful at this store. Carolina Tire was absolutely great with my Honda Odyssey. My wife took it in for a free brake check and their skilled mechanics found a leak in my radiator. Their service adviser Stephanie took the time to take my wife out to the car, show her the leak and explain to her what it was and why it needed to be repaired.
My 6 year old daughter was with her and it was hard for her to leave because of the great kids playroom they have at Carolina Tire.
This place is hands down the best repair shop in all of South Charlotte. I went there after to get my oil changed and I saw Mercedes, Honda, BMW's and Ford's all being worked on in this clean shop.
If you are going to another repair shop, you owe it to yourself, your car and your family to go to Carolina Tire and try it out. You will be extremely pleased.

My issues with PT&SC have handled through the store owner.
Please do not hesitate to do business with this local chain.
They have a very nice customer lounge.
They go out of their way to make sure your vehicle repairs are handled efficiently and are cost effective.

I recently moved here from the Chicago. I had a mechanic that I used for years, and was not sure that I would find that same up here outside of a dealership. I was referred to Pineville Tire by a friend, and I am truly pleased. They came and picked up my car at no extra charge to find out why it was cutting off. After a couple hours Jim called me back with the results of there testing and said that a major repair was not needed, just some minor work. His detailed explanations and professionalism, really made me feel comfortable, like I have been going there for years. After he gave me my estimate and finished the work, Lain arranged to have the car brought the car back to my place of work. I felt the price was very reasonable; they even have a car wash and detail service. I have never experienced this kind of service, I am truly happy with my new mechanics.

Wow, what a fantastic place. The new owner Jim is really great. I came in from a coupon, I'm staying because of the high quality service. The first time I came in they gave me a ride to the LYNX train and my car stayed with them while I was at work and then they picked me up. The 2nd time I came in I worked there with the WIFI while my daughter played in their very clean playroom. What a place. This is by far the # 1 place in Charlotte to go for tires and to have your car worked on.

My first impression of Pineville Tire is that it is really clean, they are totally friendly and the service was tops. We bought a great tire called the Nokian i3 and love them. Jim really made us feel at home and that we could trust him. I'm so glad that we went there. I will not go anywhere else for tires for to have my car serviced.

I'm here to tell you about the fine job Pineville Tire is doing for me and the community. IT IS REFRESHING to see a tire and automotive place like Pineville Tire. Jim spent a lot of time with me in helping me choose tires for my Infiniti FX35. She's my baby and I don't trust her with just anybody. I read the great reviews on Pineville Tire so I wanted to see for myself. PINEVILLE TIRE IS THE REAL DEAL. Trust, professional, nice and caring are words I have for them. I got the best deal on tires (they even beat Discount Tire). They have a wonderful showroom, like no other I have seen. I got new tires on my FX, watched March Madness on the big screen tv, ate popcorn and was out in under an hour.
I will ONLY take my Infiniti to Pineville Tire from now on. Even with any future mechanical problems.
Pros: Greta prices, friendly and smart staff
Cons: Need more of these

My '97 Ford Explorer was not turning so well and it was grinding when I would break. Firestone in Matthews said I needed work totaling over $1500. Read reviews here and brought my car to Pineville Tire. They showed me exactly what was going on with my car and gave me a quote for $350. After they got everything taken apart to do the work they realized I was 4 wheel drive instead of 2 wheel drive so I really needed a new emergency break (which makes sense b/c I drove with that on for a couple trips) and I got out of there for just over $430.
My car turns much better now even though Pineville Tire did not replace the ball joints of bearings that Firestone recommended. A month later and the car is still fine.
Pros: Willing to pickup/drop off
Cons: Closed Sundays, but most mom and pop shops are I think

I've lived in South Charlotte for sometime now and drive a Mercedes S550. I'm going to save a little money so I look for another repair facility other than the Mercedes dealer. So I found Pineville Tire right across the street from South Charlotte Mercedes. I am so impressed with Pineville Tire. They were friendly, their place was gorgeous inside, free WIFI, popcorn, cool LCD tv, the whole 9 yards. The experience was extremely enjoyable. I even got a discount for driving a Mercedes. The tech's explained everything about my brakes and tires. The owner was actually there and very nice. This is a 1st class operation. I'm not going to the car dealership any longer now that I have Pineville Tire. You really need to try this place. Their tire prices were better than Discount Tire. A ++ for Pineville Tire.
